I have been a listener for years, first for the Bachelor content, but still get so much joy and resonance from Claire and Emma’s content long after I stopped watching The Bachelor. I LOVE their coverage and analysis of rom coms, and famous relationships. I would honestly listen them talk about any topic. It’s great when they get guests - recently LOLed at the one on Irish Wish - but also great when the two of them are talking to one another.

Stop drop roll. Fire! Stop drop roll. Fire! I like, HATE IT. These women would mock this theme song if it weren’t their own. I’m sure they never listen to their own show and therefore don’t realize how bad it is. Ladies, please listen and rethink. I’ll contribute to a fund to buy a new intro song. It’s got.to.go.

I love you girls, but today is the most important day and where is your podcast? You’re always here Tuesday morning but you’re not and it’s the finale and I missed it last night and I’m trying to avoid every media but where are you for me 😅😅😅😅 hope u are ok 🙏

I tuned into joey’s season of the bachelor after falling off several years ago. I don’t have a ton of friends who watch but I found myself wanting to hear from others to see if people felt the same way I did or point out things I missed. A friend forwarded me this podcast and I found myself looking forward to this podcast as much as the show itself. Light, fun and insightful commentary without being mean spirited. Thanks for being the right region of bachelor nation for me!

I watch the show because I look forward to this recap pod. It’s more than gossip, they bring a sociological and feminist analysis of a pop culture phenomenon. Claire and Emma are smart, kind, and critical. It has helped me build my confidence in relationships and trust that I know what I deserve following along now since my early 20s.

This bachelor podcast is okay. I prefer a couple others and don’t love the strong feminist view which I understand that this is kind of what their podcast is about. I kind of just listen while I’m waiting for my favorites I come out on Wednesdays.

I can’t even listen to this weeks podcast after expressing how you wished Kelsey a talked about something else but her mom. I find that terrible and now that she focused on her mom again I can’t imagine what they will say. When you lose a family member too soon, no matter how much time has passed nothing makes that feeling go away. You think about your family literally everyday. I appreciate that she talks about her mom because the conversation about that isn’t done after one convo. What, do want her to talk about the same surface level thing about feelings? Daisys convo about her not falling was so surface level. Her mom passed away two years ago in such a critical time in her life. Crazy to think that that’s not what she talks about all the time. 2 years after losing your mom is no time at all and probably feels like yesterday. She is being shaped by this event. I will not be tuning in to this weeks episode because if they talk about how they wished her home town was focused on something else I can’t take it. She is beautiful and is allowed to talk about her mom as much as she wants forever, period.

Love Emma and Claire! My go to every Tuesday after bachelor! They aren’t jaded by bachelor producers like all the former contestants and they tell it like it is!

This is my favorite bachelor(ette) recap pod! I get excited to watch the show BECAUSE I get to listen to Claire and Emma after. I really enjoy the humanity and insight they bring to reality tv.

If you can get past the horribly written/performed/executed theme song, the commentary is witty, charming, and insightful. By far my favorite podcast that covers Bachelor Nation!

I didn’t find it a good example of feminism to suggest that putting JoJo in a fat suit would make her unattractive. That’s body shaming. Of course, it’s hard to be perfect, and I appreciate that you always try to call out these things. Many times you make me realize what is not feminist and that I was giving a pass to. So, you still deserve five stars, but I just wanted to point this out. You might say I’ve been listening and learning. I do enjoy your show.

Love these girls. They always take their time to have a measured, compassionate, intelligent take. Honestly sometimes I wish they were a little more petty (lol) but they keep me kind. Keep on doing what y’all do best!

I love Emma and Claire! Their observations about the Bachelor franchise are so accurate and I love the feminist perspective. “We can’t live with these shows and we can’t live without them.” Is my favorite line of the intro because it’s so true! Sometimes you just have to laugh about the way the world works (or doesn’t work) as a woman. This show puts a fair spotlight on the inequalities that exist while also being sensitive to issues the hosts may not personally experience. I appreciate the example being set and the entertainment this wonderful and thoughtful podcast provides! Keep it up! Oh and please do a movie episode about The Proposal and The Blind Side. I would love to hear what you would say about those two!

I feel like they don’t actually like the bachelor/ bachelorette. I couldn’t get through an episode.

I would have quit on the bachelor years ago but I just love hearing Claire and Emma’s takes and humor. This is my favorite podcasting duo!

This is one of my favorite recap, pop culture, hate-the-patriarchy podcasts. I usually don’t have time to watch the shows, but I listen to Emma & Claire when I’m nap-trapped or up in the middle of the night with my newborn. They help me feel connected and make me laugh when I’m the most exhausted. Love to see (hear) it.

I’ve been a long time listener and it’s a decent podcast. However the episode where they reviewed the cast for Joey’s season threw me. I’m a soccer mom and I voted for Biden. I thought they were extremely rude about the girl who worked at the White House during Trump’s presidency. Just because you don’t agree with someone politics doesn’t mean you have to put them down like that. It was serious mean girl energy and it was giving anti-feminist. Sounds like you only support women who agree with you. I’m proud to be a soccer mom and I did NOT love to see this. Bye ✌🏼

Grow up and stop it with the “are they hotter/more beautiful/more gorgeous” on Instagram on your Bachelor cast bio reviews. Really goes against your whole brand and let’s stop judging women based on their physical appearance.

This used to be my favorite bachelor recap podcast because of the feminist take on the bachelor franchise. With the last couple of seasons it has become unlistenable. They hate everything about this show and everyone on it so I’m not sure why they’re still recapping/ watching? It’s one thing to make a snarky comment here and there (the bachelor is fun/ easy to make fun of) but there have been many episodes where they don’t have one positive thing (not even nice just positive) to say the whole two hours. It’s become so painfully negative that I had to unsubscribe after listening to the most recent episode for joeys contestants. They just sound so mean and hateful. The cast bios are clearly written with the help of producers and they are heading in a more jokey direction with the bios and it’s obviously not intended to be analyzed and taken seriously the way that they are. It just makes them sound unintelligent and frankly a tad jealous when they are so insulting and mean to the women based on the on their bios.

I have been listening to your podcast and have enjoyed most of them. But your only reason to put down a contestant for Joey was that she was pictured with Trump when he was President. Wow way to go on being open minded. I voted for Obama once. Not twice So try to look beyond the Democratic bubble. You would be surprised at who you might meet. I am a pro choice. Pro do whatever lifestyle makes you happy … pro Israel 🇮🇱 sometimes Republican

Great breakdown and honest critique without demonizing or bullying. They usually have great and extremely relevant guests. I actually miss this podcast when the bachelor is not in season. I'd listen to them every week.

I love this podcast and listen every week—even to the episodes about Paradise (a show I can’t bear to watch). One of the things I enjoy most about this pod is the way the hosts talk about their own identities as viewers. It makes the conversation interesting and gives it a personal feel. A great pod for people who watch The Bachelor but don’t necessarily fit into the worldview it promotes. Thank you Emma and Claire (and Leigh)!

One of my favorite bachelor nation recap podcasts. These ladies are hilarious, intuitive & very forward thinking. I always enjoy their takes on the various shows they discuss. Recently I was sad to hear that Emma got an email wanting her to keep her Jewish heritage to herself. How sad that people are so ignorant. I’m not Jewish, but I love all things Jewish from kosher foods to Yiddish to learning everything about holidays of the faith etc. Please share more whenever you want. Love you guysss 🤗

Had to pullover and shout my support for Emma’s/the pod’s statement at the top of this week’s podcast. I love this show because it is an inclusive, feminist take on a show full of red flags. Thank you for sharing with us.

The best bachelor nation recap podcast. Yes they are political, but they know their audience. It’s not for everyone and honestly bachelor nation is so skewed right that it’s nice to hear some lefties out there. I agree with most of what they say, sometimes they’re a bit too much even for this lefty but hey we don’t have to agree on everything all the time. I love them and they crack me up, like listening to friends 💜

I’m a longtime listener of the show, but recently have taken a step back. I absolutely loved the structure of the podcast and loved how well read Claire and Emma seemed to be. However, the hosts have truly become mean girls. They have a very limited worldview and make almost everything political. Any opinions or beliefs that don’t line up with their own are completely rejected and scrutinized. Also their take on Gerry was extremely unfair. Gerry didn’t put Leslie in the position to get her heartbroken on national TV, she signed up for the show all by herself. The Golden Bachelor finale recap is where they truly lost me. I’m hoping this podcast gets better but for now, I’m taking a step back and unsubscribing.

I think they gave Gary such a bad rap on this episode. This is what the bachelor has been. People breaking hearts! So Gary chose someone who could relate to his losing his wife? What’s wrong with that? I’m older. I would probably at my age, choose the safe bet too and someone who has a similar history as me. Very different then younger people perhaps, but you were way too hard on him. He managed the situation, was as honest he could be under pretty stressful, perhaps artificial situation, IMO.

I’ve loved this podcast for a while now, but the finale episode was rough to listen to. The hosts seem like maybe they were Leslie’s daughters, and just were rooting so hard against Teresa? And the guest couldn’t stop diminishing the effect that the loss of a spouse has on a person- unless you are speaking from experience it just seems cruel to criticize that it would be important for someone looking for love after loss. I dunno, the drastic swings in attitude and approach recapping this episode left me with a bad taste.

I was so excited to hear you two talk about the finale, but I was so disappointed by your guest — she was insufferable. There have been a few guests now who absolutely dominate the conversation, bringing extremely harsh criticism but not much else. It’s miserable and totally unnecessary. No one asked for this.

There are tons of Bach podcasts out there but LTSI is a podcast with a different take. They consistently balance recaps with well thought out opinions and perspectives. It’s a great listen and I never miss an episode. We need more podcasts like this!

Theresa is the better choice but Joan would have been the best

Recaps and analysis that are always excellent and thoughtful but today’s included some thing I haven’t heard before! I didn’t know I was missing hearing from someone in their 60s give a critical analysis of the Golden Bachelor! Michelle Herman was very interesting and offered alternative views that all three Podcasters debated. Definitely one of the best!

Everything is so political. I’m sorry that you can’t accept that anyone with views that don’t line up with yours 100% can still be a valuable person. They’re just so mean for no reason. They take problem with literally EVERYTHING. Holy moly.

Sounds like my rambling and misinformed out of touch mother but more east coast snobby. Almost unsubscribed this season due to awful guest choices. More GOR type of guests and less of snobby reporters please

Love this pod, but the guest on the women tell all recap was unnecessarily negative and overly critical. She completely sucked the joy and positivity out of the air during this recap. This whole season’s recap has been so wholesome and full of love and this guest just destroyed that. I know the next recap will be much better but did want to note this.

Sorry, I’ve been enjoying your reviews to have a little escapism from my commute, but I’m telling you, it took less than 10 minutes for me to turn this dud of an episode off. Your guest sounds like an arrogant coastal elitist that had too many kale chips for lunch. My god! Please for the love of god do not have her back on.

Much prefer the episodes that are just Emma and Claire (or Lee)! The guests are unnecessary in my opinion.

Loved the recent episode recapping the golden bachelor but did not like Michelle’s points. Her comment about the women’s fashion choices was out of line as well. Women should be able to wear whatever they want, including sparkly and colorful dresses.

I am a regular listener (closer in age to the golden bachelor contestants) who was completely turned off by Michelle Herman’s constant interruptions and negativity. Please don’t subject us to that again.

The odd comments about the dresses the women were wearing…too many tangents and disagreements with the hosts… painful to listen to this weeks podcast
