A great listen that lifts me up!

Informative, Fun, Exciting, Surprising, Funny
Who knew that two librarians could create such an amazing show about the Olympics and Paralympics?? I’m actually not surprised because every librarian I know is vastly interesting and interested in the world. You won’t hear the same sports content you hear everywhere else! And, as a disabled athlete and former Paralympian, I’m thrilled to hear the sports and athletes of the Paralympics discussed with the same depth and nuance as their counterparts in the Olympics. Thanks!!!

Great all around Olympic Podcast
This podcast has really expanded since its beginnings to become a true all around source of information regarding the Olympics. Great interviews of both athletes and behind the scenes folks, history segments, book and movie deep dives and follow ups for both past and future games. Definitely worth a listen if you’re interested in all the Olympics encompasses.

Awesome interviews
Jill and Allison always manage to get top-notch people to chat with. Olympic and Paralympic fanatics will love this show…not to mention their daily episodes during the Games.

Looking for a deep dive?
Olympic Games fans looking for in-depth info to nerd out on, you should listen to the podcast. It’s the first Olympics podcast I listened to and continue to do so. Those sports you never understood the intricacies of….now I know. And weekly updates from around the host cities and athletes.

A consistent and consistently good Olympic podcast
This is a *year-round, weekly* Olympics show put together by two very entertaining hosts. Jill

Thanks, but...
... the interviewer of the amazing Chellsie Memmel sounded completely uninterested, and had a droning voice. What a waste. Let the enthusiastic ladies do the interviews!

Unique coverage, Interesting interviews, One of my favorites.
A really great podcast with all kinds of fascinating interviews and information about the Olympics that I would never have been able to find elsewhere. The hosts really work hard to get interviews with people who work behind the scenes or fly under the radar of the major network coverage of the Olympics, so that their audience gets more of a full-picture view of the Olympics. They don’t ignore some of the problems with the Olympics, but they fully celebrate all the positive aspects. And I love their periodic Book Club episodes!

I used to love it
I really love the idea of an Olympic podcast and I used to love this one. Recently, it has become more and more of the hosts chatting with each other and complaining. They seem to be proud of not being well educated on athletics and yet have no problem forming a strong negative opinion on everything.

Genuine Enthusiasm
Such a fun podcast and it makes me happy to know that I'm not the only one suffering from Olympic Fever. The hosts' enthusiasm is so genuine and pure that it makes listening a delight even when I'm not particularly interested in the sport they're discussing. I've especially been enjoying the daily recaps during the Winter Olympics.

Good Day by Day Summaries But Too Much Personal Opinion
The podcasts are a great recap of the day by day updates of the Olympics, but the hosts put too much of their own opinions into the podcasts and lacks accurate facts and objectivity. The host sometime used phrases like “If you are not touch after watching this, then I feel sorry for your soul.” I find that a little ignorant and even offensive. Many times the hosts would use “that guy” or “the one that went after him”, lacking accuracy.

Just Off The Podium ...
The hosts are very charming and I appreciate their enthusiasm for the 2018 Winter Olympics. Though they are not very knowledgable about the sports or the athletes. Many times they say “that guy” or “him” instead of using athletes’ actual names. Their research is a bit ill prepared. They have inadequately reported results or pertinent information. Also they don’t seem current and are lagging several hours behind in their coverage i.e. haven’t fully watched the previous night’s Primetime events prior to recording their podcast. They are pleasant and its like chatting with friends about the Olympics, but maybe not the best source to receive accurate or current analysis. I was hoping for more and maybe it’ll get better within the next few days.

I love the Olympics!
I should be clear- I hate NBC’s coverage of the Olympics, and the corruption in the IOC, and the doping, and the economic costs of hosting, and all of that crap. Ultimately, though, none of that actually matters— I love the athletes and their competitive fire and the Olympic ideals and this podcast covers all the stuff I want to know but I have never had a source for before. Thank you!!!! (Also, this has to be the best opening sequence EVER)

An Olympic podcast for everyone!
Whether you’re a casual fan or a super fan like the hosts, you’ll love Olympic Fever! The hosts do a great job breaking down history, sports and providing contexts in each episode. There is no better way to prep for the Olympics than listening to this podcast!
