First time listener, sitting in car crying.
I’ve never written a review in my entire life. April 12, 2024 episode of The 7 Tips that helped me Lose Weight… every single word is me. Completely relatable. I’m so exhausted and everything makes so much sense now. She is so real. So funny. So honest. I feel…. Seen.

Hard pass
It seems like all the time now that anyone loses a lot of weight, suddenly they are the expert on losing weight. I have lost quite a bit of weight and though maybe she’d have some tips for keeping it off. I don’t know what her qualifications are other than she managed to lose a bunch of weight (a long with a lot of people), and the podcast is just a shill to market her various programs, etc. Camp? Really? There really is so much better advice out there and from people actually qualified to give it.

Great Advice-ALWAYS
I’ve been listening to Corrine for many years. I’ve taken the free course and learned so much. She always gives the most down to earth advice. I have suggested her podcast to several of my friends. I will continue to listen. Try her podcast, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Very Motivating!
Corinne is the real deal! She has been through it and knows exactly how to communicate her experiences to motivate others. Thank you! Very frustrating when people who have never battled weight loss or experienced weight related frustrations try to give advice. Many times they are thin because they are lucky. I look forward to each podcast!

Enjoy the podcast for the most part
I enjoy the message and it’s helping me to stay focused and determined in health/wellness but the interaction between Corinne and Cathy is just annoying. Cathy is constantly looking for validation from Corinne and Corinne is constantly negging Cathy. I honestly prefer the recordings of the Facebook Lives. They need counseling or something. Smh.

Corinne is the real deal!
I first started listening to this podcast back in 2017 I believe. And she was the first person I ever heard use the term emotional eating. And I didn’t think I was. And then she explained that yes I was. I didn’t commit to her method right away but she planted a seed that stayed with me until I did finally decide to start, last year in January. She has helped me so much on my journey and I’m so glad to have found her!

So good!!
I love the way Corrine genuinely wants to help and share her knowledge. I feel like she knows exactly what is going on in my head and is trying to show me the path to freedom around food.

Great motivating podcast
I love Corrine’s no nonsense, straight forward talk in regards to weight loss and our relationship with food! This is my first time listening & look forward to listening to more episodes.

I love Corinne, I have never felt so seen, which is helpful all on its own. She is passionate about what she does and you can feel it through the speakers, this is a podcast I recommend to every person I come in contact with!

So glad I found Corinne
I recently found this podcast & I'm so glad I did!! I recently lost 30 pounds so now I'm in maintenance mode. I feel more confident after listening to just a few episodes. I love that she deals more with the psychological aspect of why we do what we do. Thank you, Corinne!!

6 Reasons why it’s so hard to stop at enough.
This was an amazing show. I sent it to a friend. I’m a former NOBS member and I’m likely rejoining soon. While I always connect with the things that Corrine shares, this one was particularly insightful. I’ve never thought about the fact that I’m hoarding food by eating it. I always thought I was binging. Hearing her say that what I’m actually doing is hoarding food by eating it until I run out was new to my ears. Understanding that I’m hoarding it (by eating it until it’s gone) so it doesn’t threaten me the next day or become too tempting is a behavior I didn’t think anyone else had. Hearing her say that it’s an anxiety response is profound. It’s consistent with things I did as a teenager. now that I can put a name on it, I can address it. Thank you again, Corrine!

Language is a little harsh
I tried to listen but the harsh language I just couldn’t do. Dang! I was so hoping as this was a great resource!

Brutal honesty here
Corinne is not phony! She says what is on her mind. I am on maintenance but I love this channel for great advice to keep my 30 pounds off. My one problem appears to be unnecessary snacking. Meals are not my problem. I need this channel in my life

Shut up Bots - Corrine is here to change lives
I’m so annoyed by all the reviews that mention foul language. It’s so repetitive that it seems like bots. This podcast is clearly marked explicit. I’ve been listening for 6 weeks and it’s changed my life. I haven’t given this woman a dime and I’ve lost 20 lbs. Maybe this isn’t for you and that’s okay. But losing 100+ lbs is a B and I need her telling me the truth WITH bad language for me to take it seriously. And if the people complaining about language are real humans, get over yourself.

Good tips but BAD language
Corinne shares a lot of good, practical, helpful tips for weight loss, but be aware—the language is loaded and unnecessary. I can’t listen to this podcast with my kid in the car. Hate to be a prude, but it’s just unnecessarily laden with F-bombs.

Love the mindset advice!
I’m not even trying to lose weight but I love this podcast! I love the mindset perspectives. It has helped me stop over eating.
Lift for life
Great story but a lot of profanity
Great info // too much cursing!
CWilli74
Corinne’s LCS affiliation is a problem
Corinne, the Life Coach School uses shady sales practices, under-delivers x10, ignores research, and causes real trauma to clients and students. It doesn’t address self-harm and calls racism a “thought.” Why are you still associated with it?! Also, your cursing is self-sabotage—period. Calling clients the B word and dropping F bombs on a podcast demonstrates that something in you wants to turn people away.

Not for me
She has some interesting things to say but unfortunately her message gets lost in the offensive language.
Justanotherchick123
Part of the problem
This is part of the problem. A “coach” with no clinical education, training or background dispensing mental health counseling disguised as coaching. She yells on this podcast and is even worse to the women she cons out of their money. Monthly dues plus extra charge for “camps” which heavily promoted and marketed to the membership so they frantically spend more money to not feel left out. She also promotes a “special program” which she charges $3k for beta testing new material. This new material is just some worksheets, using slack for support and a weekly session with 30 other other women so only a couple get any coaching. For $3k you can get an actual therapist to properly support changes using clinically proven techniques. Grifter

my real thoughts on this podcAST
wow. This is some of the best advice for weight loss I have ever heard in my life.

Talks without any real strategies
Her language is foul and she gives no actual strategies or guidelines to work with. Big waste of time.

First rating because
I’ll rate a podcast I love and usually leave stars but no comment. And if it’s over 30 mins forget it, I may never get to it :D This is the first time I’m leaving a review on a specific episode and podcast. You hit home for me on this episode. I didn’t realize that’s why I was eating the way I do. Thank you so much for what you do and EXACTLY how you say it. You words, vocabulary (“#%^*”) and tone is exactly what I needed to hear. My definition of a little tough love, it encourages me so much!! I speak the same way. I think we’d get along great! I really connected with this podcast and episode. You gave me HOPE and enlightenment.

Journaling 2019
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this one. I have so much in common with you… I wrote in my diary from 8 until I was a senior. My boyfriend who I ended married at 18 made me throw them away. I stopped journaling for years this is helping me get back at it. I have been making my own by writing questions and a food journal combined… I have never heard the benefits before… I know it helped me to be a better writer… I wrote grants like a boss. I have been listening and I have been tweaking my eating and mindset. Thank you for all you do.

Corinne and her NoBS women are the best!
Corinne Crabtree is amazing- she is incredibly smart, emotionally intelligent and relateable. She shares simple common sense methods to lose weight and start to heal your food and diet shame. Corinne should be winning awards for her services to those who have been traumatised not only by body image/ diet pressure but also the stresses that caused us to turn to food in the first place
Healing&Growing
It’s so much more than a weight loss podcast
If you can get past the salty language, there is so much to gain from listening to this podcast. Her methods are based on the concept of thought work taught by Brooke Castillo. The podcast teaches you to notice your thoughts, especially the negative ones that keep you in a place of emotional eating to self soothe. She shows you how to normalizes the thoughts and teaches you to neutralize them. Basically the idea is to change your thoughts to create loving, compassionate self talk. Once you do this, you can make actions that support your health and wellness. It’s about learning to love yourself as you lose the weight. Getting to the goal weight doesn’t guarantee happiness. Learning to love yourself is the journey. Corinne has changed my life. Thank you Corinne! 💕

She’s amazing! Love this podcast
I found this podcast recently, after I had learned the hard way the things Corinne teaches. I’m still on the journey, so find her content very useful. Let me tell you though, what she teaches is the only way to do it right. I do not know her, but I really believe in what she’s doing and would absolutely work with her if I had found her earlier in my journey. Plus, she’s so fun to listen to! I listen to a lot of podcasts and I love learning, but often they get boring, like right now on a Friday afternoon. That’s when I turn to Corinne! I can learn and benefit from her energy and humor!

Too much screeching
I get she’s passionate about the subject but unfortunately had to unfollow after 10 or so episodes because her pitch gets higher and higher. Sorry:/

Life changing in the most positive ways!!
I stumbled across this podcast after listening to Corinne Crabtree on another podcast about autism. As a mom of a daughter with autism I immediately connected with Corinne and found her so extremely motivating. I immediately searched for her podcast and started listening. I don’t have social media so I’m only using her podcast but have implemented so many new things in my life. This is changing every area of my life in the best ways possible. I’m beyond grateful I desperately needed this podcast!

I should have written this a long time ago!
Corinne has helped me lose 40 lbs and I can’t thank her enough. I lost weight prior to joining the program to lose weight, but I wanted more. It’s like having a little sassy life coach in your ear. You may be able to lose weight many ways, but Corinne teaches the right mindset. Thank you, Corinne!

Harsh language
Great content, love listening bud can’t listen unless I have on AirPods. The language is a bit harsh for anyone else to hear.

Wow! I never knew
I’m new to this program. All I can say is wow! I never knew… makes so much sense to me. But wondering.., what about drinking coffee in the morning, this is a habit for me. How about cravings? What about exercise programs??

Negative
Yikes. This woman is so negative and her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I felt like I was being yelled at the whole time. Her episode on weight loss meds is horrible. She is clearly in fear of drugs threatening her business and presenting listeners with every negative but of information she could think of.

Love this!
I may not agree with every idea Corinne has, but who cares, I take a lot from the podcast. As a life long yo yo dieter, I’m trying to get this done for the last time. A lot of what she says is helpful, particularly about mindset, which let’s face it, is most of the battle. And as a fellow potty mouthed girl, I love how Corinne talks. It’s all relatable. Thanks so much Corinne, you are the best!

Beyond grateful!!
I have never found a place that I can truly relate to when it comes to losing weight and all of the mental mess that surrounds it. Thank you so much for everything you do.

Authentic, REAL, no sugarcoating
By the grace of God I came across Corinne’s Podcast and I’ve listened daily since then! I’m 32yrs old and was sick of the same of crap, I wanted to feel beautiful in my skin again and not be embarrassed to just look in the mirror or be embarrassed for my husband to see me naked! I decided to take back control of my life and my weight! Corinne keeps it VERY real and it’s simple there’s no secrets you just DO and hold yourself accountable doing so! Some may take offense with her choice in words however I appreciate it! Thank You Corinne sincerely ❤️

Good info, awful language
I think she’s got some great info to offer, but couldn’t get past the constant foul language. It’s just completely unnecessary.

You kiss your mama with that mouth?
I want to be able to listen to this in front of anybody any age at any time… Not possible. You’ve got a lot to say I wish you would just clean up your mouth, I don’t want to unsubscribe, but I have to.

So powerful!
I love your authentic down to earth attitude. Your own journey is super inspiring. Thank you for showing other women what’s possible. You’re a powerhouse and I love your energy and desire to help others.

Bashing WW
How can you bash Weight Watchers when you had to join to lose your last 25 lbs? This is a good way to lose weight and you help lots of people however WW does also, they have coaches also 24 hours a day and just like your program you have to plan your food for the day. It really seems very similar. Just hate all the bashing

She Thinks Her Way is the Only Way
There are far better weight loss podcasts out there that take a more balanced approach and aren’t trying so hard to get you to follow their program and make money off you. I really wanted to like this one, but Corinne’s ego and “my way is the only way” attitude just became too much after listening to about a dozen episodes. I think it’s a huge disservice to people to say “if you don’t do x, then you’re not serious about losing weight.” I’ve lost far more weight than she has, and I can tell you that there are many ways to approach this, and they can all be successful. There are also SO MANY contradictions. She’ll say things like “calorie counting isn’t sustainable. You’re not going to be doing that when you’re 80.” But then a few episodes later it’s “you MUST keep a food journal that includes every tiny detail of your food, how you’re feeling and what you did or you’re not serious about this.” So taking sixty seconds to log food into an app is unsustainable but keeping a detailed journal forever is… different. How? Because it’s “her” way. She’ll also say “eat whatever you want and lose weight!” But then she’ll also talk about not eating flour or sugar. So I suppose it’s “eat whatever you want as long as what you want is vegetables with marinara sauce and dry chicken.” I also think it’s cringy how hard she tries to be the “sassy southern woman (TM).” Girl, if you have to say how “honest” you are three times in different words in just the intro, you’re trying too hard. We get it.
