These guys & gals rule , even if they didn’t like the immortal classic Cemetery Man.

Goodbye!
Another podcast that feels the need to push their political agenda …

Better than...
a poke in the eye with a blunt stick. Politics aside, Travis was the best "superstar" with the right mix of knowledge and passion. The Round Robin format is interesting and facilitates a versatile film lineup. Some good, some bad, but overall they are pretty entertaining for a bunch of drunken yahoos.

Nags
2 women gruffing, “because you’re a guy” “of course you like it, because you’re a man”. You’re on a podcast whose main goal is to watch movies exploiting women. Put up or get. Movie choices nod, commentary hard pass.

Waste
The movie selections are so out there that I mistakenly gave this podcast quite a few tries. Always left feeling frustrated and wondering if I’d heard any original thoughts. Takes a good 20+ minutes to get into the actual movie. Then it’s “we’ll get to that, don’t want to spoil, not sure I can say that yet.” If I’m listening to the podcast I want opinions and don’t care about spoilers. The cast is knowledgeable but delivery is so scattered and irritating you don’t get to hear it. One has a heavy accent or always sounds like swallowing. They’ll get to a good point but then go off on another tangent. Too many inside jokes with no fluidity. The 4th person is just an interruption who hems and haws most of the time. If you don’t like the 1st or 2nd episode you won’t like the 6th. Don’t waste your time like I did.

Great Hosts!
When I first discovered the podcast and liked it, I went back and started listening to old episodes of the movies I like. While they all are pretty decent, I would say their current host lineup is perfect! Keep the great shows coming.

Horror movie fanboy says 5 stars
Brian Scott. Horror movie fanboy on Twitter here to say I really been loving this podcast. Nice positive review of Jason lives. it was a great episode but your review of Halloween kills was so cringeworthy. I don’t know if all you 4 fed off each other’s hate. I find it hard to believe all 4 of you hated it that much.

My favorite Internet Radio Superstars!
There are a lot of movie review podcasts out there, but this one consistently remains one of my favorites. Hosts Holly, Michaela, Colin, and Sean each have their own unique personalities and perspectives, but one thing they have in common is that they are all entertaining and so much fun to listen to. I've heard other podcasts where hosts tend to talk over each other or just don't mix well, but the Saturday Night Freak Show hosts have brilliant chemistry together, and I'm guaranteed a lot of laughs and a fun time whenever I listen. This podcast is highly recommended. I particularly recommend the episodes featuring the current cast. Holly joined the podcast in 2016 and Michaela joined in 2017. I do find the show has been at its best since Holly and Michaela arrived. Giving this podcast five stars, one star for each of the four Internet Radio Superstars, and a fifth star for Igor, who is kind enough to give them their mail every week!

Very loud
Only listened to one episode-couldn’t really enjoy the discussion because of the volume. Lots of yelling/shouting and hosts talking over each other.

Do these people even like horror?
I honestly can’t understand all the positive reviews for this podcast. It sounds like a horror podcast being put out by people who don’t like or appreciate horror. All they do is complain about every movie they watch, many of which classics. I really tried and listened to a few and gave it a chance, but I just can’t. You come out of this hating the people on this podcast as much as the movies they end up hating during each episode. And many times they say things that are just plain uninformed. Hard pass.

One of the best!
One of the best movie shows out there. Just listened to the beast master episode, one of my favorite movies from my childhood. Mark singer was amazing and what a hunk. Highly recommend the tvshow. It ran for 4 seasons and was surprisingly well acted and very good! The actor playing far is excellent, and is still working today on days of our lives, collecting that soap money.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ❤️ this podcast
I was looking for a podcast on “Fire in the Sky” and other related movie topics and Thank God I found this one. You guys and gals have quickly become my fave!!! I can’t tell you how many times I burst out laughing while working listening. This is going to sound like an insult but please don’t take it as such. Y’all are amateurishly professional and I love that!! Keep up the great work!!

I love this Podcast!
I found this podcast in 2020, started digging into their library, and instantly subbed! They cover pretty much everything, and often make me laugh out loud! I have one request, please cover “Stan Helsing” it gets zero love, but it’s so spoofy, dumb, and fun! Thanks for countless hours of audio enjoyment!

Very Good
Discovered the cast in March and have been an acolyte ever since. During this quarantine especially they’ve had an unparalleled run of episodes, matched only by Led Zeppelin in its prime consistency-wise. Good banter, knowledgeable hosts, passionate discussion - the whole package. Half of vinegar syndrome’s yearly revenue comes from these guys, so we ought to support these stewards of the boutique blu ray industry. Never stop making these guys.

They shot on movies they don’t understand
Bad Moon is a fantastic 90s werewolf movie and with The Village if they knew anything about the Amish, the Amish are constantly struggling with modern society influencing they’re kids and making their kids leave the Amish life style.

Can’t wait for this podcast every week
I wish I had more to say than the guys rock. There’s tons of movies I’ve gotten to experiment for the first time because of them and as bad and campy as some can be, they’re still the good, more or less, Lawnmore Man is one I just can’t make it through though. But please keep it guy Saturday night crew. Hearing you guys is a bright spot in my week. For those of you who haven’t seen The Boys, check out the Honest Trailer for it on YouTube

They are clueless
Do not waste your time. Their analysis is worthless. A bunch of nobodies who know nothing about film making.

Great podcast for spooky stories
Every host is great and each brings their own things to the table. Many movie podcasts I find to be very disorganized but this one is different. No one talks over each other, everyone is clearly having fun even with bad movies and it’s all just great. I look forward to my descent into “the basement” each week!

I'm glad I found this podcast. It's a good group of friends who love horror movies and it shows! Thanks for keeping me entertained throughout my work day!

Really good
Randomly found the podcast looking for “the descent” review podcast. Hosts are really informative and funny. Also helps the hosts are from the next town over. Hope they continue the great work

Great podcast
Making my way through the catalog and have listened to about 3/4 so far. Great fun and funny banter about all the movies we love and sometimes hate. Can’t wait to hear the rest!!!

Enjoyable Weekly Film Hangout
I found this podcast a couple of years ago while searching for a podcast that covered “Phantom of the Paradise,” and I have been a regular listener ever since. As a fan of horror and cult films, I highly enjoy the movies that this group chooses to cover and I enjoy hearing everyone’s take on the films, even if I don’t always agree. As a listener you feel like you are hanging out with friends and each week I look forward to “hanging out” with them once again.

Excellent!
I listen to a lot of podcast about cult and horror films. This is among the best! Thank you! Keep up the great works And a word of note - I often listen to the podcast while watching the film discussed. It’s like a film commentary. I appreciate that. Thanks.

Incredibly entertaining!
I have been listening to the Internet Radio Superstars for several months now, and they genuinely make my commute much more enjoyable. There are times I’ve been stuck in traffic and really didn’t mind, as Colin and Sean have gone off on a hilarious rant, or Holly or Michaela are bagging on them for selecting a painful movie. Five stars all around for this funny and insightful movie review podcast. I bet your followers are rising...rising. 😉

They deliver EVERY week!
The current panel of internet radio superstars deliver a fantastic analysis every Saturday that I, and MANY others, look forward to with fiendish abandon: You have dedicated and wise Colin bringing a pedigree of horror movie viewership unparalleled by any other podcast I have found. Holly injects a vibrancy and passion for horror movies and the surrounding culture that is as delightful as her flora namesake. Every group needs their tough, no nonsense, ride or die, voice of reasonable insanity and Michaela has all that AND a bag of (non copyright infringing salted snack). Last, but not least, the Saturday Night Freak Show is rounded out by the raw, sexual magnetism of Sean the Sequel loving Sexpot. Get in on the fastest growing, movie reviewing podcast led by the 4 coolest people in the WORLD! Thanks for the info, laughs and feeling of self importance I get every time these gals/guys read my name. I love what they do and look forward to them every Saturday!

I ran into Collin's sister at her sweet shop in Oregon, and she mentioned his film podcast. On my job I need a lot of stuff to listen to, and so I started loading up my iPhone with podcasts and have been working my way through all the Holly & Michaela episodes. However this episode was the first where I hadn't seen the movie and got me interested enough to seek it out on YouTube for a watch right away. I'd always seen this on the rental shelves but never gave it viewing. I wish I had, it was definitely something I would have enjoyed then and certainly do now. I told my wife about it, and she wanted to give it a viewing so I bought it in SD quality on Vudu for our next movie night. Thanks.

A Movie Review Show That’s Actually Fun
I’ve tried other movie podcasts that often get bogged down with moviemaking minutiae or spiral off into the weeds, spending minutes at a time on in-jokes or totally unrelated topics. This one stays on task, and the pleasantly engaging hosts actually discuss the MOVIES, throwing out just the right amount of relevant extra information. I really like the current lineup. Some of the older shows are hard to listen to because of abrasive presenters, but the current hosts are a nice mix of movie buffs you could sit and enjoy a movie with. Nice job, guys.

Love this Podcast!!
I found this podcast through my guilty horror pleasure Waxworks! From that I have been on a binging spree. I love the way you guys go from the obscure to the mainstream and everything in between. I def want you guys to do the waxworks sequel lost in time it’s so much different then the original and it’s worth a watch from the Bruce Campbell scene alone. Can’t recommend you guys enough to everyone I know .You guys are all great in your own way my favorite is Holly! We have similar tastes in movies and I love her laugh!

Real deal!
So very few movie podcasts give you everything you’re looking for. This one hits just about every mark so well. The only reason I cannot give it five stars is: One of its cohosts (I’m a nice guy, so I’ll resist saying which one) is so harsh and needlessly cynical at times that it takes me out of the episode at times. Otherwise a terrific podcast!!!

ONE OF THE VERY BEST - SERIOUSLY!!!
I love 70's Drive-In/Grindhouse movies and any other films related to this Genre. I always have movie related podcasts playing in my headphones as I paint, mow the grass or do other projects. The Saturday Night Freak Show is one of my very favorite shows. Entertaining, informative and enjoyable. Plus whenever we are listening to movie reviews, especially regarding those classics that we have grown emotionally attached to, we tend to get defensive when reviewers poo-poo or downplay important aspects of those films. SNFS does not do that. They are respectful and it's obvious they have a love of these lurid cinematic treasures that have defined our lives. They are very informed but not know-it-alls. When they are unsure of an aspect of a certain film, they just say that rather than fake their way through it. I am not certain of everyone's age but I do get the impression that they are different and each reviewer brings that knowledge base to the discussion. Over the years I have come across many movie podcasts with younger commentators that dont have the cultural/historical perspective to be able to make comments and critique movies because they don’t know or dont care what came before it. Dont get me wrong - they can be very critical of certain films. But that criticism is based on facts, perspective and production qualities. Over the years I have made it a point to see as many movies as I can but every 5 or 6 weeks, SNFS brings one to the table that I missed or had a pre concieved notion on it's entertainment quality: The Arrival, Slither, Train To Busan. Then it's a rush to Ebay, Neflix or Shudder to check it out! Trust me because I trust them- this is the real deal! Hats off to Colin, Sean, Holly and Michaela. Best wishes for a long running podcast!!!

One of my favorite bad movie podcasts
I’ve really grown to love this podcast, and think it’s only gotten better as it’s gone along. The older episodes are good, too, but I prefer the current format. So, keep doing what you’re doing.

Uninformed analysis
A completely uninformed podcast. I listened to the episode on Possession (given that is an intense movie and requries multiple viewings to fully grasp) and I could barely get through it. The summed up review was like. "ewww gross, I didnt get it" all the while talking over each other and giggling. I know Possession is not a movie for everyone but some intellegent conversation would be nice (there are some hints in the end reviews from the gentleman). There are reasons Possession is so highly regarded. You may not like the movie but it is by no means a poorly acted, written nor directed movie. Based alone by the end reviews from the ladies on the SNFS crew I will not be listening to this podcast again.

Movie talk with friends.
If you’re a heavily obsessive movie fan who loves to overly analyze them or just to have a fun casual conversation about movies you love or Can’t stand, then this is the podcast for you. Every week it’s like having a fun sit down conversation about movies with friends and often you will catch yourself talking out loud back to the podcast as if you are with the group recording it. It’s always a good time with lots of laughs.

Dank..Dark and Full Of Goodness!
I have been listening to this podcast since Episode 1 and love the progression this podcast has made! Nothing like drinking with your friends and hashing it out over bad... and sometimes good bad movies. This is the podcast for you if you are into getting some in depth knowledge behind some of these obscure films. Happy 300 guys and look forward to many many more!

One of the best
Love your podcast. Possibly the best movie review podcast out there. Great dynamic between the four hosts with intelligent, factual conversations. Keep up the great work, you guys make my drives to work and back much easier.

I really tried...
The movie lineup was cool, but the women in the podcast were so annoying.

Fun listen
I really enjoy SNFS's recent shows. Older episodes were pretty rough, bad production, annoying hosts, especially the guy with the deep, super slow cadence. Never caught his name. But I thoroughly enjoy listening to Collin, Sean, Michaela and Holly. I could do with less eating and lip smacking, but the content is good, the hosts have a good repoir and I find them genuinely amusing and fun to listen too. Keep up the good work you'se guys! Oh yeah, please fix your squeaky chair, lol!

More like Saturday Night Fun Show
I really enjoy the Saturday Night Freak Show podcast. They choose fun movies to review and seem to have a blast doing so. Their comments are insightful and they seem to have a healthy (unhealthy?) appreciation of Cannon Films. I look forward to each review every week on my drive to and from work. They are a great group and I can’t wait to see what they do next. Thank you for all the fun. XMonkey76

Accidental Enjoyment
I accidentally stumbled across this podcast while looking for the audiobook for Pet Sematary and I must admit that I thoroughly enjoy it. It’s informative and absolutely hilarious at the same time. All of the hosts bring their own unique qualities to the show and it gels together in a way that make this one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. P.S. Michaela being a full time host on the show with Holly, Colin, and Sean took the show to another level. I enjoyed going back and listening to the episodes that I missed, but I love the ones from Rawhead Rex to The Green Slime even more.

Excellent podcast for non horror fans as well!
As someone who absolutely hates horror movies - but at the same time is curious about what goes on in them, this podcast is great to listen to! They don’t ALWAYS DO HORROR, but it is what you’re going to get mostly, and that’s not a bad thing. I find myself liking this show more and more as I drive long hours (truck driver) and listen to all the hosts carry on about the different movies they bring to to the audience. It’s especially nice, because too many reviewers on YouTube show the graphic parts while doing a review of the movie... if I was into that sort of thing, I’d be watching the movie instead of listening to a talking head about it! Everyone is so lovely, and they all bring very different perspectives to each movie - and it’s always surprising at the end to hear who loves/hates what. Keep up the great work guys! P.s. Its nice to know that all of you guys felt like Return to Oz was Nightmare Fuel in it’s purest form... watched that when I was a kid thinking it’d be like the first... had nightmares for days after Mombi took off her head... I was DONE!

What better way to spend a Saturday ??
I suppose you could go out dining and dancing or maybe spend upwards of $100 to take the family to the latest at your local cineplex; but better yet, put on your comfy-clothes mix up your favorite cocktail and give the Saturday Night Freak Show a listen! Fun round-table discussions of cult hits from Forbidden Planet to Suspiria, The BIg Lebowski to Hot Tub Time Machine. These guys do it all, with humor, honesty and a sense of fun that is contagious . Check them out !!
