Well Done
I'm actually a Technical Communication major, but I'm interested in pursuing BA as a career. This podcast was not only informative about what skills I'll need to strenghten to reach my goal, but it confirmed that this is a path that resonates with me. I will definitely continue to listen and enjoy.

Excellent Podcast
I listen to this podcast when I go for walks at work to take a break. I find myself regularly using things I learn from this podcast in my day to day activities as a BSA. Thank you and keep them coming!

Fantastic
Fantastic quality content. I just discovered this podcast a few weeks ago and have listened to about 20 so far. They are short and to the point, perfect for a commute. I work as a BA and all topics are directly applicable to my daily work and on trend with my industry's direction. These podcasts are much more information-dense than a typical PM/BA webinar and thus a very efficient use of my time. The host (who is clearly highly skilled in elicitation) adds significant value by keeping the guests on-point, asking just the right clarifying questions, and always ensuring the listener walks away from each podcast with an actionable suggestion. Thanks to Dave Saboe for providing this valuable service to the BA community.

Continuing Education for BAs, PMs, and SEs
I'm grateful for podcasts such as Mastering Business Analysis. Before podcasting, updating your skills and staying current with industry trends was time-consuming and expensive; and if you didn't live close to metro areas, you were out of luck. Dave Saboe (sp?) is amassing an impressive collection of interviews from business analysis practitioners and thought leaders, covering a variety of skillsets and perspectives. I do have a couple of complaints. My iPhone's podcast player cannot access episodes before # 21, and the website does not make episodes before #33 available under the Podcasts tab. I really wanted to start at the beginning. However, you can use the Search function to find earlier episodes (e.g., MBA002 for episode 2) and listen on your computer. Also, in some episodes (e.g., 33 and 34), the interviewee's audio becomes so muffled that I can't understand much of what is said. Fortunately, the excellent show notes thoroughly explain the material.

Very Practical
This is a very practical and valuable podcast. Learn how to go from just the title of BA to someone who analyzes business challenges and opportunities and provides recommendations of solutions that provide value.

BA Maester
According to the Game of Thrones...Maesters, formally known as the Order of Maesters, are an order of scholars, healers, and learned men in the Seven Kingdoms. Due to their scientific and intellectual pursuits, they are sometimes referred to as "the knights of the mind". This Podcast will make you a Business Analysis Maester...period!

Great Podcast!!!
I'm a new BA, and this podcast has really helped me think about my work in new ways. Sometimes Business Analysis can be hard to talk about. This podcast does a great job of making topics relatable and easy to understand.

Love, love, love this podcast!
I am a PMP Certified project manager. I have recently taken over management of an Agile project. I am also playing a dual role of scrum master and trying to direct a new resource on how to do business analysis. This podcast has really helped me with key skills and resources to address some of the areas where we are struggling. I am able to scroll through the episodes and find just the topics I need. The show notes are great too. Highly recommended!!

Very Good!!
I am just finishing my 2 year AAS Degree Business Analyst, and these Podcasts are excellent!! I went back to Podcast 1 and moved forward. When I say moved forward, I mean in every respect!! He interviews some of the top BA’s in the world. They give excellent insight and share techniques that make me anxious to get out there and get started.

For practical and immediately actionable techniques--I highly recommend David's podcast. His guests are all practitioners and the manner by which he interviews them helps paint a picture of real world examples of issues and the solutions to resolve them. Great information regardless of your level of expertise.

Master Solving Business Problems!
The content and delivery of this podcast is Outstanding! The facilitation by Dave Saboe is driving out valuable information not just for Business Analysts and also for those involved in solving business problems by interacting with individuals. The reference materials provided with each episode are valueable resources to support professional development. I particularly benefitted from EP.03 (interview w/ Ken Howard) – the VARK learning model is a “new” tool for me that will advance my capacity to communicate effectively. Great job!

Great podcast, whether you're a business analyst or simply someone who collaborates with other people to get things done. High quality, informative, and packed with great ideas. Rarely do podcasts begin so well. Can't wait to hear the podcast grow.

Family Law Paralegal
I would like to indicate that my comment pertains to Episode 4: Defeat the Meeting Super Villains. As a Family Law Paralegal, my role in meetings (whether with a client or opposing party) generally falls to the "mime" character, which he illustrates in a way that is so true to the reality of a meeting. After listening to Mr. Saboe's podcast, I am taking step to a more active role, not in the sense where I will be a "dominator", but as an "agenda enforcer", "elmoer" and "parking lot manger". Many times meetings with client go awry because the client is concerned with too many different aspects (like the "multitasker") and not with the issues at hand. I very much enjoyed Mr. Saboe's podcast so far. He has a unique way of breaking down complex ideas and putting them into easy to understand terms. Additionally he has a strong and stable cadence, which makes it easy to listen to, but not become disengaged. I am looking forward to hearing his future podcasts.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first 4 podcasts on Business Analysis. Although perhaps intended for Business Analysts involved with the development of software programming, the subject matter is very germaine to Human Resources professionals, Management Analysts or Project Managers who deal with very similar issues and obstacles in the course of their work. Whether eliciting the requirements for a new project, analyzing current business processes in an effort to streamline and save on resources without sacrificing efficacy, or developing training classes on new business practices for delivery to an employee population, the concepts and principles Mr. Saboe presents are immediately understandable and useful. I look forward to episodes 5 and beyond!
