This is my absolute favorite podcast and I love you guys so much. Thanks for making me smile each week. Its really sad to say goodbye but I’m happy to see what you do next.

I enjoyed the podcast for years! I started playing Pokemon go a week or two after it came out and my then fiancé now wife found it annoying. So one car ride after the game had been out a couple months I randomly searched for Pokemon Go on Apple podcasts and told her “there’s even a podcast dedicated to this silly game” in the car as a way annoy/ joke with her. While I was listening, I enjoyed the banter between the brothers, and the knowledge about the game made POGO even more fun, so I kept listening for years, it became one of my favorites! In fact, I liked the podcast so much that i began searching for other podcasts for the games and interests I have, and almost none compared! Even the tangents and talk about family life and all is great!

I love this show because of the feel: friends chatting about Pokémon Go. I use this show to keep up with how people feel about the game. I’m not a deep player, so I love hearing about the spectrum of involvement in this game.

I’ve been listening to hosts Salt & Nar for over a year now and I am constantly entertained by the banter/chemistry these twin brothers bring to the table. While there are a couple other 5 star POGO podcasts, these gentlemen bring the heat every week & have even made themselves accessible to personally contact. And they’re good enough

This is a truly great show the guys are funny and they provide a lot of quality info about the game. One thing is not everyone is as advanced player and has a kangashkan or a Mr.mime or even all the starters so if you could sometimes try and look through the eyes of a causal player and not just pros.

As always, great job guys. Just wanted to mention a small correction. I don’t believe Pidgeot was banned for being “overpowered”, but instead Pidgeot was banned because of an error in which people who didn’t have the newest update were receiving errors when feather dance was used and closing there game, giving the other player a free win.

I love these two I really do they are crazy funny. They will give you updates on what’s going on and what they think of events Pokémon anything. Here’s the but they will get off subject I mean I mean a lot and for a long time. An example “ So shiny pikachu is coming out so if you want yourself walking Cheeto get out there and catch them all, I’m not really a Cheeto man I like Doritos yeah I hear ya but I love regular lays.” This goes for a while and then they get back to the game. I don’t mind it always funny just you have been warned lol. Thanks guys keep it up.

these 2 are hilarious, i love their banter & the special bonus episodes on other topics are super cool & interesting. everything else pokemon go tho!!! which is why im here ! lol they remind me of my brothers , who i dont get to see v often, but a dose of these guys is enough for me!

There’s great information here about PoGo but the hosts often get side-tracked mid-story with jokes and tangents and it makes it hard to follow the information. Was trying to follow the Wayfarer tutorial and every time Dan got started, he got derailed on different topics.

The twin brothers that host this podcast are very easy going and chill. They both are into the game and play regularly. They aren’t rubber stamp love love love or hate hate hate about some of the more controversial elements of the game. I feel like I’m listening to friends talk about the game we all love. And they release the very same day the record so what they talk about is not stale if you listen weekly. (The game changes on the dime sometimes) But still good to listen to past episodes.

I have been playing since October of 2016 and have always enjoyed PoGo. My fiancé and my first episode was when one of the brothers was super drunk (can’t remember which one) and then on the second episode they had to max out a Pidgey and spend all that dust. We were hooked ever since with all the entertainment and humor. We love the show and look forward to it every week. Thanks for doing what you do, we really love your show.

I recently began playing Pokémon Go again after a two year hiatus, and downloaded several different podcasts to get me caught up on all the changes in the game that had happened. While there are a lot of great podcasts devoted to this game, PGR is by far the best. I love everything about it. Salt and Nar are entertaining and engaging (even the sidebars on smoking meat and other subjects are interesting), the banter and puns are super fun, and I feel like I’m listening to friends nerding out with me. I’ve been a listener for a few months now and about a few weeks ago it was suggested that the older episodes are absolutely mandatory to listen to. Despite what I’m assuming are your best efforts to make this task nearly impossible for people such as myself to do, since the YouTube channel only goes as far back as episode 99 and for whatever reason Apple Podcasts only goes back to like October? I might be stupid BUT I’ve been able to find ALL of the episodes on Spotify. You might ask why I would do such a thing (Salt, I’m looking at you) and I’ll tell you. I’ve only been playing Pokémon Go since October of 2017, and as such I missed out on the craze that was 2016 Pokémon Go. Going back and listening gave me a great point of reference to the early days of the game and while some of the information is outdated, it’s fun to compare the current-day game to what it was when it originally came out. Additionally it gives me a chance to pass the time at work and for this I am more than eternally grateful. Salt, Nar, you two have created an amazing podcast. You’re entertaining, you’re informative, and as soon as each episode is made available on Sunday nights I’m there listening to the insightful? impactful? legendary? things you two have to say about this game. Keep on doing what you’re doing, much love.

I love listening to these guys. I’m in love with pogo... and in a world where everything is so heavy right now- to have a nice light podcast about catching Pokémon and having a good time with a community that is getting us through 2020- is just everything I needed. Thanks Nard and SALT. Keep it up! (Also, would love some of those smoked meat recipes!!)

Also... Forretress is secretly Nar’s favorite Pokémon! I was told this would be read if I left 5 stars. I expect your end of the bargain to be upheld and Nar has to read this review! Either that, or Salt has to be given unbelievable guff for making such outlandish claims and for being such a review shill!

You guys asked for it! So it’s only appropriate that I ask a question. Do you think PVP could ever be a national sport? 🤷🏼‍♂️ also if it was a national sport what would the go snack bar food be? I’m thinking all the food should be shaped like pokemon. PS this is twin Trent from the emails.

I came here to say that I was targeted for an instagram add selling toilet bowl cleaners. I instantly recognized the song as the intro to this podcast. Everywhere.Shopping silicone brush... coincidence? Anyway your podcast is trash and you both should feel bad. I suggest going into more detail on the meat smoking. You could rebrand and title it something like, “Pokésmoke Go Radio” subtext: slow and low... on the go?

This podcast helps me get through my Monday mornings so much easier. Keep doing what you guys do!!

Gentlemen, I just listened to your bbq/smoked meat episode and not only is my mouth watering from your spot-on descriptions of the multitudinous ways of preparing delicious meats but I am reminded once again (I never really forgot) that you two are truly a national treasure. In these trying times especially, we all could use a healthy dose of SALT and Nar in our ear holes. Easily the best Pokémon podcast. Been listening for a year now and can’t get enough! I just wish they’d reupload the old episodes. it’s fun to re-listen and hear how much has changed.

I work as a teacher in an urban district, so when you talk about how bad it is and then call the Switch Lite the “Nintendo Switch for Poor People” it irks me, quite a bit. When you have a platform like this you really need to measure your words more carefully. You don’t know who or what your audience is. Just because people are experiencing poverty doesn’t mean they deserve a lesser product. Be more responsible and respectful next time.

Been listening to Pokemon Go Radio since before the days of PvP and I’m impressed by the amount of content these two have been there to provide context for the community through. I love seeing a new episode is out and grabbing my headphones to escape from the pesky work day to hear about updates in the game, pvp tips (basically What not to do) and I have recently joined their patreon subscription and am an active member on their discord, where I already feel more connected with a few members than my own loser friends who stopped playing the greatest game of all time. Thank you guys for all the hard work and keep on trucking! If I am able to work Go Fest in Chicago this year I expect to be interviewed for the pod if you’re there!

You guys are amazing! As a full time Pokémon Trainer with College student responsibilities I don’t have the time to be all over the “what’s new?” The PGR group delivers the information in a great and entertaining way. It makes my Monday commute doable!

Not trying to be mean: but the constant inside jokes that are not funny, combined with the meaningless puns, just make me roll my eyes constantly. When either of the brothers do the show on their own, it’s actually pretty good. The fact that 3 years later they still refer to themselves by their pseudo names and not their real names is also kind of like.... really guys? Not a big deal. Again another that’s not that big of deal, but how can you not know that shiny Mewtwo has not been in the game as of this post? If you don’t know that, then obviously you don’t follow the game close enough to have a podcast about it.
