Episode 7 season 7. Really popped for me. I am a Glassblower of 10 years and graduated a year long cyber security bootcamp almost a year ago now. I have spent over a year applying for all kinds of entry level IT/CS jobs and I have not gotten one interview.. I gave up. But a friend showed me this podcast and I am really hoping I can turn that around and get back to it. This show is great and am very glad I got to listen to this. Definitely going to listen to more. Keep it up!

As someone who is just getting started in programming you learn a lot from these interviews and get a boost of motivation when you learn how others were able to get into programming. Also great to learn what resources are out there for you to learn to code.

Where are the earlier season episodes?

After going trying a bunch of various podcast I think this to me is my favorite so far and I binged listened all episodes from the first 4 seasons. I honestly learned so much in so little time thru the various interviews and I feel like every minute spent listening was so worth it. Awesome host!!

I love Laurence and what she has done with the podcast. However, though there is good information, I find that a ton of the people that she is interviewing entered the market pretty early in tech, which was considerably easier than it is today. As a result, at least in my opinion, makes a lot of the methods of some of these guests obsolete. Yes, you can still learn and have success in tech, but the barrier for entry is much tighter.

Amazing Overview of the courses that are offered in the Toolbox! I would like to suggest that in the future you could focus a little bit (maybe just a quick mention) on which courses will give a certificate that you can actually add to your resume. I know it’s all about the hands-on experience, but for someone looking for financial help it could be very important to report what “tangible” results will come out of the product! Thank you for your amazing work!

She asks all of the questions that you’d want to hear about, details about how the interviewees transitioned into the career, how they found the needed resources, how long it took, etc.

I start most mornings listening to this podcast, it keeps me motivated and driven as I learn to code. So many helpful tips and inspiring stories! Laurence covers so many of the questions I want to ask myself and interviews such a wide range of people. I can't wait to listen each time a new epsiode drops!

I like what she’s doing but she spends too much time on promoting affiliates and talking too much about the person she is interviewing and their company. Not really what I was looking for. I would like more helpful tips and resources. It is called “Learn To Code”

Love this podcast! The podcast talks about all facets of tech industry, ranging from transforming into tech, handling tech interviews, and time management etc. A great way to start your day if you want to learn something new.

I love listening to all these stories.

After listening to a couple of episodes I realized that in addition to the sponsor stuff which is kinda acceptable, the whole rest of the talk is about advertising the company from which someone being interviewed from.

I just started listening in between seasons 4 and 5, and I’m happy that Laurence decided to go full force into the podcast and came out with a season 5. Because there weren’t any new episodes when I first subscribed I started back from the beginning, and I have loved almost every conversation. The first two episodes of season 1 got me all fired up, encouraging me to just go for it, and to start focusing my energy better. All signs point to “you can do this. You really can do this!” Great podcast, and great online resources. I hope you keep it up for 10 more seasons.

I am in the stage of changing my career education to coding. Listening your podcast about people who decided to change their career and became successful, that really inspires me and provide a lot of useful information. I usually listen your podcast while I am driving. I have much respect for what you’re are doing. Please keep up good works! I've done an exaughstive search looking for podcasts around coding that are geared towards beginners or people trying to take the next step in their career. This is one of my favorites. I always get good takeaways from the show, and Laurence is very approachable and fun and always asks the burning questions on my mind when she has her guests on. So far so good and I look forward to season 5!

As someone who has no idea how to code and completely starting from scratch, this podcast not only gave me the tools that I need but it also gave me a lot of motivation to want to continue to pursue this journey. I always like to know how things work and how they are before I jump into it and make a life commitment. I managed to finish all four seasons of this podcast in about a week and a half listening to it on double-speed. I can’t wait for season five when hopefully by that time I’ll have a lot more knowledge and hands-on experience programming and learning how to code. Thank you so much for this podcasts and I can’t wait to put all this knowledge to use.

I’m new to Podcasts, and to the Tech world in general. I wanted to try and learn about Coding as my kids are on a robotics team in their school. I plan on volunteering as much as I can to help them out and had no clue about the subject, but the title of this podcast caught my eye. I’ve just finished Season 1, and even though I haven’t learned one line of code yet, I’m totally thrilled about the possibilities for me and my children with our potential future in coding! Laurence has done an amazing job putting together a plethora of resources, and information for us newbies! I love her causal, down to earth interview style. I want to thank her, and let her know that I’m looking forward to catching up on the other seasons of Learn to Code with Me.

First off: I almost NEVER feel inspired to write reviews, but I feel like this podcast deserves my time and attention to writing something. I have been teaching myself to code on and off for a number of years, but never felt confident that I had the level of skill needed to earn money from it. This podcast has taught me that many of my fears and doubts are the same ones that many others share and that my skills ARE valuable and I CAN add value to an employer or clients. My confidence in my skills have skyrocketed tenfold after listening to some of these episodes. If you’re like me and you’ve stepped in and out of learning to code, but never felt like you could make a living: take a listen to this podcast and strap in for a world of insight. This has been the most encouraging part of my week for quite some time as I have begun learning to code. Super bummed the break is upon us. As a dad of two, working full-time, I decided to make my time for learning coding a priority. I’ve been able to create at least two hours a day for my studies and can attribute much of the inspiration to this podcast. Now I’m being considered as a candidate for the next junior dev job to open up at my company. Thank you for all the hard work you have done into creating these awesome interviews!

I just started listening to this podcast from the beginning and even though it’s now been a couple of years the tips in each episode are dead useful. If you’re learning to code or trying to get started in tech (either finding a job or starting a freelancing business) you will find these episodes to be full of helpful information. There are a variety of topics and guests and each episode so far has been well worth the listen. As a bonus, I’ve found the episodes to be very motivating as well!

I am just now entering into the wide world of tech. This podcast provides an awesome introduction to all the different facets within the industry and interviews a wide range of knowledgeable people who are passionate about what they do. Laurence asks all the right questions and is open about her own experience of getting into the industry. So happy to have found this!

This podcast gets you into one on one sessions you would live to schedule but that person does not have time for ... the CTO of ServiceNow for example. You get to sit in on about 30 minutes of one on one and hear questions you know you would forget to ask because you were too nervous to remember. If you are new to IT this is a great place to get started.

I've been listening to Laurence Bradford's podcasts for a few months now, and one theme comes up over and over: don't be afraid to learn to code. I always come away from the podcasts inspired to keep learning and expanding my horizons.

If you are even remotely interested in a career in tech, this is must have material. Laurence takes complex concepts and breaks them down into easily digested segments that make this content borderline entertainment. It should be possible to leave six stars for a show like this.
