I do like the information provided. I think it shows there was time put into research just not what you typically get when you google person. Like the banter-relationship between the hosts too.

I wait with baited breath for the next installment, but if I’m ever feeling lonely - I just play Russian Roulette, spin my scroll and play whatever episode I land on. The quality and enthusiasm has taken a nosedive. I get the sense they would rather be doing other things. This podcast used to be their passion, but I have a feeling they’re grasping at straws trying to keep that passion going. The malaise shows through, unfortunately. A return to their roots—old Hollywood gossip—is always welcome and when they shine the most. The tepid tv show reviews (and especially the low-effort offerings on their patreon) need to go. Get back to research-heavy, obscure old Hollywood crime, ladies!

Ive been listening for 3 years now. It’s so zany and out there, just what I want in a podcast. Im listening to the Dec 11 Forensics vs Tv eps and yall are just like me, back in the day. I loved Forensic Files and A&E. Btw, American Justice on A&E was also a banger. Forensic Files came on Court Tv lol. I watched it in HS in the early 00’s when I was 14.

I love True Crime podcasts but what separates this one from the rest is that it is smart (very well researched) and funny!!! I literally find myself laughing out loud by the ad lib comments between Rachel and Desi. Thank you for putting out such a great show. Jacquie

Lots of great stories. Some podcasts are great! Other s really drag with waaaay to much meaningless chatter or repeating jokes ad nausum. Tighten up the podcasts then you will get 5 stars!

I disrupted my whole row on my flight from Orlando to Baltimore because I was laughing so hard during the Jack Frost episode. I swear these girls always sound like a couple chicks smoking pot for first time, and the ensuing cackling which follows. You would think annoying but oddly charming. Great chemistry between these two, and good researched content and subject matter. Absolutely one of my favorite podcasts, please keep up the good work.

Love Desi, but Rachel’s voice and lack of knowledge on everything outside of her shuttered Marin Taco Bell is hard to listen to. If she could talk at a semi normal pace, or learn new things instead of talking down to everyone it might work. I’ve tried it at a sped up pace, but she’s bad even at 1.25 or 1.5 speed

My absolute favorite podcast! Desi and Rachel are hilarious and I love the way they tell a story! I just had a good wheeze laugh over the “bad” reviews here. Keep shaking with rage weirdos! I’m a wife who is thankful for Desi and Rachel letting us in so we can listen to the pod and feel like some funny friends are telling us the hot goss even when it’s about an old timey crime.

Such a bad podcast, they suffer from TDS, like get over it and stick to the story🙄

And as a lady there’s nothing more unsettling than listening to women not being classy. These women say very revealing and unsettling things and have big mouths. My hands start shaking every time I listen to an episode. I suggest they stop and become WIVES like me.

This is my comfort podcast. When I’m down in the dumps, I just burrow under the blankets and listen to a few episodes or 20. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve scared my dog when I’ve burst out cackling. Hollywood Crime Scene is thoroughly researched, and despite being frickin’ hilarious, they still manage to be respectful to victims and the severity of the subject matter. I really want to write a ten page review about how much I love this show., but you should just listen to it already!

Hello! I loovvveee all of your epsiodes! Thank you for making these crimes so entertaining to hear about. Can you do an episode on Bobby Driscoll? A lot of people have never heard of him before but he voiced Peter Pan and Disney betrayed him horribly and he grew up going to jail and he died a mysterious death when he was 31 because of drug addiction. He has such an interesting crime story and would love to hear your thoughts!

Easy going and entertaining. I honestly think I have more fun listening to their mini episodes. They’re always a little pick me up when I just don’t feel like I can listen to anything else. Makes me feel like I’m just hanging out with my girls. The off the wall news stories are fantastic. The television shows and movie reviews are great. I’m a foodie too and absolutely love the food discussions. They are important to my soul. 😄💕

I really enjoy the fun feel of the show. The hosts have a way of making topics that are often dark a bit lighter with their perspectives on the episodes. These two are more engaging than a majority of true crime podcast hosts. Well done! I look forward to hear future episodes!
