The hosts do a good job thoroughly researching topics about work, changes in work, etc. However, it seems every single show has depressing undertones. There are fascinating dynamics happening across the US and world, but this podcast seems to focus the majority of its attention on the negative impact to people, the economy, increases in unemployment, etc. tried to listen to many episodes, but found it so sad.

I listened to four episodes, and it seems like everything about business/work is only getting worse. It needs a bit more optimism.

Just being recently introduced, I’ve listened to a few of the podcast and everyone is exactly as my title says thoughtful and enriching insight. I highly recommend this podcast.

I have only listened to a couple of the Work in Progress episodes as of this review, but I must say that every speaker has asked insightful and poignant questions about the subject and covered multiple perspectives without shutting down any single opinion. This podcast is completely transparent; it does not depend on hooks or clickbait to draw the listener in to an empty topic. Quite the opposite. If you find any of the topics even remotely interesting, I highly reccomend checking it out, as they often delve into possibilities that are unexpected and thought provoking. A fine example of top-tier discussion on relevant subjects for an uncertain world. Keep 'em coming!

"on the ground" reporting on how pretty big changes in the economy are impacting people's lives and the american economy. really interesting look that gets a lot of different angles in.

So excited to discover a podcast that's tackling of-the-moment issues while also bringing a fresh perspective to the conversation. The host is thoughtful and thought provoking. Can't wait for more episodes!

Very informative and fun to listen to. Fairchild is articulate, funny and smart; engages the listener at every turn. My husband said she is better than the interviewers we lsiten to on major cable news. I agree. I'd like to look at her AND listen to her when she is speaking. Know I am better informed having listened to this.
