I am a 1L and have, at times, felt despair at the number of law students who are interested in public interest/social justice lawyering. This podcast is a salve for any law student/lawyer who might be feeling the same way. I only listened to one episode and am looking forward to hearing more from lawyers who have worked for the public good.

Patrick and Logan do an excellent job diving into the legal system to describe how the law is actualized and practiced, not just how we imagine it operates. It's a fantastic look into the intersections of justice and the law, and why those two things aren't always the same. The podcast is information dense, and features good interviews with practicing lawyers.

I'm not a law student but find this podcast extremely interesting and meaningful. I am inspired by listening and learning about each social issue they feature. At first I was worried that I would be lost in the lawyer jargon, but this didn't happen at all! This podcast is a must listen for EVERYONE who cares about social justice.
