Good podcast. Very mysterious.

Jimmy Akin has a fascinating mind and his team puts so much research into the topics. He has helped me grow as a Catholic with his apologetics, but this content feels like a master class on how to think critically about some strange occurrences in our world. He treats each topic with the diligence it deserves and it is a great show!

Dom sounds like a robot

Great show. Love how they explore with an open mind various mysterious topics. Reminds me of the late great Art Bell’s show but with Catholic knowledge and expertise.

I love listening to Jimmy’s use of logic and reason in examining strange occurrences, and including the faith viewpoint. He applies logic and reason to faith questions as well, demonstrating faith is not in opposition to logic and reason. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Moogoogaipan is my favorite dish. Excellent podcast focusing on a range of strange and curious topics from the perspective of a very well informed Catholic. Akin is a treasure and his encyclopedic mind is unmatched!

Jimmy and Dom do an awesome job getting into the weeds of mysterious and challenging topics. Their rational approach, and their willingness to not immediately dismiss anything, but to subject questions to rational inquiry, as well as their willingness to look at things in light of reasonable faith, make this a really special show. Also, Jimmy and Dom are just great dudes who I’d love to have a beer and talk with.

My favorite podcast for long drives. I learn so much about fascinating real world mysteries. Jimmy and dom's presentation is both entertaining and educational, and I love how all claims are taken seriously and with respect.

My favorite podcast. First became a Jimmy Akin fan listening to Catholic Answers. Here Jimmy has tapped into that desire many of us have to discuss and analyze evidence of the supernatural right here in our world. And that love of mysteries too. (Wouldn’t we all be a bit disappointed to actually find Bigfoot?) And aliens. Are they real? Ghosts—I now know the difference between an apparition and a haunting! So much more!! If you find yourself reacting emotionally by Jimmy’s presentation because you feel some deeply felt belief is being attacked, listen to the entire analysis and then do your own if you’re not satisfied. My advice.

I have been a loyal listener for many years and have listened to all your podcasts but your aloof comments discrediting the miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe image left me shocked and saddened. I thought your comments were unsupported and single handling attempted to discount a well support and approved miracle of our faith. It has caused me to rethink your credibility. I feel your comments were undermining our faith. And I'm not sure if I can continue to follow your podcasts . Ever since I found this podcast (through listening to Jimmy on Catholic Answers) I can’t stop listening. The topics are fascinating and Jimmy’s thorough research and openness to finding the truth, whatever it is, is refreshing. Dom and Jimmy are a fun and affable duo that make this weekly foray into the strange and unknown a delight! Keep it up guys!

I love the research, detail and critical thinking that Jimmy puts into this podcast. The topics are always fascinating and make me ponder the world around me (seen and unseen) in a more profound way.

Referring to a medium as a credible source whom it’s fine to consult despite this being clearly contrary to Catholic morality? Some disturbing trends have me questioning the fidelity of the show to Church teaching. Despite the interesting topics, I have to unfollow for this reason.

These guys have radio voices. They discuss unsolved cases, conspiracy theories, forgotten scandals, intelligence agency mis-steps, bloopers, blunders, blasters, bufoonery & Baal worship (lolz) Show reminds me of Clyde Lewis or COJAC or Weve Read the documents. In other words , its a well done pod.

Jimmy and Don do an amazing job showing the weirdness of our world and how to think about it using all our God given gifts of faith and reason!

This is the most unique, well-researched, and interesting podcast available. This is the epitome of intellectual faith. Having “dumbed down” the faith for far too long, this podcast and others like Word on Fire are doing terrific work in showing the depth and height and breadth of faith, and how it can expand, or give life to reason. I am grateful for Jimmy and Dom’s work on this.

Their relationship maybe different to ours. In Revelations, John see creatures beside angels, and they are intelligent! A very, very good series, as is the related one on Star Trek. However, the first syllable is often lost each time someone begins speaking. I would guess this is caused by auto-ducking. Just turn that off and the recordings will go from very good to great.

Well researched and well produced. If you a history junky, love a good mystery or just enjoy learning more about life’s mysteries this podcast is for you!

An argument put forward by the hosts: a hoax cannot be a hoax if the hoax is more successful than the hoaxers could have reasonably predicted. That’s the shoddy, circular reasoning that makes it impossible for me to take this show seriously.

They’re analytical and fun. They cover a wide variety of topics.

Jimmy is a sage teacher. I’ve been listening since the episode count was in the single digits. The podcast has improved in production quality by leaps and bounds since then, but Jimmy’s approach has been consistently excellent from the beginning. You likely won’t agree with every one of his conclusions — a reality he acknowledges and frankly expects — but you will undoubtedly find yourself thinking more critically and analytically about the world after just a few episodes. If you’re looking for an intelligent podcast that always tells a story along the way, I can think of no better show than this one. Jimmy, unlike any other public intellectual out there, seriously and respectfully considers the theories put before him. He then sifts through the evidence and finds gold, i.e., the truth.

Enjoy listening to some of these topics while I am at work especially interested in the spiritual realm. Nice that you try to keep it open minded and play out what crosses peoples mind on some of these subjects.

Always helpful, always well researched. Jimmy has a gift for teaching, a gift of wisdom and a desire to be fair and truthful. On top of that, the topics are fun and interesting!
