Love this pod from Seattle’s NPR station, KUOW. I’m often too busy during the day to follow the news and so this is a helpful way to stay informed. And I really like the host, Paige Browning, she has a very natural tone… great antidote to the outrage machine that predominates commercial news.

This feed is SO much better now. They provide an episode every evening that’s a nifty roundup of local news. Keep it up KUOW!

I looked at a review by Corey that went back 6 years talking about the 1 minute snippets and I can tell its the same structure and the poor ratings continue. Its clear they dont value the feedback. I wont be listening.

Every time my phone looses connectivity I have to re open this app and listen to the same stupid 30 second ad again. I might be in a blind spot for just 5 seconds as I walk. So frustrating & irritating. Could you just make it ad free with listener support ?

I like the content a lot, but too many on-minute episodes a day isn’t a good format for me.

I agree that the format of this podcast is terrible. I’d much prefer a single podcast available daily with the top local stories. I enjoy listening to these stories on the radio, but managing the feed in podcast form is far too much work and makes it difficult to stream in the car. Unsubscribe.

Short news and Northwest-centered pieces, from Seattle’s KUOW radio. Episodes are published Monday through Friday. I often listen to podcast episodes that are half an hour to an hour or more. I love the fact that I can plan to listen to a stream of audio material of varying lengths. I arrange 2 or 3 short blurbs, like KUOW, then a ten minute podcast, then a longer show. The shorter episodes break up my listening into comfortable rhythms. I personally would like you to add weekend reports, but I love your podcast as it is. Thank you!

The full shows themselves are great to listen to. The over abundance of 1 minute show snippets from the show make this podcast feed too much hassle to deal with
