This is exactly the podcast we need right now
Are you a died in the wool dem? Great! Rejoice and cringe at the antics of 90s politics! Hard core conservative? Great! Rejoice in how poorly bill clinton, previous darling of the libs is has fallen so so low!

My favorite podcast!
I could not love this more! Admittedly, I was a fan of Monica the Musical so it would make sense that I would enjoy Monica the Podcast as well. But I didn't know how much fun it would be to listen to Dan and Tracie tell the backstory along with their collaborators. These are dynamic, hilarious people who I would definitely want to hang out with and by some miracle, they asked me in to do just that 12 times! We are all lucky enough to be invited to listen to their banter, their self-reflection, and their entire creative process from start to finish. Plus the music and lyrics were the exact antidote I needed to our present day political disaster. Monica the Podcast let me relive a sweeter and considerably funnier political disaster with my two newest bffs. Thank you for this Dan and Tracie!

time for a revival
This is absolutely hilarious, and what’s more the music is AMAZING. No matter how close it came to Broadway, it should have gotten there. A must listen!

really fun
i wasn’t sure what to expect, but this is great. the 2 hosts are fun to listen to, and i enjoy hearing them rehash their crazy musical. it’s a good insight into what it’s like working on a show, and also really fun in light of politics today.

Unreasonably entertaining.. and a surprisingly refreshing escape from politics.
I honestly didn't think a podcast about a musical about the Clintons could be nearly as cathartic or entertaining as this is. But as it happens, listening to Daniel Rogge and Tracie Potochnik reminisce about their foray into musical theater is a refreshing and entertaining escape from politics. (Amazingly, it's just as much an escape from clinton-era politics as it is from today's overwhelming situation). "Monica! The Podcast" is funny, heartfelt and ridiculous, and the hosts are both relatable and hilarious. One need not have seen the obscure and quirky musical that this podcast is dedicated to remembering in order to enjoy following along. Daniel and Tracie make it a pure joy to go along for the ride with them as they laugh together and recall the origin and evolution of the musical they describe as "accidentally" getting produced. One has to imagine it would be fun listening to these two chat about nearly anything. STRONGLY recommended for anybody interested in a lighthearted, whimsical, roughly-half-hour show.
