I started listening when it was the P&B show. Now listening to The Mental wealth show and hearing a black man be so raw and vulnerable with his emotions and talk so openly about his healing journey is next level!!!

I was a longtime P&B listener, but Rich this show is it! Thank you for sharing your journey and transformation. The work you are doing is much needed.

Rich has a way with words .. that just get you inspired! His new podcast will no doubt be a huge success.

I’ve listened to Rich for a few years and had the pleasure of seeing him speak a few times. He drops a ton of knowledge every episode and I’m excited for the path of his rebranded show!

This show is excellent! Rich’s humility and genuine desire to help folks with his work is very evident. He is a great host and asks his guests the right questions to help provide a clear picture for the listeners. I also enjoy his sense of humor! Only downside is that I am just now discovering this podcast! I’ve signed up for his audio training “ Change your Day Job” and feel encouraged that it will help me prepare to make my next career move!

I truly enjoy the focus Rich has on mental health and really appreciate his honesty, openness and the vulnerability that he shares along the way. The interviews and conversations are excellent and thought provoking. I highly recommend his show!

I’ve been binging P&B episodes the past few weeks snd love it. Rich provides great insights, asks the right questions, and provides a great atmosphere where he and his guests are able to be more open and vulnerable than in other settings. It’s a refreshing take on personal finance, entrepreneurship, mental health, and everyday life.

This podcast is getting too messy for me. Ima be out ✌🏾. This was once my fav podcast however this podcast has become a mess and is very disappointing to see this outcome.

I like the new format. The personal interviews are like mini case studies. Even if the show has a topic, the biographical style of the interviews gives them great range and offers great advice.

I like this podcast because of all the different kinds of people they interview; I’ve written down books, subscribed to other podcasts, etc as the result of hearing about some great people thru these guys. They do a great job connecting listeners with experts in different areas of business

Been a fan for a while now. Stumbled across this podcast randomly about a year ago only to discover the host is someone I worked with back in the day - he was making great content then and I guess old habits die hard. Great interviews and guests.

This podcast came up as a suggestion in Apple Podcasts and I am so glad it came up! These guys are so honest and real about finances in the midst of a pandemic and racial inequality. They offer a wide range of guests (and solo episodes) that address a wide range of financial topics. I guarantee that no matter what your goals are you will find something here that can help you! Sprinkled among all of this serious and important information are relatable and funny stories and tips. Definitely worth your time to listen!

The concepts I’ve been introduced to through Paychecks & Balances have been nothing short of life-changing. Before P&B, I really didn’t know anything about the FIRE community. For so long in my life, I connected financial security to having a “good job,” and that created a lot of anxiety around employment and retirement. Rich and Marcus, along with the great guests they bring on the show, introduced me to the concept of finding financial value beyond what I bring to an employer. I realized that I can’t rely on someone else for true security—I have to create it for myself.

First started listening to these two a year ago and I’ve binged a lot of the episodes since then. I live in Bermuda so I can’t apply everything they talk about but the concepts, the guests - it’s all relatable and I apply what I can. Love these guys, plus the deep voices don’t hurt! Makes it that much more enjoyable to listen to.

I honestly want to that y'all. When I first started listening to your podcast my finances were out of control, I couldn't quite figure out how to budget and I was living paycheck to paycheck. One episode, you had a financial advisor on (I can't remember which one), who plugged YNAB as the budget tracking tool. I tried it and it completely changed my finanical life. Then you had Erin Lowry on from Broke Millenial, and my life was changed again. I went from ~25k of debt a few years ago to being on track to pay it off by September of this year. I still listen to yall and reccommmend you to anyone who asks. I wish you all the best of luck in your careers.

Hey guys, I just listened to your podcast after the tragic news of Kobe Bryant and his daughter’s untimely death. It struck a chord for me. You guys were processing the news as I think a lot of us “common folks” were processing the news. I’ve enjoyed listening to you guys talk about financial literacy for about a year now. One of the best financial podcasts out! I love that both hosts do not engage in the 9-5 shaming! Financial freedom looks different for everyone, and this podcast provides multiple tools for each person or family to get there! The transparency with their own financial journey is refreshing and they always have great guests. Keep it up!

Loving being part of the P&B community. Wow learning so much and the perfect way to kickstart 2020. Marcus&Rich are real, chill & smart - just the inspiration I need to stop making excuses. Zimbabwe has been in a huge economic mess the past 20years, but listening to this podcast, I realised that all working people are in the same boat worldwide = governments and systems generally will take the most money they can from you. 2020 I’m making smarter choices about money and making it work for me. Thanks guys! Keep it going. You are making a bigger impact than you realise.

Been a fan for a while, just haven't left a review! This is one of my fave personal finance podcasts :)

I fell In love with this show because of the great advice and the lighthearted take on personal finance from 2 AA men. It’s an entertaining podcast about finances, which is hard to find! I feel as if lately the hosts have taken a huge step back and don’t give their opinions much anymore but instead every episode features someone that we don’t know much about. I’ve grown to trust the advice of the hosts with a some advice from guests (loved the budgetnista episode) but lately it’s all advice from guests. I find myself skipping episodes completely because I’m not interested in the guest or giving the guest a chance but stopping halfway through when the conversation begins to feel like I’m listening to an audiobook. The content is great! But it’s not as entertaining as it once was.

After listening to a couple of episodes I knew I wanted to subscribe to this podcasts for my own personal development.

I absolutely love this show. I tell everyone that about it especially when we start to talk about money. This podcast is a must listen to. But don’t stop with just listening to the podcast, subscribe, read the articles and use the tools. But my question is this. Of all the people that I have listened to on your podcast I don’t recall any of your guest being a single mom. Can you please have a guest on that is a single mom. Someone that talked about how they got out of debt as a single mom without having to move and starve. How can I be successful at this financial life?

I stumbled upon this podcast Searching for some help about financial freedom and majority of all other podcasts I would run into were ones I can’t relate to I’m not in a wealthy tax bracket I don’t own real estate, I’m not married with 2 incomes I don’t have the six-figure income etc. I’m just a millennial making the average salary with average credit card debt student loan debt looking for a way out the dumb mistakes made as a young adult, these guys show you and tell you how they keep it real and then make those some laughs in between love it!!!!
