Nicaila Matthews Okome is a fantastic interviewer. Some Interviews feel so scripted, but these feel like conversations. Nicaila Listens deeply and asks probing questions that clearly come from her clear wise curiosity. I’ve learned so much!

I truly look forward to the episodes! Sometimes I watch on YouTube and then turn around and listen on here because of the gems that are shared. I am going through lot of personal and professional transitions and I listen to the episodes not only for inspo but to see how people work through there problems! Thank you for all you do and the knowledge and kind spirit you share with us! Also your laugh is contagious and definitely makes my day!

OMG!, great content!! Can we be friends?, I really need you and your mind. So she has a shaky voice, who cares!?! Her voice is unique and great, content is impeccable and delivery is perfect!! Love it completely!!

I really wish I could get past her shaky voice/sound quality because her content seems really good, but her voice sounds really breathy and shaky. I have a hard time wanting to deal with this because I have podcasts that I LOVE. I hope that she takes a look at this but I can’t say that I would recommend this one at this point because the quality is sub par. I’ve just listened to her 2 most recent episodes. One was with Nicaila on her own and I called it quits not even 10 minutes into it. Then I listened to the “Go-To Merchandisers” hoping that either she had a cold or the quality would be better…it’s not good but her interviewing and content was great and the guests sound quality was great. I’m just so confused because I really do want to love it butI’m annoyed :/

Not only has the podcast motivated me to push through that fear but I finally achieved my goal of becoming a published illustrator. It has also helped my 14 yr old daughter Zoe get the courage to launch her slime site in a niche market that not many black girls or guys are highlighted in even if they have a great product.
