Middle aged British men cussing and taking about video games? What could be better?

Being American, I have a fleeting (at best) interest in football but the lads in the Firm keep me engaged and interested when “it’s football day” to the point I want to give Football Manager a try until I realize how bad I'd be at it. Also, the regular podcast is great.

I don’t give a lick about football but yet, these boys keep pulling me back in with “It’s Football Day”. For context these are episodes entirely about the game, Football Manager, and yet, I’m right there to take it all in. Additionally, The Endless Search will always be one of my favorite bits of podcasting that happens across all podcasts.

Im not a gamer, dont keep up with pop culture and I know nothing about soccer, but Its Football Day! is is even better than IGN UK’s full fat edition. Thank you for the work and time you put in week in and week out.

Hilarious podcast I’m a big ign fan but I’m an even bigger ign I’m fan here in the states you don’t have podcasts like this one it’s hilarious, informative and the gav’s bluntness makes it for me keep up the good world.

Ign crew has become somewhat way to fanboyish over the past couple of years. UK seemed to be the last good part of ign after all the talent left but now the hosts seem more Interested in talking about themselves and playing trivia.

A nice change of pace from all the US podcasts at IGN

Just wanted to drop a review. I think impossible to leave a review through the iPhone or iPad so don't take lack of reviews as a lack of quality. These guys are coworkers that seem like they are good friends outside of work as well. Great mix of videogame and movie reviews.

Needs more Krupa! He's entertaining, insightful, and hilarious!

When this podcast was younger, it was spectacular. They stayed on topic, talked knowledgeably about gaming and entertainment topics, and was light and sometimes humorous. I am catching up on the last ten (lots of other podcasts to get through) and this show has fallen from lofty heights. There are no women on the show anymore, they often bicker amongst themselves, and when they speak about topics they seem to lack any real knowledge about the topic they are speaking of which is sad. IGN is an entertainment website, they don’t seem to be subject matter experts about anything they talk about. This used to be one of the best IGN audio podcasts, now it easily the worse. Even worse than the travesty that is Podcast unlocked, and that show is horrible. At least they are subject matter experts on the things they speak about though on Podcast Unlocked.

By far my favorite podcast! Such a great and fun bunch of people that I always look forward to listening to. I actually had to stop listening for awhile so I could have a stash of episodes to catch up on. Thanks for always putting on a great show and keeping me laughing.

One of the best podcasts because of this tight crew's seamless transition/segway to other topics no matter how eclectic the topics are. Covering a lot of topics in a finite period of time. Enjoy how entertaining yet warm/familiar they are with each other.

The second best IGN podcast behind BEYOND!

This is now my favorite gaming podcast, great chemistry with the hosts and they always are on topic in regards to gaming. I'm a yank and it seems like other podcasts can get off track with other "hot news items" here in America. If I wanted to listen to that I would flip on CNN. Thanks for being funny, thoughtful and on point! Keep up the great work.

Not even from the UK and I love this podcast. In my opinion it's probably one of IGN's best podcasts. I only listen to NVC and sometimes Unlocked. I simply cannot stand that moron Greg Miller so I never listen to Beyond or Gamescoop and as far as I can tell I'm not missing much. I'd take these guys over the garbage the US office rolls out. Seriously Greg Miller needs to quit. He's a horrendous editor and a worse personality.

It took me a while to get into this because of those Brittish accents, but I got used to it. Nice to hear the opinions of the Brits!

I'm from the U.S. and have been listening to nearly all of the American IGN podcasts for about a year or longer, but I most enjoy the U.K. podcast. It has charm, great topics, intelligent discussions, and funny less intelligent discussions. The crew comes off as knowledgeable while still being entertaining.
