Now I have a reason to watch them again. Thank goodness they're all on Netflix now, and that Netflix is available in Europe (I spend a lot of time there on business). I love Lani's way of thinking, and fell in love with her via her podcast The Scot and the Sassenach. Keep up the EXCELLENT work.

I love this podcast! I hadn't watched a single episode of The West Wing before this podcast, but Lani is absolutely brilliant! I could listen to her talk about story all day! And if I'm being completely honest, I could listen to Lani talk about ANYTHING involving story! Great podcast, I recommend to everyone I can!

I would probably listen to Lani read me the phone book, because she could make even that chipper and intellectually stimulating if she wanted to. I love love love that she's bringing us into the world of the West Wing for an hour every week instead. It is a warm, candle-lit bath for brain, heart and soul.

So happy Lani is back podcasting. As a published writer of novels, teacher of screenwriting, and experienced podcaster, she always has something interesting go say about story and how it is structured (I learn a lot). She's also funny and articulate and above all she is good people. Highly recommend.

Haven't watched the West Wing yet, but it's now in my queue! Found Dusted on the depths of a Buffy message board and have since listened to most of what Lani Diane Rich has recorded in podcast world. I would listen to her talk about anything, probably. Can't wait to dive in!

I'm super excited for this podcast from Lani Diane Rich! Lani is excellent as always. This is my first time watching the West Wing and I'm so grateful I will have Lani's story analysis along for the ride as I watch the show. Lani will look at episodes interspersed from the run of TWW rather than going in series order. I'm currently binging the show to be able to enjoy the podcast episodes on later TWW episodes.

I love West Wing and have been a big fan of the show for years. Lani's podcast is a great podcast for new viewers or seasoned Sorkin fans. It's lighthearted, it's poignant, and it's insightful. If you love West Wing, or stories, or a fun podcast about tv shows, please do yourself a favor and give this podcast a sub. She's the tops.

When times are hard it's great to have a show like this where we can dream and hope. Lani is, as always, a voice of intelligence, care and fun. West wing has always been one of my favorite shows. It's nice to have a chance to live in that world. Thanks Lani!!

Lani Diane Rich is a special talent, just starting out with her own media company. For years she's been the wisest and most perceptive TV podcaster out there, with a big heart to match her critical skills. Her analysis is at a grad-school level, but she's a sentimental fan at heart. She'll make you love and understand your favorite shows more than ever before, no matter how many rewatches you've done. And if she's covering a show you haven't seen, it's worth becoming a viewer just for the podcasts.

...at least for the hour or so each week I get to listen to Lani and her guest that week discuss the world in Sorkin's West Wing. The discussion and analysis is thoughtful, intelligent, and rewarding.

Lani focuses on in-depth character and story analysis. She and her guest hosts are all so insightful and delightful. It's particularly poignent in 2017. It's so nice to spend an hour talking about at what an idealized, actually functioning version of the federal government that genuinely tries to find the best action for all stakeholders would look like. (No political rants though - the podcast is focused firmly on the WW episodes, aside from a few generic lines in the intro and outro).

Unless she does. But it's extremely rare. Promise. NEVER. Or, almost never. Five stars. Also, The West Wing. That's cool, right? The West Wing. Yeah. So watch the show, and believe. This time for sure.

I am SO EXCITED for Lani's return to podcasting, and her love of this show is infectious! I cannot wait to catch up with her every week, and really get into the West Wing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast by Lani Diane Rich and guest host Daphne Olive. This is my first time watching the West Wing. I enjoyed listening to this discussion of the camera techniques and characters for the pilot episode. I look forward to future episodes.

The West Wing is timeless and incredibly relevant in today's political climate. Lani brings a cheerful (dare I say Chipper) voice to guide us through the pilot episode. Great insight into the production side of TV as well.
