A true light in my life!
This podcast is so great! It has brought me so much knowledge and has fostered spiritual and personal growth in my life. The lack of intro was jarring at first, I would rewind a couple times to make sure I didn’t miss something. Now that I am used to it and I understand that it’s intentional, I really appreciate it. I am able to learn everything about the guest naturally through the conversation with no preface to color my judgement. Matt, thank you for providing a healthy and admirable example of masculinity, I know that you have helped me grow as a man personally and I know it’s something that is much needed in our culture.

Absolutely Awesome
One of the best Catholic Podcasts I’ve ever listened to. Great content, always God-centered, and inspiring.

Thank You, from an Anglican
Good afternoon, I have been listening to your show ever since my friend sent me the Fr.Carlos Martins episode last July. I had just started my journey away from freemasonry, after being elected an officer in my lodge. I wanted to know why I was supposed to hate Catholics so much. I walked away from the lodge life, and away from my oentecostal church, after encountering your show, and church taking a Hillsdale college class on church history. You may no be as pleased to find out that I wound up as an Anglican. My diocese is the most Anglo-Catholic diocese in the ACNA, and the relationship with the local churches if better with the Roman Catholic then the Episcopal. But as an Anglican, and an Anglo-Catholic specifically, I can appreciate the more Roman leanings that y'all have, and I still respect the Pope as the Roman Primate. Because of that, your show has opened me up to a wealth of information, and helped me in my personal walk with Christ. After the Fr. Augustine Wetta episode, I began discerning the Order of Saint Benedict, and am working on becoming an Oblate of the Order. I would love to talk to you sometime about the Anglican tradition. Thank you for what you do! N.T. Carlson

Thank you
Thank you Matt for this wonderful gift of this show. My brother told me about it and you wonderful work against pornography. This show has brought me closer to Christ and to the sacraments. Added bonus was I grew up Byzantine Catholic and have always been a little disappointed about Roman Rites not even knowing of our existence within the church. So excellent to have you in the Byzantine Rite. We attend St. Therese of Lisieux in St.Petersburg Florida so if you are ever on vacation in Florida feel free to come by for Divine Liturgy. I’m a little embarrassed to admit I started at episode 1 around Christmas time 2024 and I’ve already made it to episode 96 because it’s been so captivating. Love the beauty of St. Thomas and how simple he puts everything and you have been a gift sharing his work in this easy to understand vessel.

Love Matt Fradd
This is just an excellent podcast all around. Matt has been instrumental in opening up the Catholic faith to me and turning me from Protestantism to the Church. Bonus having Fr. Gregory Pine and Mthr. Natalia on as well. I’ve been especially getting so much from Mthr. Natalia lately. Cheers and God Bless this ministry!

Always glad I listened
Thank you Mother Natalia for the wonderful, thoughtful, truthful podcast on compassion and what it means. I received a life changing perspective as we enter into Holy Week.

Honest from a lady follower
My husband got me hooked on Pints With Aquinas. I prefer shorter episodes ~45-60 minutes, because time. But if I have a long drive without kids I will “binge” one episode haha. I personally do not enjoy listening to the mother Natalia series but do love the fr Gregory pine cameos. However I would prefer they get their own podcasts if not only so that my queue isn't packed with extra material I do or don’t want.. ie mother Natalia is too emotional for me.

I’m a long time fan but I’ve been listening a little less with Matt’s new platform of guests. But there are several powerful shows that I go back to and enjoy many times and the latest with Jimmy Aiken is one of those . This is the platform that Matt does best…a great guest and a lengthy, intellectual dive into the corners of Catholic theology and culture. This Lent I will be watching again, for the 10th time, Matt’s interview with Fr Andrew Dalton and the Shroud of Turin, truly the most moving and meaningful presentation on the Passion of Christ ever made. I also enjoy the shows featuring Mother Natalia and Fr Pine, just wish they were a bit longer . I pray that God will continue to bless Matt and Cameron and their family and crew, who all elevate the Catholic faith and lovingly share the gospel…would love to see more with our good priests and bishops.

Yes indeed, Matt, I listened to the full Jimmy Akin episode. I wouldn’t have missed a minute. I could listen to him all day every day for the rest of my life and be thrilled about it. Thanks for the epic episode with the great Jimmy Akin! God bless you and yours.

5 star - with one caveat!
Really love this podcast! I’ve learned so much as a Protestant with Catholic curiosity. My only pushback is that it would be super helpful if Matt would allow the guests to flesh out their full ideas before asking new questions or changing the subject. They’re on here because you’re giving them a voice, and we’re so grateful, but please (with full grace) let them speak more without interruptions :)

I listen to every episode all the way through.
This podcast has renewed my Catholic faith. I was Protestant for a couple years and finding pints with aquinas ended that. Matt and his guests are a lantern in the darkness.

No chance, Matt reads this, but Matt often says no one listens to entire episodes, but I can assure you. We do.

Love it
Edit: 3 years later. I have respect for Carrie Gress’s Theology of Home project and enjoyed the interview. But could you please also invite Erika Bachiochi on to offer a different perspective on the historical arc of feminism and how it is relevant to catholics today. I grew up Protestant and Pints with Aquinas is one of the many factors that has led me to seek conversion to catholicism. Thank you for your excellent conversations and intellectual approach to the faith, as well as your love for Christ

Done with this show
As a devout Catholic and long time listener I find this podcast has become far more detrimental and divisive than what the underlying objective originally was. Liberal and conservative focused Catholic content is harming the faith, where the hosts can’t seem to see how secular influences have corrupted their views and content, and this falls into that category. Very disappointed in where it started vs where it is now.

Let us be careful not to forsake compassion.
I love Pints with Aquinas and listen regularly, however I would like to hear issues like homosexuality and transgenderism be handled with a little more compassion. We all misuse sex. Those of us who are lucky enough to have been born into this fallen world with a clear sense of sexual identity should thank God for that and pray for those who are struggling with dysphoria. Our aim as Christians is not to win political battles or abolish all sin. Our goal is to love our neighbors and welcome them into receiving the same grace that has been gifted to us. It is not us and them. It is US, all in this together.

Great Catholic Resource from a world class speaker
Matt is as entertaining as he is informative! Great show done by a master podcaster.

Ex-abortionist podcast
This podcast needs to be heard by everyone, which reveals the truth about abortion. It was good for me to hear as a fellow Catholic physician as well, especially in a culture of “medicine” that is getting more difficult to practice within the scope of my faith without scorn from my peers.

95% love the show
This show has often inspired me to holiness, deeper thinking, and love for Christ. My one complaint is this: Matt, no need to make comments about “crazy charismatics who need permission from their leader to buy a car”. Your love for Christ is clear but the more you put fuel on a make-believe battle between traditional Catholics and charismatic Catholics, the bigger the divide becomes. I am charismatic and live in a flourishing community much like Steubenville. I love my traditional Catholics brothers and sisters. Matt and Thursday, please make an effort to bring unity in the church and be mindful of making derogatory comments about charismatic Catholics. Thank you and keep up the good work!

INFORMATIVE AND MUCH NEEDED PODCAST
Matt, You do an excellent job. Eventually if you don’t end up on a TV slot. You can start another podcast … yes that sounds greedy on my part, but I’m cruel … keep up the great work!

Sometimes good, sometimes very much not
Don’t think his new young gen z producer has been a good influence on him. Wish this show was more about Catholicism and less a cosplay of shows by the daily wire. Is it necessary for Thursday to wear his guńs on the YouTube version of the show? The culture wars between a small contingent of chronically online trads are such a niche thing, most everyday Catholics are too busy trying to serve their communities and parishes to give them as much attention as this show obsessively does. It’s like the bigger this show gets, the less humility the hosts have despite really wanting to believe that they are. I say this as an imperfect sinner myself, albeit one without a platform, because I think this show has potential to be much better than it is but is also in danger of being derailed from its mission. having guests who praised the confederacy and not challenging them is wrong. It is literally in the individual states’ declaration of secession that they left the union to preserve the “right” to own slaves.

Praising Confederacy on 9/22/23 Alan Harrelson Podcast
Towards the end of the 9/22/23 Alan Harrelson episode, Alan Harrelson explicitly stated that he named his firstborn son after Confederate President Jefferson Davis! I rewinded it because I could not believe what I’d heard, because Davis led people in fighting a war to keep black people enslaved. Alan went on to describe how he essentially looked up to Davis. Matt Fradd and Thursday said nothing to condemn such blatant racism! They also edited the episode and published it!! What a shameful representation of Christianity!!!! I am very disappointed.

Honest Review
I like the show, No it’s not a replacement for reading your Bible, it’s just good conversation. If your looking for solid learning content I suggest “Sensus Fidelium” episodes with Fr Ripperger. Yet, this show does bear good fruit in my life, I find myself being more humble and realizing I am an idiot, and all the good successes in my life are by the grace of God. (I’m 23 years old, from California)

Legalistic
This is such a terrifying and legalistic take on Catholicism. Matt is incredibly smart but unfortunately lacks wisdom, compassion and nuance in his arguments. Catholicism is full of beauty, but somehow that is lost in this podcast.

Excellent Catholic Podcast
Matt does an excellent job giving us a reliable, faithful, authentic and honest Catholic podcast. He has some great interviews and shares great information and insights.

Meh
Sometimes his guests are very interesting. But Matt himself is a very unlikable person. He’s very self-righteous and uncompassionate, and seems disingenuous in the moments when he’s trying to feign compassion and or holiness. I’m starting to adopt the word beautiful whenever I’ve stopped, listening to someone as an imitation of Matt Fradd. But mostly he seems self-absorbed and narcissistic I feel like he does a good job of giving people ammunition against religious people.

Pints vs. Catching foxes
I got in an argument with my husband over which podcast is better. I tend to love CF and my husband loves Pints. Great shows! Thanks y’all!

So much fluff & filler
Some good content and interviews, but the listener has to wade through so much garbage it’s not worth it. Matt must think he’s the Joe Rogan of the Catholic world, he’s not. Get to the point Matt, you could easily trim most of these episodes by a third without losing any content.

Conversion
I began listening to Pints as a student at a Protestant Seminary, I am leaving as a Catholic. This showed played a huge role in my conversion. Please pray for me and my family through a difficult and scary career change. Our Lord and our lady are worth it. Ave Christus Rex

He is witty and engaging. Thank you for sharing the truths of Catholicism and introducing us to fascinating individuals

Lila Rose interview
I like this podcast in general but was really put off by Matt’s reaction to Lila Rose. The part where he derailed her personal observations on anxiety to badger her about the definition of anxiety (an extraordinarily commonplace term) seemed petty and condescending. He came off as rude.

Good but too conservative
Pretty good with amazing production value but man this guy really believes some crazy conservative conspiracy nonsense.

Catholic to the core
My favorite show……..tv, radio or podcast. I don’t miss an episode. You are Catholic to the core and I want to thank you for your ministry and giving me content to lead me to heaven. So thankful and appreciative of what you do!!!!! You are the best podcaster there is!!!!! You’re like Joe Rogan but better, your podcasts entertain and lead to eternal life.

The Dennis Prager debate
I loved this. Way to go, Matt! Thank you for being so eloquent and firm concerning the dignity of the human (particularly of women, this debate), and how even “something so minor” as Playboy can be detrimental. Dare I say, it is, perhaps the gateway to what led us to the violent, vastly more intense pornography that is rampant in our world today… I like Dennis Prager, and I think he has done a lot of good in his work to influence our culture in a positive way, but I was disappointed that he felt so strongly on this. It seems overall, there are fundamental agreements, but why do the differences still seem prominent? Once again, thank you for clear, logical, and also compassionate representation of Catholics on this issue. My husband and I listened together in the evening, and we were cheering for you. -Raeanne

Excellent but why no Lutherans?
I love this podcast. My one issue is why when debating “Protestants” do they not talk to traditional Lutherans like from the LCMS? The convincing points came from Luther, not the Reformation piggybackers who threw everything out the window. Whenever they discuss other Protestants besides Lutherans, I just dismiss it because other Protestants literally believe anything their reason creates.

Great Podcast
If you are looking for discussion of St. Thomas Aquinas’ teachings, they I recommend you look at the old episodes. You can sort from oldest to newest and then you can see all of the original podcast episodes discussing theology. The newer episodes are less theologically focused and are much closer to catholic political and social commentary. That is fine but not quite what I was looking for and the old episodes deliver perfectly.

Really enjoying the Thursday episodes
I am really enjoying the mini episodes with Thursdays. Even the spazzy ones 😂 this episode jumping around between Pope Francis and king of the hill and Aquinas is so funny--I appreciate you guys!
I used to love this...
Bring back the original theme song!!
I have been listening since the beginning. I’m so glad you’re bringing back Summa articles! I’d love to hear the original theme song though. It’s a nice dose of PWA nostalgia!
