I love the host and I find the information valuable. However I must admit that listening to only a few episodes the interviewees were somewhat privileged. The pro basketball player came from a family of entrepreneurs and had a leg up. One guy left a job making $300,000 and his wife didn’t work. I liked the story about the cop. It’s great motivation for opting out but it’s not like these guests were making Walmart wages drowning in student loan debt or having to hit up food banks.

The God rant threw me off.

I love this podcast. I heard Nate as a guest on another podcast and followed him back here. What he and Dana have pulled off with the Opt Out Life brand/movement is inspirational and very much needed. This podcast shares new entrepreneur stories but in a way that's both relaxed and also practical. The guests so far have been great. There's a lot of useful value here.

I love getting an NPR style production quality on down-to-Earth entrepreneurial stories. The hosts insights are also a welcome break-in a few times per episode. The Opt Out Life is on trend with how a lot of people are approaching work and lifestyle these days.

I love this podcast, as well as the Opt Out Life book. I’ve always felt like I wasn’t a good “Adult” because I never wanted the traditional 9-5 grind. This is the first time I’ve ever felt like I had permission to Opt Out as a responsible, grown up option for work and lifestyle. I am inspired to take my semi-successful but awkward and un-utilized opt out life and turn it into The Opt Out Life that the podcast and book are promoting.

Fresh, inclusive, and insightful conversations on not only success but all the failures and triumphs it takes to get there. All the while never taking themselves too seriously and keeping priority on not only creating a valuable life but also a life filled with cultural, personal, and integrous values. Love the diversity of guests and hoping to hear from more women like Laura Maly and some creative businesses too!

The opt out life is the most inspiring Entrepreneurial podcast out there. Nathan and Dana interview great people who have “opted out” of the standard 9-5 grind and go on to do their own thing. They break down their interviews with key points and perspective further helping the listener understand more deeply the context of the personality & history of the person they’re interviewing. Great podcast and I highly recommend it to anyone aspiring to be a digital nomad, entrepreneur, and/or startup guru.

Dana and Nate have been curating their network of Opt Out Life entrepreneurs over a decade and the trust they have with their guests shows in the depth of their conversations on the show. By far my favorite business podcast these days. Real entrepreneurs, great content, without all the hyped up crap that seems too be flooding podcasts and social media. Really enjoy hearing stories of success and failures from real entrepreneurs that care about enjoying life too. Keep them coming!

Each story is full of the twists and turns that successful entrepreneurs always seem to take on their journey to finally opting out of having a desk job, but this podcast is also full of practical advice, so if you're on the path to opting out, be ready to take notes. Priceless advice!

I'm really enjoying this podcast. Interesting guests and I like how the hosts will pause the interview and do a little side note in the podcasts. It helps get some more depth out of the conversations and more context.

Take two accomplished hosts and add very impressive but not “internet famous” entrepreneurs and you get a fast moving, insightful journey through an entrepreneurial journey you’ve never heard before. Most importantly, hosts Nathaniel and Dana add their own insights to give you actionable takeaways so you can use those lessons in your own life.

So far I’m loving this podcast. Interesting and down-to-earth. It reminds me of four-hour workweek (book)...which I thought would be really bombastic but not super practical. This podcast is also actually full of tangible stories and examples from real people’s lives that I might actually be able to apply to my own life. Shrug...I’m impressed.

I love the casual vibe of this podcast, it's like you're a fly on the wall as a few entrepreneurs run through stories of past successes and failures. It's given me some good ideas to apply to my 'side gigs' already after just a few listens.

The random stories and tidbits about how these guys have made money are totally worth the listen. Can’t wait to see who else is on the guest list

These guys correctly portray an alternative to the standard stationary work life. With an emphasis on life, they detail a work life that saturates their daily workflow with happiness and life experiences without traditional boundaries.

What makes this podcast interesting is that it isn't the same old content about 'how to build a business'. The hosts do an excellent job of relating the content for an everyday person who might just want to learn how to make a modest living working for themselves.

I just chimed in and listened to the first 3 podcasts. Holy crap this is good. I am SUBSCRIBED. Looking forward to the next ones!
