I would have loved to hear the husband get to complete a sentence. Quit interrupting your guests please

Please don’t interview your children on pod
I love the show but please don’t put your children on the pod. They are not yet as articulate or as compelling as the standards you have set for this show.

I’ve learned so much…
Finally trying out the paying upgrade and I’m looking forward to more. And it’s a great pod to discuss with the friends who turned me into it. I love the reminders to be compassionate, to listen, to not dig into the binary story others might want us to buy into. Everyone of us can use a little grace from time to time. And, new perspectives are more than welcome in my world.

Balanced and refreshing!
This has been my consistent source of information for over 4 years now. Sarah and Beth are knowledgeable, well-researched, humble and, most-importantly, they care. The balance between their opinions is always a refreshing slice of perspective… I look forward to every episode (free and premium) like the new episode of a series.

You won’t regret it !
Sarah and Beth are incredibly well researched, thoughtful podcasters. I have looked forward to all their episodes for 3+ years now. A great community to process news and world events.

My week is incomplete without this podcast
I’ve been listening to this podcast for about four years now. I love the variety, the combination of explaining the news and politics and personal reflections that are “outside the DC beltway” but informed and truly nuanced. The best episodes are when I both agree and disagree with both hosts. Sarah and Beth.

Was looking for for some neutral commentary. This show is grossly screwed left and has disrespectful opinions of anyone outside of their box.
Choochie110
Garbage
I tried to be open minded and was happy to see a “republican” on the show but it’s just two liberal white women who speak in riddles. Gross

Excellence in Every Episode
The tagline is that Sarah and Beth take a different approach to the news and while that is true it doesn’t really capture the essence of this amazing duo. When breaking news happens, this is where I turn for processing of the event. Specifically their coverage of Israel and Gaza, in the podcast and the premium channel, have been incredibly beneficial to me as I digest the many facets of this humanitarian event. Sarah and Beth also grapple with just regular life questions and take you with them. They make me think about all the angles of an issue - which is a rarity. I really look forward to listening to them during the week.

Thank you!
In a world of extremes, these ladies bring nuance back to political conversations. I’m relieved to hear middle of the road, balanced views on events that make sense for once. This is the first place that I have found this. Thank you so much!

After many years of exploring lots of other podcasts, I always come back to Sarah and Beth. They are my absolute favorites podcast of all time. They do a deep dive on the issues without confusing you and are also entertaining to listen to. You ladies rock!!💕
HOPEFULLY LOVE
TL;DR - Just listen to Pod Save the World
Initially fairly interesting with some thoughtful discussion by two educated women. Lately, however, they use the term “nuance” to justify whatever they want to say rather than provide critical commentary. There is an overwhelming amount of Christianity on the podcast which some might like - I find it alienating and often not helpful (at times, it does provides context for their thoughts). Minimal effort to step outside of their upper class, white women perspective. In the past I’ve liked the “5 things you should know about [insert topic]” episodes but they haven’t done one of those in a while. If you’re looking for critical appraisal of policy/geopolitical issues/elections/etc consider Pod Save The World/America. I keep listening hoping they’ll turn it around but ready to throw in the towel. Skip this one.

Old enough to remember when show has nuance
At one time this show was about have an honest, balanced discussion and that has gone away. It is about hating half the country and denigrated while refusing to understand their views. Had a chance to be a great show but instead became a giant echo chamber. Sad!

This podcast always makes me feel better
I listen to a lot of political podcasts. All day every day. And when I queue up PP it’s because I’m worn out by the world and need to be calmed down by Sarah and Beth. This podcast is perfect and I love every minute of it.

Standout Political Podcast Among So Many
I’ll start by saying I recommend this podcast to all those that are interested in politics. The show provides fair and measured insight into current events. The dynamic between Sarah and Beth is so refreshing. They can disagree and still be kind to one another. The shows leaves you feeling content (like an episode of Ted Lasso) and feeling hopeful for the future.

Informative and Thought Provoking
My neighbor introduced me to pantsuit politics and I have not missed a show since that introduction. I appreciate the data driven, expert lead, and fact based exploration of the issues. The beauty is that Sarah and Beth are able to weave in humanity into the issues with their unique and informed perspectives. My family started to ask me how I had so much background on issues and I tell them it is thanks to Pantsuit Politics. Thank you!

Best podcast for nuanced look at the news
Pantsuit Politics helps me stay informed without being over saturated by the news. I know I’m going to understand the big picture but also gain deeper understanding of how we got here through Beth and Sarah’s careful research and analysis. The apple subscription content is also worth every penny!

Consistently balanced conversation
As a listener since 2019, I count on Beth and Sarah for fair, thoughtful, informative, funny conversations about politics and life

Don’t be fooled
You lie in the first five minutes of your episodes. I come to learn more, but you misquote and misrepresent senate bills. You are also very judgmental of people. I try to understand and I’m let down every time I start your podcast.

Real conversation
Sarah and Beth Thank you so much for your conversations about politics and the world. Since I moved from MI (Lansing area) to a very rural town in Kentucky it has been a bit rough to keep up with current events. My political leanings are not in line as much with my neighbors and I felt a bit isolated before listening to your show. Now I feel more informed and also more inclined to have pleasant conversations with my neighbors about issues that are to me and to them. I feel like I can engage in honest and shared viewpoints without anger or hostility. Keep it nuanced! THANK YOU! Kris

MI girl in KY world
Love y’all.
My favorite thing about Pansuit Politics is that my daughter is the one who introduced me to Beth and Sarah while we were on a long car trip home after a college semester. I am wondering if the two of you would be willing to pursue some genuine challengers to President Joe Biden? I am a very concerned democrat that we are not being any more honest about the need for a different candidate than the Republican Party. The leaders of the party NEED to cease gate-keeping and give President Biden a deep bow of gratitude and issue in a race for the presidency that has nothing to do with the Biden/DT dchotomy.

So Grateful for Pantsuit Politics!!
I am so grateful to have Sara and Beth and PSP in my life! I have been a Pantsuit Politics podcast listener for a few years but joined the subscription community right after January 6, 2021. In a world of chaos and uncertainty, this podcast and community is like a grounding cord that keeps me tethered when things feel like they are going off the rails. Beth and Sarah are so insightful, well researched, humble, open-minded and wise when it comes to discussing the days current events and issues we face as a global community. They are the first to admit that they do not have all the answers and on most days are a perfect balance of fire and calm. I have laughed, cried, danced (Beth love all of the music) and gotten real angry right along side them. I am so grateful for all of the work that they and their team have put into making this show. I can’t recommend it enough!!

My favorite guides
Sarah and Beth have become my favorite guides through the political and news cycles. Their work talking through and processing the Israel/ Gaza war has been extremely helpful. I also love to hear when these women disagree. They model hard conversations in a way that I want to emulate. I can’t handle much news but these women keep me informed and in the loop.

Always Recommending
This podcast has helped me stay informed without being jaded. I am constantly repeating phrases and frameworks from these two thoughtful women. Even when I don’t fully agree with them, I walk away with knowledge and a perspective that makes me a better person and citizen. I recommend this show constantly and it is one of only two podcasts I listen to with consistency and have for years.

It was fun but I’m done
Long time listener, here. I enjoyed the nuance and entertainment for years but as the humanitarian crises in the world continue to not let up, Sarah and Beth’s takes are no longer providing the truthful, revolutionary framework I need to help me navigate the escalating hostilities of our times. Liberal niceness, continued “trust in our leaders” (words used by both Sarah and Beth repeatedly), and the insistence on coming together to find common ground are not viable strategies, from a critical lens, that will lead to remaking the world in the ways it needs to be to save lives. As a Black woman, their perspectives are at odds with my survival. I’ve left PP and divested my time in interest. I now give and receive my support to DEMOCRACY NOW! Real political readers and listeners will know the difference. I wish y’all well, but I am out. ✌🏾

Just MSNBC with different faces.
Same super-left leaning biases and anti-conservative rhetoric as MSNBC. I can get “programming” of diehards on either side anywhere. Was looking for thoughtful, unbiased explorations of actual events. Not just what some DNC talking head says is okay to talk about today. Bye.

Out of Touch
I have loved this podcast for YEARS. YEARS. But the last few months? These two have become completely out of touch with what is going on from Palestine to now a completely bizarre take on the economy. Dropping my 5 stars to 3 because I honestly can't listen anymore without throwing a book at my computer while working.

Reasoned, thoughtful, and considered. Like a balm to the political brain.

Thank you, thank you, thank you
I never write reviews but was moved to do so after todays episode about the Israel/Palestine conflict. I always look to you to help explain the biggest political issues of the moment and have learned SO much these past few years. Today I wept at the end because you so encapsulated the raw sorrow I feel for everyone directly affected by the atrocities playing out in real time. It is such a difficult, confusing and often hard to relate to situation between Israel and the Palestinians, but it’s the horror of watching women and children be killed all around. I only hope more people listen to your words and come away with a better understanding of the conflict. But also feel seen in their depth of pain that you both so clearly articulated. Thank you- from Atlanta

A Slow Decline
I have been a long-time listener of this podcast, including support via Patreon. While I understand people and content evolve, the shift away from politics and more into the hosts’ personal interests and families is undeniable. Within the last 6-8 months, the content has felt completely uninspired. Serious political conversations are becoming overtaken by largely non-political guest interviews (including appearances by their spouses and children) and gimmicks such as “Supreme Court Karaoke,” which seems more a way to share a favorite playlist rather than produce relevant content. Final straw? Two political podcasters that don’t even bother watching the RNC debate, but instead choose to cover Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce. I can’t follow them on this journey anymore - I’ve officially pulled my support.

I am a better person because of this podcast!
I’ve been listening for 3 years and look forward to my time with Sarah and Beth each week. Not only is the podcast entertaining, I am also more informed, and so much of what I gain from the podcast is actionable. Whether it’s having the confidence to engage in grace filled conversations with friends and family to engaging in community volunteering, this podcast has inspired positive changes in my life.

If I were stranded on a desert island….
And I could only have one podcast it would be this one! They bring such nuisance to the news and often bring to my attention news I didn’t even know I needed to know!

I could listen daily!
This podcast is an absolute favorite of mine! I am signed up for the premium content so I do get more frequent episodes, which I love. The non-pay walled episodes are consistently outstanding. All are well-researched thoughtfully discussed, and all make you think not only about your own perspective, but about perspectives of those around you…be they strangers or close friends. I appreciate that Sarah and Beth don’t always agree, but no matter what, they always find a way to come back to center on foundation of respect and true love for one another. Each episode I walk away with an idea of how I can better support causes and people I care about, or a chance to think critically about issues I have not yet considered. Nuances for the win. This podcast helps me feel like I can stay informed while not also being regularly overwhelmed by news stories, or current events that cause me stress or anxiety. Thank you, Beth, Sarah and PSP Team.

Essential Listening
I have listened to this podcast for a couple of years now and it continues to impress. Sarah and Beth have such a lovely way of explaining things that gives you space to ponder your own thoughts and they challenge you to think about perspectives you might not have considered before. This podcast became Essential Listening for me though when I was interning in my state legislature, more than ever before I was sharing spaces with people who had some intense ideological disagreements with me. I was also seeing upfront people who I generally believed to be decent and kind plan how they would execute what I found to be really heinous legislation. Listening to Pantsuit Politics helped me remember to continue to have grace for these people and belief in my state and our institutions. They are able to remind you that while things might happen in the news that are heartbreaking the American story is never finished and we still have agency and power in this process. - Sonali M

I found Pantsuit Politics when they were guests on the Holderness Family Podcast. Now I can't wait to hear what they have to say each week. I never miss an episode!

Cooler heads prevail here
I just want to tell Beth thank you for doing such a great job of digging deeper than the initial anger/frustration when the news is negative. Today’s discussion of the end of affirmative action was such an uplifting one as Beth and her guest presented both accurate information about the ways in which this decision will cause strife in our world, while also working hard to look ahead to how we can use this moment to reflect on the failures of AA and to take advantage of the opportunity to create an even better system that addresses the historical and on-going harms to marginalized communities.

Best podcast available to me
Pantsuit Politics is the best podcast available to me! It’s truly my favorite. Sarah and Beth are the hosts who feel like friends. They are smart, insightful, curious, creative, and honest. I look forward to their episodes and their premium content, and often find myself thinking “I can’t wait to hear what Sarah and Beth think about this!” Keep up the great work, ladies!

Prefer the old summer series.
The last two months have been so boring, esp July. Only episode worth listening to is the 20 years of marriage.

SCOTUS episode so very interesting!
When Beth said she was going to talk about moral injury, I settled in to learn, something I appreciate most about this podcast. Beth and Sarah treat their listeners with respect and present them with information about current events that educates us and make us think instead of react. I will continue to listen because of the culture they've created.

My head and my heart together
Sometimes when I’m listening to Pantsuit Politics, it feels like the best parts of my head any my heart (or the heads and hearts of people I look up to) are in conversation with one another. Sarah and Beth accomplish what they set out to do- bringing heart and humanity into political conversations. As a pastor, I am keenly aware of the distance between what I think the world should be with what we actually have in front of us. When I listen to this show, I feel hopeful. I feel like we have what it takes to move in a direction of wholeness. This show doesn’t create an idealized false reality- it sets a path and an attitude for my approach to living in the fullness of this messy world.

Really helps me navigate the current moment
I listen to a lot of podcasts but this is the one I NEVER miss. Been listening 2 years now, and also subscribe to premium content. I appreciate the depth of the discussions and the thoughtful way information is prepared and presented - Sarah and Beth really do their homework on current issues. I learn something every single time I listen, whether it’s from a guest who’s an expert in their field or just from the discussions between hosts Sarah and Beth. I always feel like I am certain of my own opinions, but hearing more context around an issue or listening to a more nuanced take often challenges me to think more deeply and consider other perspectives and to pause and reflect before responding which is valuable in the current moment. I think this work is what makes for better citizenship and I am here for all of it!
