Great Podcast! Listen all year and was helpful many times. I got eliminated from my playoffs because SGA and garland put up duds on Sunday night. Ended up losing by 30 points after being up whole week. Oh well. Was fun year and just wanted to say thanks. See ya next season!

This podcast gives an in depth look throughout the entire league each episode. I personally do not play Fantasy Basketball but do enjoy Josh’s takes and commentary more than other NBA podcasts. 5/5 would recommend to anyone interested in learning/playing Fantasy Basketball

Josh Lloyd is the Fantasy Basketball expert that you need to listen to everyday if you want any chance of winning your fantasy basketball league. He does it all! He gives you NBA player predictions, stats, historical information, trade scenarios and who to stream off the waiver wire to win each week. He also breaks it down by different fantasy leagues (Yahoo vs. ESPN, 10 team vs. 12 team, etc.) I listen to him religiously and he is almost always right. He’s also on YouTube and encourages “double banging” it which I do daily. Check it out fellow fantasy b-ballers!

But I still won my league last year because of this podcast. I listen to 3 episodes before my draft and have made the playoffs every year so far. Last year I was able to take down the championship without watching a minute of basketball all year. I only play to scratch my fantasy itch between football and baseball seasons. Highly recommend to any casual or hard core fantasy basketball fan.

Josh, you’re a five-star host. The drops are utterly unnecessary…but it’s your show, not mine…by all means, do your thing. Either way, I’d never be able to see this as more than a two-star production. It’s simple math; when listening to this channel, two-fifths of my time is rewarded with decent entertainment…and the other three-fifths is wasted listening to endless marketing (the rare combo of in-house AND shameless 3rd-party shilling). We’re all resigned to a world that includes advertising on the margins. Fine. Whatever. But to let it get to the point that it absolutely DESTROYS the product itself…it just doesn’t seem very bright. Having every four minutes of analysis interrupted by yet ANOTHER promo totally waters-down the flow. There has to be a better alternative; well, that is if you give any semblance of a you-know-what about the ‘consumer experience.’

I found this broadcast years ago. Love Josh’s basketball knowledge and expertise. Great sense of humor, love nick names and his occasional rants. I don not play daily fantasy basketball and really have no interest but I play computer basketball (strat o Matic) which is a league that operates as an NBA franchise. I have been in league over 10 years and I use John’s knowledge as my franchise scouting director because I trust his talent evaluation. Though we disagree on Will Barton’s talent. :) “So let’s get to it.” Strat Sam

Josh is one of the most entertaining, knowledgeable minds in basketball, a true leader in the fantasy industry. I have only missed a handful episodes in the last few years. He’s always prepared when dealing with injuries, buy/sell low/high players, schedules & long/short term adds & draft preparation. Once again, if you want to take your fantasy game to the highest level, I strongly recommend listening & supporting this podcast. Josh is the best analyst in the fantasy world and it’s not particularly close. I listen to him every morning and have been for 4 years. I’ve been in the championship 4 straight years. He dives deep into the stats and reads the data for you and gives you honest advice without being boring. He’s hilarious and it’s crazy that I start my day with this bloke but once you start you’ll understand why. Thanks for your dedication Josh!

Information, strategy, humor and entertainment. Josh is not only unrivaled in the fantasy basketball and overall fantasy advice community, but he is in a league of his own when it comes to daily sports content of any genre. Regarded as the best in his industry yet still underrated.

Listening since the early Red Rock days. Josh is without peer—the single authoritative voice in fantasy basketball. Rich, levelheaded analysis, game theory that is useful rather than speculative, ultra compelling personality and offbeat humor. I doesn’t get any better.

Josh is amazingly dedicated to producing fantasy basketball content. No one else comes close in both the quality and quantity of content he produces. I also love the sound clips he has for the players, it’s such a great touch.

I’ve been listening to you since redrock. I love what you do. I’m 51 and my buds and I have been in the same 10 team league for over 20 years. I watch when I can but I don’t miss a podcast. I love it and keep it up!

Been listening to this podcast for two years now and I credit Josh for finishing second last season and winning my league this season. He gets you an analysis of all the early games before the last game finishes, not to mention u get two new pods a day on Saturday and Sunday while all the other guys are taking the weekend off. Josh’s commitment is unprecedented and it’s most definitely an advantage against other fantasy managers who don’t have the time to watch all the NBA games or even highlights of the games. I just wish he would stop playing the Tyler Herro drop.

Josh Lloyd is the industry leader in fantasy basketball advice. What sets him apart is his information is quantitative and not based on emotion. No “do not draft” lists or “my guys” stuff but projections backed by data. It is why I am a Basketball Monster member and why this podcast is a daily listen during the season. My only complaint is this show is very ad heavy, something that has only gotten worse over the years. I hope Tegna is paying Josh a hefty salary, otherwise he should look at going out on his own or get Ken to give him an audio platform.

As someone with limited time to watch so many games, Josh Lloyd does a great job at summarizing players and performances from a fantasy perspective. His insight and humor has made fantasy basketball analysis fun and something to look forward to on a daily basis. He has helped many on this community and it is because of him that our 12 man league is so competitive since all of us are regular listeners. Thank you Josh for the consistency and for your hard work, you’re the GOAT in fantasy and a huge MUST ROSTAAA!!

Wow! Josh does amazing work and seems a great guy. Knowledgeable! Concise for the breadth of subject matter. Wish I had found this months ago whilst hoping not to many competing owners also find Josh.

You got a great voice and great info, so the sound effects are just unnecessary and jarring. They just distract from the pod, which is otherwise very good.

Love the podcast do the fact that Josh is very direct into the point it doesn’t go off script off the grid or go off onto a tangent like some podcasts and to do and I gets aggravating aside from the fact that the schilling of products and advertisements are a bit much and annoying I understand that’s how the bills are paid but doesn’t take away from the fact that still annoying but that could be fixed by fast forwarding nevertheless Josh keep up the great work as I’m a real fan!

Great podcast. Very helpful. I hadn’t watched bball in a few years before this season so i was clueless on draft day. I’m currently in 1st place with the most points in my league by far. At first Josh’s accent may be a little difficult to understand but luckily i speak Australian thanks to lots of Bluey and Wentworth on my TV.

This podcase has become a morning routine. Josh delivers great NBA insights in a playful but hard-hitting delivery. His knowlegde of the game is deep. Warning, there are sound bites/nicknames layered throughout - initially, I thought these were shock jock cheesey - now I can't imagine the show without them. Josh is the "Big Chungus" of fantasy basketball podcasts (that's a good thing).

Wasn’t a fan of the accent at first, and the talk was confusing as a newcomer, but you become familiar with it all. Now part of my daily routine to watch, love Josh and love his content.

An Australian accent and basketball talk, what else could a person need

The music sampling bits, bizarre nicknames, insights, rants, and thoroughness are a great combo!

I love your show but one thing that confuses me is what do you mean by like a certain basketball player would be good for a 8team league or A 12 team league?

This bloke does the best fantasy basketball pod I’ve found. He gives you tons of useful information and advice while keeping you entertained with his colorful Aussie expressions.

Long time fantasy football player, first time fantasy basketball player. Josh does a great job keeping it basic for us new guys, albeit also goes in depth with strategies for advanced players (I like to think I understand some of these as FF and FB have translatable properties)... very entertaining as well.
