Like chatting with a wise friend ❤️
SPF is my all-time favorite podcast. It’s my go-to for rich content that includes genuine challenge and encouragement in gospel living. Lauren is genuine, engaging, does not shy away from strong biblical values, and is simultaneously knowledgeable and so down-to-earth. I love that Lauren so often shares what she herself has been learning about and that she provides quality resources/references to books/sermons/scripture passages for further study on the topic. Sometimes I listen to other podcasts and feel like shouting at my phone “Just get to the content!!!” I never have that problem with Lauren—the content so rich and good, and any non-content related stories feel like chatting with a dear friend. I’ve been listening to SPF for over a year and have recommended it to several other women. I pray the Lord continues to bless you and your family, and that He continues to bless and prolong your effective ministry!

Great podcast!
(First time leaving a review!) I have been listening to the She Proves Faithful podcast for a few years now, I don’t even remember how I came across it but I’m so thankful I did! Lauren’s passion for the Gospel is so evident and she does a wonderful job of explaining some of the deeper lessons and meanings of God’s word that I wouldn’t otherwise get from my own studying. Thank you Lauren for being an inspirational voice of truth and light and spreading the glory of the Lord. ❤️🙏

Reformed and biblically minded.
First podcast I started following and even support financially. Wonderful stories and lessons of a reformed Christian woman’s life. Lauren is a great role model. Very down to earth and honest about her flaws.

A MUST for a dose of conviction and encouragement!!!
I LOVE this podcast. As a young woman, I find this podcast to be convicting yet encouraging when it comes to living a life that glorified God! All Christina women - no matter the age, season of life, or occupation - can benefit from listening to this podcast!!!

Excellent for Growing in Godliness
Lauren speaks the Truth fearlessly in every episode. I have matured greatly over the years of listening to her podcast. If you’re looking for a podcast that is unapologetic about the Gospel, living with a biblical worldview, or how to be a Christian woman/wife/mother, this is the one!!

What a blessing!
So happy to have found this podcast! Lauren isn’t afraid to broach the unpopular opinion and sticks to her biblical knowledge, such a rarity! Love her humor and practical skills as well. This is a delightful addition to my days.

Highly recommended!
I found She Proves Faithful while training for a marathon last year, and it quickly became the soundtrack to all of my long runs. I can remember walking in the door after my longest run (where I ended up listening to 5 episodes in a row!) and rushing over to my notebook to write down everything I’d learned. Lauren is an amazing teacher and I always look forward to new episodes. Thank you Lauren, we appreciate all you do!

Finally a great podcast speaking truth! Love it!
I just found this podcast today because I was searching for a Christian podcast and prayed to find one that didn’t avoid or water down the truth of scripture but also was speaking of today’s issues in alignment with what Scripture says. I do appreciate your honesty, boldness, and especially standing up for you the lives of so many babies who can’t. It’s so refreshing to hear someone speaking about what we practice and live out in my household and being a woman of God by Gods standards and no one else. I will be sharing this podcast with all my friends!

Absolutely wonderful!
I thoroughly look forward to every new episode of this podcast. I have listened to every episode and started going back to episode one so that I could listen again. Lauren always points her listeners back to Scripture. I have been so encouraged and inspired to live more faithfully for the Lord because of these episodes. And, as a side note, Lauren is hilarious and always provides a great life hack or two in each episode. 😃 Highly recommend!

Gospel-centered teaching for women who want to learn
I love this podcast for so many reasons. First and foremost, it recognizes the authority of scripture. That it is sufficient and inerrant. Lauren does an excellent job researching her material and does not bend scripture or take it out of context to support her point. Second, she teaches the FULL gospel which does include recognizing our sinful nature. We are sinners in need of a savior. Denying we are sinful negates the need for Jesus, and yet, unfortunately, that is the popular message right now. Lauren also reminds us that all things are for Gods glory alone. Again, not the popular opinion these days when the mainstream is telling people they can run their own world with “my truth” statements. I think the biggest reason I’m drawn to this podcast is because Lauren treats women as equal when it comes to learning theology. I get so frustrated that Christian women resources are often more emotionally driven. We want to learn history. We want to have deep theology. We aren’t princesses of the King for display; we are ambassadors and warriors too. We need to be fully equipped and Lauren does a great job of bringing a wide range of topics. Id like to offer my perspective in response to some of the other reviews. I am a childless, married woman of Hispanic ethnicity and I don’t feel marginalized at all by this podcast. Yes, Lauren is going to talk about life (in a real way :) and that includes her kids, husband, and her experiences. We all do that! Just like if you talk to me I’m not going to give a lot of stories about being a mother. It doesn’t mean I’m ignoring my friends with kids or can’t relate to them on the million other things we have in common. Also, when I accepted Jesus as my savior I took on a new identity which supersedes all other things about me. So as all daughters of the Almighty, this is what matters.

Love she proves faithful!
Wow!!! This podcast came into my life a just the right moment! I love how she does not sugar coat the word of the Bible and doesn’t twist the meaning of the word so that it makes us feel good. I also love how relatable Lauren is. She is so honest when speaking about her sin that it makes me feel more comfortable talking about my sin. Thank you Lauren you are a true inspiration!

Why I like it
Lauren’s matter of fact way of describing her life experiences and teaching what she’s learned through a Biblical lens gives me a lot of encouragement and hope. I often gravitate toward people who relate to my sins or depression or other versions of hardship in my life. I think I pull my own beloved friends down in this way by thinking and speaking negatively. I clothe this approach to life with the reasoning and logic of being “humble” and “honest,” but lately it’s occurring to me I can be just flat-out pessimistic and that’s not biblical or helpful. I’m glad I have found company with this podcast that my misery doesn’t love. Thank you, Lauren, for sharing your victories/blessings in a way I’m not tempted to be envious, and your struggles within the honest terms of “I/we need to/are working on this.” I hope this mindset rubs off on me as I listen more. Really practical and applicable teaching too. You have made life seem lighter for me today. Your gift of encouragement and passion to uplift other believing women like me is shining brightly.

Wonderful podcast for women desiring a gospel centered home. Love the wisdom and truth spoken here.

LOVE
This podcasts is jam-packed with TRUTH> feelings! Very wise guidance no definitely has amazing insight into walking with Christ- it’s obvious Progressive Christians disagree with her which confirms that she’s biblically based (lol) She nips the distractions of today’s culture and society in the bud and stays where truth is- the Word of God. We may not share the same opinions on certain things but where it matters- SHE SHINES! It’s so hard to find a good Christian women’s podcast that keeps God the made topic and isn’t just full of superficial, feel-good temporary things and pushing the world’s agenda- if you are interested in that instead of furthering your relationship with God: look elsewhere! Thank you for an awesome podcast! :)

Check your privilege
If you identify as white, straight, evangelical Christian, this is probably for you. If you’re not, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Especially consider “Reclaiming my Theology”, “Inverse”, and/or “Be the Bridge” podcasts. As a young white single woman who was wanting to find more practices to be closer with Christ, I was hopeful for this podcast. However, so much of what is talked about on here is defining yourself in relation to others, specifically as a mother figure. This is not a bad thing but simply not relatable to me as a single/unmarried person. Some negative aspects of the show: throughout the episodes there is a lot of white privilege and misunderstanding of what feminism has helped in giving the “modern” woman (ie someone who chooses a different life, or doesn’t have the luxury of being a housewife, or even is non-heteronormative) an equal playing field. For people who are married and/or have children there might be more relatable material in this show or interesting ideas on what to do with kids. Since I first started listening nearly two years ago to this podcast, I’ve met and become engaged to an Indigenous Christian man. Getting to know him has really opened my eyes to the violent genocide that was sanctioned by the Christian church upon the natives of this land. I am in the process of repenting for my complicity in white supremacy and no longer think it is appropriate to ignore or not include marginalized peoples in our conversations, since Jesus himself was one. In the end, I’m choosing to unsubscribe because I’ve found other resources that more holistically integrate biblical narratives in modern issues from Indigenous and peoples of color, like the podcasts I mentioned earlier.

Best Podcast
I am quite new to her, but I have started all the way back to episode 1. I'm listening to every one of them because they are truly that AMAZING! So insightful, inspirational, and uplifting. She is real and raw, and doesn't pretend to be anything she is not. I relate to so much she says and I learn SO much from her! Hands down the best podcast I have ever heard!!!!

“Loving our husbands”
What’s with the assumption the listener is a wife (and of course a mother)? Christians do a terrible job at including singles. #marriedprivelege Also, inviting Allie Stuckey? Yuck.

Doesn’t understand actual feminism
I just listened to an episode about feminism and she doesn’t get it. Feminism allowed her to go to college, vote, and more. Feminists don’t want to be God. They want equality in pay, jobs, etc. She doesn’t get that.

A must listen
One of my absolute favorite podcasts. She speaks truth in a world that loves lies. For a young mom she has so much wisdom that I wish I had at that point in my life.

So thankful for SPF!
I started listening to She Proves Faithful at the beginning of the year and it has been so amazing. I listen probably 3-4 times a day and find so much encouragement through Lauren and the Truth she speaks. I love how absolutely raw and real she is. It has really helped my perspective and helped me live a more Gospel centered life. Thank you Lauren for your dedication to this podcast and to the women you are reaching through it!!!

Good overall podcast
I started listening to this podcast as a Christian early in my walk with God and I quit listening due to a disagreement with some content now a few years later I’m back and I’ve grown to realize that just because I don’t agree with every single detail there is a lot of wisdom and some great points to be absorbed from this podcast.

Love this podcast!
I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to post a review but I absolutely love this podcast. I feel as though I have matured a lot in my faith since tuning in. Lauren is a wonderful host that keeps it real!

Very surprised
I listened to episode 168 and I’m so displeased. When you state that we’ve experienced decades of peace this is not acknowledging POC who have experienced injustice for centuries and continue to do so. Let us not forget that it’s the white Christian church who came to America and annihilated a whole group of indigenous people for their beliefs. I don’t see Christians experiencing hardships in the years to come. I see people finally being held accountable for their racial profiling and POC finally having a voice. I see a country finally uniting after 4 years of division. Definitely will not be recommending this podcast and unsubscribing.

Excellent Christian podcast for women!
I’m a new listener but have especially appreciated the relevant topics and thoughtful approach to difficult subjects. Lauren stays true to scripture and does well pointing listeners back to the gospel! Highly recommend!

Love your content!
I love her content and her great personality. She doesn’t take extensive time to talk about random stuff which is nice. She’s very to the point, delivers her topics with grace and relevance to the scriptures. Women need theology too! And Lauren does a great job of addressing topics from a woman’s perspective and applying the scripture and a biblical worldview to relevant issues. Great job! Keep it up!

Ep. 164 Politics! 😮
Lauren, thank you so much for the episode on politics. She gave some very clear and concise information and guidance that I desperately needed to hear! Sometimes it’s hard to stay focused on what matters most when political noise and chaos is at its peak. She definitely helped to clarify some things for me!

Wrong Teaching
SPF 159: at 18:00 minutes says, that there are multiple judgements, one judgement non-believers will face (absolutely true I agree with) other judgements believers will go through (some will others wont). The “judgement seat” is actually called Bema Seat. Study it in the original Koine Greek. It’s the judgement seat of CHRIST. EPHESIANS states believers are located in Christ. Read 1 Cor 3:13-15; 2 Cor. 5:10-11. It’s an evaluation seat, it’s nothing to be scared of. Christ paid it all for the believer, he was our substitute on the cross, our propitiation. He justified us making us guilt free. Why would God then have to “judge us again” read Romans 6:1. Our old nature has been crucified with Christ. Why would God “judge” his beautiful bride? Song of Solomon 4:7

Disappointing
I was so disappointed in this pod cast, I was really enjoying it and getting a lot out of it. I wonder why Christian woman exclude lesbian woman. We are Christian too. So disappointing.
softballhirl1975
Yes! Listen to this podcast!
If you are looking for a real gospel-centered podcast this is it. I love the real-ness and theme of repentance that is repeated over and over because let’s face it- we sin over and over and we are overwhelmingly blessed with a Creator Savior who forgives so believe him, repent, and then move forward, doing whatever He’s given you to do. I just recently found this podcast and am enjoying going back to the beginning and listening to every episode. I use podcasts to help keep my mind from wandering to untrue things when I am home alone (which is a lot these days) So so thankful for these golden nuggets of truth and practical advice amidst the real commentary of everyday life. Lauren, altho I am your age, my life is totally different and yet all the content of your podcasts encourages and exhorts me where I am at (and ladies, that because truth is truth for everyone, everywhere, all the time). Oh and I love how you end with “let me pray for you”, thank you.

Wonderful; Just wonderful
There are a lot of Christian Women Podcasters around but I feel like she just resonates with me. Every episode taps into a worry I have and just diminishes it by setting me on the right path. Her heart is so big and I can tell just how much she truly loves the Lord. What a wonderful spirit. It’s like talking to a really good friend. I pray for her and her family’s wellbeing. All women of all ages should listen to her as she covers some really important topics and can help you if you truly aren’t sure which way to go next. Bless you ALL!!!!

Grateful
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a little over a year now and it has been such a blessing to me. I’ve been so encouraged by your words and scripture and have learned so much. I am also so grateful you shared your story of your lost babies. My husband and I have had three miscarriages in the past year and in a time of grief and despair your story and words of encouragement have given me so much hope! Thank you Lauren! God is doing great things through you.

In the description box, the incorrect “it’s” was used towards the end of the description. “It’s meaty and bite sized etc” should be “Its meaty and bite sized etc”, as the sentence is referring to the podcast as “it”.
