Funny Interesting and Informative

I’ve been listening to this podcast since the beginning. It’s amazing. It’s funny and informative.

I found this podcast about a month ago and have been working backwards through the archives ever since. This show has made me literally laugh out loud more frequently than ANY podcast I have EVER listened to. I love everything about it: fantastic hosts, ridiculous facts, even the music. I’m going to be so sad when I get to the end of the archives, but thankfully, there are hundreds of back episodes, so that won’t happen for a while.

A general knowledge podcast for over-enthusiastic theater kids if that makes any sense. Don’t understand how people actually like this show?

As a longtime fan of QI, I started listening to NSTASF a few years back. The show always provides some great bits of trivia and history, varying from WW2 to astrophysics to the origins of cardboard to the making of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest. The four hosts start to feel like friends after awhile...but like all friends, they start to get on your nerves after a while. There is certainly an aura of "know-it-all-ism" to their conversations, trying to one-up the others. The jokes don't always land (quite evident during the live episodes where attempts at humor are met with silence). And one host (I won't name names) never quite seems to have the same sense of humor as the others and she never yes/ands any bits, rather focusing on being correct rather than playful. When the show is firing on all cylinders, it's an educational and fun listen. But there are certainly times where you'd wish the hosts would stop nitpicking and get on the facts.

This podcast is so funny, smart, and weirdly comforting that I am busy listening to every episode for the second time.

And often listen more than once. So happy Anna is back! Doesn’t she have the best voice?!!

I am a prolific podcast listener, and this is my absolute favorite. I love the genuine relationship between Dan, James, Andrew, and Anna. I love learning new things while laughing out loud. I have listened to every episode and eagerly await for each new one to drop.

QI is my favorite television program, and this is my favorite podcast. It’s as funny as it is full of delicious information. The synergy between the hosts is magical. I listen from the first episode every year to relearn all the incredible things I have forgotten. If you want to shower everyone you know with stuff they have never heard before listen to this show. It’s as good as it gets.

I started listening during the pandemic and I’ve now listened to the entire series, from 2014 to the present, TWICE through. It never fails to cheer me up when I’m down. I also now pepper my family & friends with random facts until they give me funny looks, but it’s worth it.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years now and it has been a constant joy of useless trivia, fun facts, and some very terrible puns.

I typically go for podcasts that help me learn, and usually they can be a little boring, this one keeps me wildly entertained and smiling the whole time. Thanks for making knowledge hilarious. Really love it, keep up the good work.

Best podcast ever

Thank god my sister and I had this to listen to when we were stuck in traffic coming back from Burning Man. The hosts are delightful, and I love listening to the ways their conversations unspool.

I like the show well enough, but am tired of all the f-bombs on a show rated “clean.” Earlier seasons are better (and guest host episodes are preferred) as the core group tends to be less funny and the facts they choose are suspect and often uninteresting.

I heard an episode this on Cautionary Takes and it was as a pleasant and sidesplittingly hilarious surprise. Now I’m bingeing 400 episodes 🤣

I stop strangers who are walking with ear phones and tell them they have to listen to this podcast. I love it. I don’t know if there has been a single episode where I haven’t laughed out loud at least once. It is my happy place. Although my knowledge of obscure unimportant facts has been broadened, that’s not why I listen. It’s one of the funniest podcasts ever!

I love this podcast but when listening with headphones, one person’s mic (Andy’s) is too low and I either get blasted by the other 2 or don’t hear the Andy😞

I -love- the portions I listen to, but every episode prominently features a lot of crass and gross subject matter, every episode, despite a universe of information. So I end up skipping 1 or 2 of the 4 facts each episode, for most every episode. Really wish they would do more episodes without unpleasant subject matter. There’s other things of interest.

5 stars for the humor Not so much for the facts. The facts are ok but the jokes are better.

I recently discovered this podcast. Times are really tough in the world right now, but listening to the interesting fun facts and gentle humor of this podcast gives me a much needed respite. I hear the opening notes and I immediately relax and know for the next half hour to 45 minutes I will hear something wonderfully interesting and soothing.

The best
