Raw, real, funny
I've loved their blogs and articles for years. The podcast is even better. Articulate, funny, sometimes wryly heartbreaking.

As a family law attorney and private Guardian ad Litem...
I really like/enjoy/riff on and sometimes get a little teary over this podcast. As someone who watches and tries to prevent horrible high conflict custody cases because they wreck lives this podcast is a bit of a balm and a roadmap for many. Thanks for doing the hard work and being willing to hold up the warts, and the remarkable benefits of putting your children first. Always. I do have one story I’d share at some point with you about a mom who did move away from regular parent-time after a brutal custody trial that was prejudicial and a modern day Salem trial leaving her little choice, but to leave. Anywho, bravo. Thank you for sacrificing the occasional emotional feel good of zinging the other parent for the long-term benefits to your kids. “Constant gauntlet”. That’s about right, friends.

Hurts so good
Honest, raw, and kinda heartbreaking. Love the conversation mixed with Monica and Serge reading their own writing. Please make more.

Something real in a world of illusion
Love this podcast; real and raw; fearless; in a world of fake news and 'reality' not reality TV, this is something you can believe. Want to feel emotion? Hear the truth even if it's painful? Look no further. Monica and Serge, thank you for your courage.

Knowing both Serge and Monica personally and what they have been through, this is as real as it gets!! These were well put together, and with Serge's music added in, an added treat! The descriptiveness of the writing and raw emotions, left me aching from the heartbreak. LOVED these!

Beautifully done. Real. Touching.
I was drawn into the whole experience immediately with the music, the interaction between Serge and Monica and then ultimately what I already love about both of these talented individuals: the recital of their writing. As a divorced mother in a completely different situation, it makes me happy that there are parents out there willing to go through hell and have their hearts broken because they are putting the kids interests first. Thank you for sharing a little bit of your lives with us.

Holy honesty, Batman!
Serge and Monica bring the real with this refreshingly honest podcast. I’m happily married, but appreciate hearing their reflections on what went wrong for them and how they are trying hard to make things right for their 3 kiddos. And the music ain’t bad either!

Outstanding
As someone who has read Monica’s blog from the beginning and has followed Serge in Marah from Let’s Cut the Crap...this podcast is an emotional rollercoaster. A divorced Dad myself with my 11 year old daughter living 4 hours away, I can totally relate with all of this. Keep it up guys, it’s tough to listen to at times, but it’s the most real pod I have heard.

Heartfelt, sad, and beautiful
I'm really enjoying this podcast so far! It deals with painful subject matters in a really beautiful and heartfelt way. The production is well done with a mix of conversation, music, and reading. It all comes across as incredibly honest and fascinating to listen to. I hope they keep it up!

Gratitude
I use podcasts to help me feel less alone and shattered in pockets of my life. This one is like having two good friends hanging out with me to discuss how crappy, amazing and confusing this “broke open” time of our lives is. Great his/hers viewpoints here from people who have enough courage mixed up with a willingness to stay connected with us and each other, even on the hardest days. Keep talking, Serge and Monica, feeling like we’re not alone is all we can hope for some days on this ride.

Raw and Intense
I’ve followed Serge and Monica’s writing for years (and Serge’s music for even longer). They’ve always had unique, poetic voices and a fearless need to pour their thoughts and hearts onto the screen. This podcast is no different. They’re intense, passionate people who lived an explosive relationship. This podcast is a living document of their current situation, getting on after divorce and raising their three kids. It’s raw, uncomfortable and engrossing. It’s the podcast that I drop everything to listen to when a new episode releases.

Congrats to you both!
You guys should be incredibly proud of this endeavor. It's not easy to be as up front and honest as you've been, delivering it all with humor and heartbreaking truths. There's nothing else out there like this podcast and it's refreshing and impressively well done. It's relatable content that no one ever talks about sewn together with a professional quality that's lacking in so many podcasts. You put out a quality product and I see it being nothing short of a success. Thanks for sharing, both of you. Very, very nicely done.

Something special.
I feel like I'm invading their privacy by listening to this, but I can't deny there's something different going on here, something that's missing in all the glossy social media sameness of today. The second episode left me gutted and crying...it's beautiful and sad and real. And Monica, just for the record--you aren't alone, not totally. Your lives and circumstances are unique and singular, but there's many of us out here, sharing the uncertainty of things. Hang in there.

Love it.
I reached out to Monica a while back because I’m also a divorced mom who has a relationship with her ex that is hard and confusing and ultimately for the kids. She was lovely in response and I loved hearing her here. Serge is just as great and intense over a podcast as you’d expect if you’ve read his writing before coming here. Your kids will love hearing this one day and know what great parents they have. Good job, guys.

A Revelation
As someone who's been married for 27 years, I didn't know if any of this would resonate with me. It does. Navigating life, kids, relationships, living with another human being, pop culture....the stuff that makes life worth living and exhausts you at the same time is all here presented honestly and humorously.

Well done!
I thought this was going to be a rambling mess. But I thought the production value was quite good, the insights spot on and the mix of Monica and serge talking, the individual monologues and the music all around awesome. Piercing truths mixed in with humor and joy and the bitter sweet. This really worked. I want more. You should both be proud of yourselves.
