I look forward to this podcast every week!

I’ve tried so many other gardening programs, but none feature the charming duo of Margaret Roach and Ken Druse. The interviews are fresh and the topics contemporary. The timely information mirrors the wonderfully relevant articles Ms. Roach pens for the New York Times.

I absolutely love the content covered in this podcast; however, the host, Margaret, is constantly interrupting her guests and answering questions that she’s just asked them. If it’s “the world according to Margaret,” then why even invite these experts on the show? I completely understand collaborative overlap language styles, but that’s not really what’s happening here. Please keep making awesome content, but please also keep a bit of awareness about cutting off your subject matter experts.

This show is so enjoyable. I love the relaxed but very informative conversations between Margaret and her guests. Thank you!

No matter your interests and outdoor goals, you will find yourself enjoying a vast range of ecological and gardening topics. Time and again I feel surprised to find that I really liked even the topics that I thought I wouldn’t. Thank you for the scintillating and knowledgeable interviews, Margaret. Also, thank you for helping me to learn about native plants; I just planted my first grey birch and there’s more to come! Keep it coming please!

Please remember podcasts and the NYT go everywhere, even to the dry, drought prone west. And it would be great if the same guests were on and on and on. There are great gardeners, writers and nursery people west of the Mississippi. And don’t forget we know all about gardening in the heat.

It is really difficult to listen to all the interruptions. Why have someone on the show if you constantly stop them from taking only to talk about yourself and everything you know? I’m sure the information is important but it is not being communicated effectively. Please let your guests finish their sentences before you jump in.

Short quality way to learn about gardening while weeding or commuting. Excellent interviews to top experts on variety of topics. A must listen to.

I took 4 years of Latin…. But I’m lost with Your botanicals. Any chance of a translation?

I love everything about this podcast. But I am wondering if you could perhaps cover some topics related to our drought out west. I live in the desert west of Salt Lake City and yearn for more advice on dealing with the drought and my gardens. I noticed that you cover issues related to the east coast but really no one is giving any advice about dealing with drought in areas not used to going without water. Keep doing what you’re doing! Love your podcast!!

Host is enthusiastic but her enthusiasm leads her to frequently interrupt her guests answers. Spend the whole program well over twenty minutes or more never answering the topic with specifics. Also topic selection and guests are frequently of low quality.

Generally informative, however recent interviews have been surprisingly unconcerned with environmental and health concerns. Recommending the use of glyphosate, a known carcinogen and endocrine disrupter as well as other toxic chemicals that are poisoning us, wildlife, and our environment is just reckless.

Margaret always has interesting guests, and covers a wide variety of fascinating aspects of horticulture. This podcast is always a “good listen” and I hope she keeps it going.

So many of us gardeners are biologists at heart. I love how Margaret Roach brings the two fields together.

Margaret Roach is a treasure of the horticultural family. I look forward to her Podcast and I love her website and blog full of useful gardening information and book recs. Also love reading Margaret in The NYT! I garden in Falls Village, CT, so her seasonal schedule is nearly identical to ours. Best, Margaret has taught me that weeding can be “treasure hunting” if you know all what to look for!

Even though I’m in North Texas and not New York, I look forward to hearing whatever Margaret has to say, about gardening or any other subject. I just wish it was longer. It always ends too soon. :)

I love love love Margaret’s podcast and look forward to it every weekend. My only beef is that I wish it was an hour long! Once I discovered A Way to Garden I went back to the beginning and listened to every one.

I remember when Margaret had another gal with her doing the podcast! I never miss listening to an episode, however I wish I lived closer so I could visit her gardens when open to the public.

Margret Roach tend to interrupt her guests and spend a lot of time talking about herself. I no longer enjoy this podcast.

I love that she can break down the most complex garden concepts into a vernacular that is easily relatable. A lady after my own heart, she gardens “ cheap and lazy”.

The topics not only vary greatly, but it's in language the novice gardener can understand.

Margaret Roach has been a leader in the gardening world for many years now from Martha Stewart to PBS she has been sharing her knowledge and passion for healthy food and living for many years. Her podcast inspires and educates in her classy style!

Don't be put off by how much Margaret loves to garden, or by the expertise of her guests. This is wonderful even for aspiring or novice gardeners. A favorite podcast of any genre.

I enjoy the podcast but don't always know the common names of the plants referred to. Please say the common name after the scientific one to help us learning gardeners to learn the proper names. 1/2016 Really like the tips on varieties of seeds and seed catalogs.

I'm a definite fan! Have read Margaret's wonderful books and thoroughly enjoy her podcasts. I have listened to all of them. Many several times! When I am out gardening hers have a more interesting variety of content than any other gardening podcast I have listened to. From lawn care to lichen to bees to yogurt-curious? Good. Listen! (Just wish they were longer.)
