I love this show so much, it’s so funny, we’ll produced, and the voices are great. This is definitely my favorite podcast and I am constantly re-listening to it.

It’s a crime that more people don’t know about Mission to Zyxx. The cast are amazing improvisers and it’s edited and mixed so well. I’m so sad that it’s over but they wrapped it up so well and I will just keep relistening to it until these talented people come out with more content.

All hail the Federated Alliance, or maybe the Rebellion. Perhaps the Monarchy? A rag tag group of misfits is pressed into the role of diplomats, and travel the universe with hilarious results. Improv comedy in space. Great sound and music. It's clear the core group of actors are good friends in real life.

I’m thoroughly hooked on this show. The production value is ridiculously good. Every actor brings something different to the table and they all compliment each other. If you like Hello from the Magic Tavern you might like this.

I think of all the comedic podcasts I’ve listened to, this is one of my favorites because it’s laugh out loud funny on a consistent basis. Bungling through space is a well worn trope in podcasting and thus it’s difficult to be original, but this show is right up there with Midnight Burger when it comes to an imaginative and original story line and characters. The series has finished and will be much missed, but for anyone into comic space operas, this is one of the best.

Very funny, a lot like improvised Star Trek or Hello From the Magic Tavern. If you’re a fan of improvisation comedy, you’ll like this podcast.

Finally started listening. This is maybe the best narrative comedy podcast out there. Love the characters and the sound design is incredible. In my Top 5 podcasts of all time easily.

This is, arguably, the most perfect example of the creative/narrative podcast form. The story is profound and compelling, the humor both subtle and absurd, and the characters simultaneously admirable and contemptible (and I want to smooch each and every one of them… except probably Justin, no shade, brah.) I had thought the extra effort and expense they put into the show wouldn’t make that much of a difference but, juck my tube, I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is an incredible example of creative people pursuing their vision above and beyond and I am so grateful to have been along for the ride.

I can NOT hear this phrase without cracking up and oddly I now hear it everywhere. During a workout the other day, my coach Mark told me to keep my head on a swivel and I immediately checked yelled back “locked and loaded”! AJ is my hero.

Updated review: re-listing to the entire show before the season finale. There is a good laugh every episode. Great for long bike rides when you are hurting, just makes the pain go away! Oh my ROD, this cast is JUCKING great. The stories are great, each episode is so unique and tells and enthralling overall unique story. I laugh every episode. The audio is too tippy top notch. If you are listening in your car and not on heads phones you are not doing this podcast justice. Favorite episode was all the kids on the planet being told their careers.

Hands down my favorite podcast. I have always loved audio dramas, books on tape, and serialized podcasts in general. What’s so amazing about mission to zyxx is that it succeeds at being an incredibly goofy and funny improvised podcast but at the same time rivals other serialized audio dramas I have listened to (improvised or scripted) in terms of creating engaging worlds and characters. Extremely well produced, high quality performances, great world building, this show was a consistent high point in my day/ week. It has been something to look forward too no matter how hard or difficult my week has been. Thank you for all your work mission to zyxx team and wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!

I needed to get this to everyone’s attention because it irritates me. So the story goes I was driving to Cincinnati to visit family, and along the way I saw a food truck advertising “follow me to fresh”. I of course got incredibly excited at the idea of being a Zumba knight and decided to follow the truck, but much to my dismay, it didn’t lead me to zima prime! And as we all know if you’re a member of zima prime you should be able to find it within 1-2 days, this made me think perhaps I wasn’t a zima prime member. So I honked at the truck until it pulled over, and told the man Tom Wellington’s login, and he punched me! Just for honking at him for an hour and a half and following him everywhere, I mean honestly, for a fresh truck driver, that guy was pretty wack. Nonetheless a good show, but y’all should probably fire that guy.

Now that I’ve finally caught up with Hello From The Magic Tavern, I’ve begun bingeing Mission to Czickscs. Quite hilarious. Indeed. Nice music, too. Yup.

I have loved MTZ since I was introduced to it in the middle of season one. The crew and their guests are so funny, the stories are entertaining, and overall i just find myself completely sucked into their world every week. ETA: thank you to the entire crew for the last few years of amazing, funny, heartfelt content. I’m going to miss the show and plan on relistening to the show in its entirety soon!

I started listening to mtz in my senior year of high school, when i was trying to branch out and listen to more podcasts. This show got me through all of the weird, wonderful, awful, and stressful times that made up my college experience. No other show i’ve listened to has it all: amazing sound design, is laugh-out-loud funny, intensely revisit-able, and still has a strong beating heart with characters you love so much. I’m now closing out my senior year of college at the same time at zyxx is closing out their final season, and i couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re reading this and hemming and hawing, wondering if it’s worth it to take the plunge with so many episodes, don’t worry. It’s not only worth it, it’ll be the best podcast decision you’ve ever made.

I can’t praise this show highly enough, it’s my favorite podcast of all time now. I just wish this wasn’t the last season! It’s brought me so much happiness and entertainment and laughs. Thank you so much to all seven of the crew who spend so much time making every episode.

I had heard a few ads for this show on other Maximum Fun podcasts, and was curious so I listened to a few random, recent episodes. I was hooked in no time, and ended up binging the whole back catalogue! This became the show that finally convinced me to become a Maximum Fun member, both to try and pay the show back for the month of joy it’s given me and in hopes that Maximum Fun will continue to provide other great shows like this one.

With hands-down the best audio production in a podcast I’ve ever heard. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

So sad I found this show right before it’s final season. I devoured it and have loved every second of it.

I’m so far down the zyxx rabbit hole and I’ve nearly listened to the entire thing twice, that I get worried when they’ll do a cut scene without an ad. Like I hope they are still doing well for themselves. I am in love with this show, sad it’s ending but it’s been an incredible journey. Love you guys!

I'm sad that Zyxx is ending ... but oh so glad it was here. I hopped on the bandwagon in Season 2 and fell in love with it. Looking forward to see what this group does next!

Screw this bait and switch nonsense. One minute there five seasons up the next you only get access to the first teaser episode. Walk away it’s another cash grab dumpster fire.

A truly fantastic podcast. My favorite of all time. So easy to binge. The main cast and guests are consistently hilarious. Sound design is great. Start listening immediately.

And sadly I do mean going. Last season but for years this show has kept me going. There are times this show seems to just go off the rails, as Improv sometimes does, but I am always giddy with excitement to follow it right off the rails. It’s amazing and anyone who has not experienced it yet should listen to episode one RIGHT NOW, and you will keep Listening until there is nothing more to listen to

I love this podcast. It's so funny and comforting. The cast and crew put so much polish into every episode and it shows. I still laugh even after listening to every episode at least three times. Thank you Alden Ford, Moujan Zolfaghari, Jeremy Bent, Allie Kokesh, Seth Lind, Winston Noel, and Shane O'Connell, for all your hard work. And the same for all the special guests! I'm so excited for every new episode and announcement.

This podcast is one of my favorite things, period. It’s silly, funny, clever, and compelling. I absolutely adore it. If you’re in the mood for a lovable, light-hearted sci-fi story, it truly doesn’t get better than this.

As others said, Alden Ford dominates the podcast. It’s happened in other podcasts like their Warhammer one and I didn’t realize it was them at first again. I hoped a full vocal cast versus a couple friends would balance it out but unfortunately it’s still Alden & Friends. The interruption aspect is especially frustrating - that’s not conducive to improv, wait for your “yes, and…” moment and also provide that option to your fellow cast members.

Brahs….. Zzyzx (pronounced Zye-Zix) is a town in California. Google it.

The guy talks way to much, interrupts others and is considerably less interesting than others. Please for the love of Rod talk less and trust the cast. Great show but he sure does ruin it for me
