Sadly cringe inducing
I appreciate that they skip long winded character introductions that nobody cares about and jump right into the story. I also like that they keep the story moving unlike roughly 99% of the other insanely boring AP podcasts out there. However, I started with the ReMemorex episode “the rake”. After roughly 3 minutes of banter I started counting every time the GM said “Uh” or “um” From the 3 minute mark to the 9 minute mark I counted 137 times. (I may have missed a few). I skipped to the more recent episodes to see if it had improved. Sadly it has not. In fact not only have the “uh” and “um”s not improved, they have also added eating and chewing in the mic to the mix. That’s a shame. If it wasn’t like nails on a chalkboard I would have really enjoyed this one.

Great Games
Love the Delta Green games.
Majdo2020
Fantastic show, loads of variety and depth
I love RPPR! I’ve listened for years. They play a really wide variety of games and their adventures are often really heady and well thought out. Some of their higher concept stuff - like better angels or know evil or Red Markets - is extremely fresh and creative. Can’t say enough good things about them! I recommend ep. 2 of better angels as a light start for new listeners, and any of their Delta Green stuff as a good starting point for folks who like horror. Lover in the Ice is a particularly stellar horror scenario. The Know Evil and Duality Eclipse Phase campaigns are also quite good once you’re in with the crew a bit more seriously- and Red Markets is bleak but EXCELLENT drama. RPPR is afantastic podcast that’s got a great backlog and isn’t swarmed with accouterments like most modern RPG podcasts. Highly recommend.

This should be actual FM radio instead...
This podcast has range if I've ever seen it. These folk really make it fun for not only themselves but the listener too! Pros: range of games I've never even heard of, great humor, amazing collaborative story telling Cons: it can be hit or miss with audio quality, (especially the early ones) also it's hard to follow an arc that you like Overall though, probably the best actual play podcast I can think of.

Great podcast
Great group of players who had humor and drama. The delta green games are the best of the actual plays out there

RPG in real life!
Love these, those some are a bit long for a single sitting. I have read a few reviews complaining about loud noises from the table. They clearly have never gamed after a long day at work, where you skipped lunch for a meeting and need to game and eat at the same time. Welcome to to the reality of gaming life!

Eating/chewing problems
Please stop chewing gum or eating right next to the mic. I’ve tried getting through a few episodes now...

STOP EATING CHIPS
I cannot make it through more than a couple minutes without one of the players eating chips right into the microphone. I’ve come back to this podcast a few different times to try and see why I haven’t listened to one of the episodes, and I always forget about the loud crunching directly into the microphone. For the love of all that is holy, STOP EATING CHIPS! I wish I could listen and give you an honest shot but you’re too busy sitting knee deep in a bag of Funyuns. 1 Star.

Great and engaging actual plays
I just started listening to this podcast a few weeks ago and I’m glad I did. The actual plays are hilarious and thrilling. I’ve been enjoying the Fallen Flag campaign for Red Markets.

Fun and interesting
I started listening a while back because I was looking for a specific topic, and have gone on to listen to the whole library. They are a good group of people who work/play well together and keep things interesting.

Outstanding fun.
Found this podcast earlier this year. I sit and wait for the latest one to pop up on my phone. If you are looking for a great time, give them a listen.

One BIG criticism
The level of knowledge, commitment and fun is 5 stars. I just recently found the RPPR family of podcasts and have listened to several dozen episodes and will probably work my way through all of the episodes eventually. My criticism is this: STOP SLURPING DRINKS AND CRUNCHING ICE WHILE RECORDING. This makes me want to throw chairs and key your car. Thank you.

The God of Bare Bones
This is the most straightforward, screw-it-let's-play actual play podcast I've ever listened to. It was also the inspiration for me personally to do my own RPG podcast, so I acknowledge the bias. Try it out, though. There's no musical intro, there's no high production values, it's just one mic, a table of friends, and off we go. Glorious.

More Cthulhu!
The Masks-Sense campaign mashup was amazing. And the Teeth/Eyes campaign was as well. MOAR, MOAR, MOAR!

Really helps up your GMing game!
I started listening to RPPR about half a year ago, and I have tore through many of their big campaigns, one shots, commentary, etc etc. It is a treasure trove of actual play goodness that has made my work days bearable. The cast at RPPR has helped introduce me to a bunch of new games that I had never heard of before and has really helped improve my own tabletop gaming experience (both as a player and as a GM). 5/5 stars for sure.

A rich tapestry of meaning
The RPPR crew is among the finest of listening experiences that I've ever heard. Nay, the finest. The dulcet tones of Ross Payton make Frank Sinatra sound like a baboon suffering from explosive diarrhea. Tom Church's salty disposition is the perfect seasoning to the stew of brilliance that is RPPR. The other people are good too. Not only this but RPPR cures shingles for I once had shingles and after bed rest, lots of medicine, orange juice, and RPPR, I felt much better. So, listen to RPPR or you're a fascist

Probably the best of em.
I listen to a handful of tabletop actual plays and definitely put RPPR at the top. Frequent posts, some truly great players, and a commitment to campaigns some tables lack--it's nice to see things through. If you're new, I'd look up some of the oneshots Caleb GMs, because he's a mad genius--google Andrew's Fortune, a two-partner that inexplicably manages to be both his first game ever and one of the best I've ever heard.

Can we PLEASE SAY SOMETHING BESIDES... ummmm
It's so VERY ummm... hard to ummmmm... listen to the podcast with the amount of ummmm's the GM says. It's near impossible for him to ummm get through a ummm sentense without at least one ummm if not 3-4.

My new best friends that I've never met
These guys are fantastic and entertaining. If I'm getting into a new system, I love to listen to these guys play it to tighten up my understanding of the rules. Just the right amount of rolling and rules coupled with great stories.

Love this stuff
My favorite actual play broadcast— Ross and the crew (Well, sorry, but minus Cody) are all awesome and put their backs in the role playing. A ton of fun.

Great Actual Play
I listen to a lot of actual plays and this is the one I keep coming back to. They play a lot of different systems with a consistently great group.

Audio addiction
This podcast is amazing. I go through a bunch of podcasts at my job and this is the most amazing. Ross and the gang just make the time go by like a breeze. The humor, the stories, amazing. By far the best podcast by far and for the rpg players out there. This is how smooth gameplay should be. Even the breaks in the story for the comedic break are worth breaking off. IMMERSE ME, ROSS! Lol really check out this podcast. Do it or cthulhu will come eat you. Totes.

Could be better
I like the variety of stuff that they play but what I don't care for is the low audio quality which doesn't allow me to skip all the silence because they're so much static. Also there's just too much yelling as they try and talk over each other for me to really learn anything about the game system. There are definitely better podcasts for that. If you want to learn how to play a game from a podcast then listen to 'you don't meet at an inn'.

Listening to this crew and their antics is always a great time. These lads know how to make for entertaining gaming. If you're not already subscribed you don't know what you're missing.

Best rpg podcasts out there.
I'm listening to wild talents: heroes of new Arcadia series, and I'm loving it. Typically live rpg podcasts frustrate the heck out of me because someone is eating, rolling dice, or screaming close to the microphone. This series avoids all of that. The story line is flat out awesome, and (for the most part) the players to a terrific job role playing and not power gaming. Thanks to everyone involved for putting out such a high class product.

Munchkin Orgy
So annoying to listen to. The players cheat non stop. DM is too soft and just let's the Munchkin Players push him around. They roll for everything, constantly add bonuses that are not applicable, and whine whenever they don't get their way. My advice is find some new players Ross! Your group is pathetic.

I don't know what it is...
I love listening to the games... Especially the Call of Cthulhu sessions. I haven't played in so long it's like listening to my friends when I used to play! Keep it up!

My favorite AP podcast
A great group of gamers with good audio quality playing a whole bunch of different games! What's not to like?

Sigh
Great actual play. Wish there wasn't 3 hours of people chewing and smacking their lips though.
Fauxley1
Great players, great games.
The best actual plays I've found so far.
Jabberwocky007
Great quality AP!
This is a fantastic actual play podcast with diversity in both games and GMs, a great group of role players, and good sound quality. This is easily one of the best on the web! -Dan (IF you are a podcaster, AND, you ask for ratings and reviews, PLEASE support the community, and rate and review the podcasts that you listen to! –Dan@ CarpeGM.net)

Great Storytelling!
I love the delta green episodes, and the entertaining stories are fun. Usually requires familiarity with game rules. Try Bryson Springs episode for great horror.

What!?! Your sleeping? Stop that and play more, more, more...
Ha, the funniest thing Ross said during the pre-game chatting was that he some gaming podcast group noted that the right length of a podcast that their listeners wanted was about an hour and Ross noted that the RPPR listeners wanted, demanded, c raved 3, 4 hours worth a play per podcase and wanted more, more, more! LOL, it is so true. I love this podcast and normally will play it during my 8 mile hikes in the woods. I have lost 30 lbs this year in due part to this podcast. I am hoping for another 30 so keep it up guys. The guys do the horror/suspense games the best. If they made these games into modules I would totally buy them.

And a good time was had by all...
First let me say, God Bless Tom Church. Nobody does robot dinosaur monsters better. (and , well... other monsters too). Even though Ross is a horrible monster his games are always fun, even if the players wind up dead. Keep up the great work! John H

Great Cast!
Strikes a great balance in scale. The community is accessible and engaging and the dedication that Payton and the others show to RPPR offers a wealth of ways to support, connect to, or enjoy the RPPR community.

Great
Just started listening through and this all very entertaining, episode 52 Slenderman was amazing. My one gripe is that the audio quality can St times be poor but not enough to distract me.

Fantastic Podcast
Have listened to most of the podcasts currently available through RPPR. I particularly love the horror, noir and dark sun games; I liked the end of New World but missed too much of it to know the characters. I enjoy all the players and GMs. Honestly might be my favorite Actual Play podcast. keep up the excellent quality and give us more More MORE!!! Thanks guys.

You guys are the best.
For the last couple weeks, you guys have been keeping me entertained with your fantastic game sessions. Cody , thank you for using your mana battery, I was afraid it would be forgotten. You guys keep up the great work. Pussyfarts !!

Great Show!
Distinctive personalities make this show work, even if the obnoxious ones may speak a bit much. Call of Cthulu games are the best.

Awesome
Keep up the awesome uploads.

AP Gold!
The best AP podcast I have found on ITunes. So many excellent episodes to choose from. Be sure to go back and listen to the original feed as well. Lady Gaga V2.0 and Bryson Springs are great choices when you are looking to be entertained. "Night of a thousand broken noses" indeed.....
SteelPenguin1701
The most awesome ever.
RPPR actual plays are what help me get through the day at work. I almost got in trouble for laughing extremely loud at my desk when Cody's robot creation came to life in the latest Monsters and Other Childish Things. If you want something that will entertain you for hours, check these APs out.

Great Fun!
These guys are a hoot to listen to! If ya can't play in a regular game of your own, RPPR actual plays are a good substitute ;) Thx Ross n crew. Keep up the good work.

Better the most
The quality of this podcast is better then most AP's out there, but still its a mic on a table around a bunch of guys, with tons of background noise, and annoying other sounds. I listened to the first couple of episodes, and the guys are very entertaining and fun to listen to with their comments, but the sound quality trumps the goodness that this podcast could be. Sorry, three stars.
