Hilarious
This podcast is amazing, hilarious, and has the best intro song. Heard about them from LATCS and I’m a better person for listening.

The Age of Sigmar Roast
It’s funny and well done. Most of the funny is directed to crapping on GW creative design. Kind of makes me feel stupid for enjoying the hobby, when they get going. Check it out, then check in to therapy.

Fun and Funny and I'm so glad I Found This
After peeing a little from laughter at John Roy's take on Grant Morrison on Underculture, I figured I owed the dude a listen to whatever he had to promote. When it turned out to be a Warhammer podcast, that was icing on the cake. As someone who has been into Warhammer for decades now but no longer plays, this show cracks me up. I'm early in the episodes but describing the Khorne models with the top knots as being Primus fans had me dying. Its informative, funny and feels like I'm part of a conversation I wish I was having everytime I walk into a Games Workshop store. These two dudes clearly love the game, like each other and are so easy to listen to that this is my new binge podcast. Highly recommended. I can only hope that they tackle some 40K stuff. I would LOVE to hear their take on the Primarchs.

Cringey beggars
While they are hilarious and worth the listen the reason I write this review is because the cringey begging they always do. It’s kinda like when you walk by a homeless guy and you’re like “naw bro I ain’t got any change” and he’s like “Godbless” so you have to give the change you hand.

Best of Both Worlds
Love the comedy. Love the hobby. Combined it is a unique show that should not be missed. I found them through the Honest Wargamer and have loved it ever since.

I never thought that Warhammer could be this funny.
Listening to these two tell hilarious stories while I sit down to paint my tiny plastic skeletons and ghosts is the new highlight to my day. What truly makes them funny is that they allow the conversation to take detours and tangents that keep the humor genuine and natural. This podcast is truly needed in a hobby that all too often takes itself far too seriously.

Hilarious and informative
I don’t really fox with AOS or too many war hammer based games but that doesn’t matter. LOTPM is full of light hearted jokes, delightfully fun accents, and miniature painting talk that gets me all riled up. Beyond that I’m learning a lot about the game, the factions, and most importantly getting my toys off the table, mate. The Murder Dice family supports The Legends of the Painty Men and so should you!

F***ING Brilliant
Just wow. I am a casual gamer returning to the hobby after ~20 years. Needless to say my attitude toward the game is tempered. No desire to take it seriously. This podcast is fantastic. The tongue in cheek review is exactly what I am looking for. Episode 4, Kharadron Overlords review in particular just nailed it for me, and justified my interest in the faction. Love this podcast. You had me at aether.

One of my favorite podcast
Not a player or really even a fan of AOS but I love fantasy and comedy and this podcast has that in spades. Been a fan of Andrew since the old podcast network days. This is my first exposure to John but he is awesome and funny. Love hearing about the world and the battles. Have heard Andrew talk about his gaming for several years now and those stories were always great and this show expands on that. Keep up the good work and I hope you can work out time eventually to put this out weekly! -Clint O’Hare

Worth its weight in sand
I came for the Age of Sigmar, I stayed for the minotaur butts, and then I came for the minotaur butts.

A fantastic show for all nerds!
Even if you don't play Age of Sigmar, this is a fantastic and hilarious show. John and Andrew keep you laughing all while talking about their really interesting passion.

Such a refreshing and unique Age of Sigmar podcast
Legends of the Painty Men is a wonderful podcast that is a great treat if you love Age of Sigmar but understand its kind of absurd. Andrew and John are brilliant comics and I love hearing them talk about war gaming. Listening to this podcast is a treat. I hope that dude Dave actually paints his models.

So worth a listen
In the genre of extended bits about early 90s sensation the Spin Doctors and scantily clad murder Aelves, you will never find a finer podcast. These guys love the hobby and all the inherent ridiculousness that comes along with it. A great podcast and funny as hell!

A great take on the hobby we love
John and Andrew are just two funny guys that happen to share the Games Workshop hobby. If you like your hobby time grimdark and serious you probably won’t like this podcast, but I’d like to laugh with some friends while sharing a beloved hobby this is the podcast for you.

I’m Dave
I like how much I get talked about on this podcast, except when my unpainted models are mentioned. Dave

Unbridled Passion Abounds!!!
It's great to hear Andrew and John talk about their life-long, undying love for fantasy games and tedious hobbies. Although, their excitation about gaming seemed to not leave a lot of time for butt talk, but I'm sure they'll work it out as they settle in. Thanks, guys!

New favorite.
So excited! Great opening to the cast, loved all the fluff covered. Can’t wait for more, the community can use a little injection of straight up professional comedy. First review ever written but you’ve made an advocate of me gentlemen... ps. enjoyed how much you referenced the under-representation of women in the game, very interested in seeing GW take a more inclusive path in the very near future.
