Vicente Amigo
I love Vicente. Such great perspectives on the art of flamenco in the US. He brings great knowledge and lived experience to the discussion. I rate him #1 in his explanations. By the way, many California/Bay Area flamencos from back in the day (and to date) are Latino or Filipino. Of course a very different history than that of southern New Mexico. Also, only a tiny percentage of the American flamenco aficionados in Moron had ties to the military base. But yes, they tended to be a generally a very privileged cohort, dominantly white. ❤️☮️
