I listened to the Zagreus episode and it kept me thinking about it the whole day. I was like,😶😦,it’s not necessarily a bad episode. It has Hades in it, and in the episode he actually smiled!!!!!!!!!! A twitchy smile, yes, but it’s still a smile. And he throws his son a party for his 17th birthday. But Persephone had Zagreus with Zeus, not with Hades. It said in the episode, start quote ‘ He took raggedy breaths, and he looked like he was about to cry’ end quote. The quote is something similar like in the episode. There’s even a mirror that takes Zagreus to another dimension where Zeus is his father and Hera tries to kill Zagreus. Ad near the end, Zagreus gets ripped apart limb by limb and eaten by Titans. I think the episode is called Zagreus, heir to Hades. Anyway, I hope you try this episode and tell me what you think about that certain episode.

I’m so sad to hear that they’re moving to Spotify! I have been an avid Parcast listener since the beginning of the pandemic and look forward to new episodes. I’m sure I’ll still tune in, but it won’t be as convenient as Apple podcasts. Mythology is a wonderfully researched podcast with great editorializing. I love Vanessa’s ability to paint a vivid picture and am always able to immerse myself in each world.

I like Vanessa's voice. She needs more podcasts on her own. I can’t stand who they partner her with. Yet they give these other people their own shows? Give Vanessa credit where credit is due. I heard her on an ad for a new show but as soon as she mentioned she’s partnering with Carter I was like PASS.

Great podcast. I love every episode!

But yet another podcast turning its back on its supporters and going to spotify only. I am so disappointed that Vanessa is allowing that. Apparently she is not interested in her fan base. Just in the almighty dollar.

This started as a great podcast with some cool stories and well done performances, however they have recently gone to making stories up and being very fluid with what are the true myths from history. Overall fun and entertaining, but have been disappointed by the lack of accuracy as of late.

The sound effects and background music make it incredibly immersive to listen to!

I have been listening to Mythology for a while now. I love the way they tell the stories and provide you background information. Parcast has done a great job putting this together. Sorry to hear it is going exclusively to Spotify.

Parcast has done it again! And better! Now, instead of paraphrasing Wikipedia articles on historical figures or cults or whatever, they’re just gonna read a bunch of ancient stories with horrible accents and pitiful sound effects! Best part: they’re all in the public domain! Virgil himself, back from the dead, could not figure a way to milk his Odyssey for money. Parcast: hold my beer.

The story telling is amazing! Love the mix of voice acting and narrating. I find myself intrigued and can’t stop listening. I’ve been looking for a podcast like this for years!

The narration and production choices sound like I’m listening to a children’s show about mythology. It would be nice if there was more background info

This podcast has incredible content, great stories, and allows people to learn more about these religions and cultures. Also, the voice acting in on par, makes the story a lot better. 😄Love it, keep it up!

I'm deeply in love with this podcast 💗😭 but we need more episodes about Greek mythology like Hades and Persephone ✨

The female voice actor is overly dramatic, annoying and distracting. I skip any part with her in it. The female that does the ads is also awful. Vanessa’s voice is wonderful. She has a fantastic tone, cadence, and crisp pronunciation. She is so soothing and calms my nerves after a hectic day.

I just started this podcast yesterday, and let me tell you, it doesn’t get much better than this. They explain and act out myths and even history from all over the world. The detail is astonishing and will keep you enthralled for hours. Please give this a listen, whether to learn or to hear where basically all morals of the world come from. Congrats on an amazing podcast, y’all are stellar at what you do! <3

This podcast is amazing to learn about the gods and goddesses of the past! It explains it very clearly, only including the legends without many variations. It tells only one story. Vanessa Richardson’s voice is a great storytelling voice.

I am passionate about the mythology and quite familiar with most of the stories. This podcast, however, brings details that I haven’t heard before in uniquely narrated perspective.

I love the breadth and depth of these episodes.

Omg amazing yes so good

Entertaining. However the woman doing the commercials sounds like she is sucking on a helium balloon.

Interesting and enjoyable to listen to their portrayal of myths! People complain of inaccuracies but it’s literally called “mythology” anyone who has studied myths knows there always multiple versions of the stories! These are well done and well narrated.

They take a lot liberties thou

What does it matter what she looks like? Inaccurate information? On myths? How do you “fact check” a myth? The only thing that drives me up the wall is the girl reading the ad for that Santa Fe commercial. Her voice is cringy...like a ‘valley girl’ by dragging out words.

I had a nicer image of her before this but the two episodes of her, she is so petty. Just started listening to Mythology and it’s quite interesting.

I am super picky about the voices I listen to it’s the most important thing lol I’m surprised I have not found this one maybe I listened to an old episode a while ago with a different voice or a different pod with a similar name but either way super glad I found it now I love all paracast

I love this podcast

I’ve always wanted to know more about mythology! This podcast has really enlighten me on so much about the Gods/Goddess/etc. I immediately loved the storytelling and the voice actors are amazing! Absolutely captivating!

I am so addicted to this pod cast I become saddened when I have to wait for the next show lol.

I really like it but some pronunciations are soooo bad they take me out of the story. I end up skipping those.

Vanessa your voice is so smooth and eloquent it seems effortless!! I noticed some complaints about the actors and actresses voices, but I actually enjoy them too! It all ties in perfectly to me! Keep it up!💚💚💚

While I do enjoy this podcast, the voice acting leaves much to be desired. It sounds like they use the same voice actors for all the stories. Especially the female voice actors. I wish they would switch it up some more.
