Always a pleasure
See Something Say Something is always such a pleasure to listen to. Ahmed is earnest but not naively so. He genuinely cares abou the people he has on and the people who might be listening. He makes sincere effort to be inclusive, to explore a broad range of what it means to be Muslim (mostly in North America) today. I learn something new every time about Muslim experiences, Islam, and being human!

What a great podcast! As a Latino exploring Islam, I found this to be very thought-provoking and compelling! The host is phenomenal!

I’m so attracted!!
Your voice is so easy to listen to. I love having you at work. I love the variety in your different guests helping me understand the Muslim religion/culture complexity so much more. I just married my lovely Iranian husband and this podcast has really made me fall in love even more with his background!

Great listen!
So glad the podcast is back! Not Muslim and don’t live in the US but appreciate learning from Ahmed and guests about all types of cultural and religious experiences. Required listening for all who grew up religious like myself, no matter from which tradition. Thank you!

Love this podcast so much!
I’m so happy to have See Something Say Something back!! This podcast is smart, nuanced, and an absolute delight to listen to. Ahmed is a great host who brings in thoughtful guests to speak on topics that matter — would 100 percent recommend this to anyone.

my go-to.
incisive, thoughtful, nuanced, and deliberate — the world would be a better place if we all listened to this show. as a daughter of immigrants, it gives language to the murky thoughts and feelings i often have but can’t name. i’m so glad this show exists & even more delighted it’s back in production. 💜

Love it!
My favorite go to for podcasts. Ahmed is hilarious and thoughtful and the show does a good job of discussing Islam and Muslims in America in a way that hasn't really been done before. 10/10!

It’s back!
Very excited to see this come back, even if it isn’t super-regular yet (you know, Ned school and whatnot). I stand by my original review: “Without taking himself too seriously, Ahmed explores being Muslim in America. I love the somewhat nerdy sense of humor and very real conversations that take place.”

Great podcast!
This podcast is a joy to listen to. Buzzfeed made a mistake to cut their podcasting teams. Hope everyone is doing well and that you get to bring this back someday!

In all honesty this podcast has been life changing. I never realized there were other American Muslims who had my views. It’s truly doing big things inviting all these great individuals to discuss important topics. I’m a little sad I’m all caught up, but excited for what’s to come! If you want to make baby steps in being a better Muslim or even just learning about the American Muslim, this podcast delivers a wonderful representation.

Good.
It's nice hearing Muslim Americans tell their own stories. The host is funny which gives the podcast such a fun vibe and even through tough topics he stays realistic/hopeful.

Not everyone could fast!
Great informative about Ramadan fasting, but could he explore how to feel like a complete Muslim, if you can’t fast due to medical reasons. I could not fast this Ramadan and fasting makes me feel complete. Shukran

One of the best podcasts on my list. Love Ahmed and his guests!

So good! Listen now!
This show is a wonderful addition to the podcast world. I'd recommend listening to at least the first couple episodes wherein the hosts explain the goals and structure of the podcast, what it is and what it isn't (e.g., speaking for all Muslim people and experiences). I'm glad I'm now up-to-date on it, however, because often the hosts and guests will be discussing current events and issues going on in U.S. society. Thoughtful, humorous, informative, and also not afraid to tackle difficult topics.

Thank You!
Ahmed is a great host! Ahmed has great guests! The production is wonderful, the content is interesting, thought-provoking, educational. As a non-muslim, I find this podcast very accessible. Plus I love it when Ahmed references his punk rock days.

Swearing
Stop associate yourself with fasting and Muslim practice and eating and swearing. This is disgusting. Is that okay for muslim people joke around with swear words and fasting for Ramadan at the same time? This is my question. So disgusting.

Yes!
Not Muslim myself but wanted to hear from Muslim voices; fun, insightful, and real in depth conversations, great stuff!

Intelligent and open personal/political
I just love getting to hear Muslim voices and get a view into identity, politics, and culture. As an American Jew, it's meaningful to hear these perspectives. The host is clever/personal/and a great comfortable facilitator of discussion.

Fantastic
Amusing, insightful, and thoughtful, See Something, Say Something provides a platform for important conversations about the Muslim experience in America while educating and sharing Muslim culture from a personal perspective. I am thankful for this podcast for sharing and helping me understand Muslim experiences when I had no other opportunities to do so.

Personal narratives, personably
As a white guy in middle America, I love the emphasis on personal narratives that Ahmed Ali Akbar brings in See Something Say Something. Especially because so many of his guests are hilarious. The relationships and interactions on display leave me smiling on the road even as I hear perspectives very different from my experiences. Also, Ahmed's dad is awesome. But I always like my chai with a little dried orange peel. Now if I could stop singing the theme song....

Refreshing!
How does a 50-something-year-old person -- who never even cared about my own prom -- listen all the way through a podcast about prom, and enjoy it?? So smart, incisive, doesn't belabor, over explain the obvious. Perfect balance of talking about what's important and seeking practical strategies for getting on with life. How rare! And necessary.

So Interesting!
I LOVE this podcast! I am not Muslim, but I have close friends from Kenya who are. I am learning so much about life in the U.S. for muslims of so many different backgrounds. Please keep this podcast going. Enchilada!!

Sheds a light on Muslim Americans outside the box
The podcast provides me with such happiness that I didn't know I needed to experience. I absolutely love how Ahmed Ali Akbar keeps it lighthearted and talks about everyday things that most of the Muslim community feels despite belonging to many different demographics.

Interesting and smart
The show is enlightening for me, a non Muslim. I especially loved the sports episode that featured Muslim women talking about sports, when women are so frequently pushed out of sports discussions. Ahmed rocks!!

Like a thankful fly on the wall
This podcast makes me feel like I'm privy to a conversation that I normally wouldn't be hearing. I am so appreciative. Thank you for letting everyone into this space and these discussions. Every episode is informative and interesting and I like that it makes me do ten google searches every episode. Also, since listening, I have started noticing so many more references to the culture and religion all around me. Side note: I love Ahmed Ali Akbar's voice.

I love listening to Ahmed and his guests. I'm not Muslim myself but I feel like I'm listening to a conversation with friends, even if I don't share the experiences they describe in certain episodes. You should give them a listen. You will learn a lot and find plenty of cool new people to follow.

What I've been missing
I listen to A LOT of podcasts and they are all extremely different. I didn't realize my life was even missing these voices. I'm currently working my way through all the old episodes and hearing talk about things I don't often talk about with anyone has been great for me. I don't live around or have many Muslim friends and this is really filling a hole for me.
