Can’t add this to a long list of nickel and dime charges to my media consumption. Don’t mind commercials, but if I got a subscription to every interesting thing? I’d have to lock myself down to listen to everything. Wouldn’t be able to leave the house.

Seems to have sold his soul the ratings mafia, the more i whip people in to fury the higher my ratings will be … whoooopee! Not sure how guys like this even have their own podcast, sheesh. Clyde works very hard to provide his audience a different perspective in news worthy topics. He also will let you know about what is not being said in the news. I have listened to him for years and it amazes me how he can talk about a possible conspiracy and really make you think about what to believe and what not to believe. He will sometimes make a prediction and a week later it’s actually becomes true. He is not one sided and is someone I find worth while to listen to every night.

I found Clydes show during the pandemic and have never looked back. He’s taught me so many things and opened my eyes and made me question my own belief snd outlook on so many topics. Things I’ve learned from the snow I had heard about but never truly investigated myself. Clyde is knowledgeable, resourceful and gives you facts! If you want to truly learn something from someone who is politically neutral and just want hear truth then listen to the show. My only regret is that I didn’t find him years ago! Keep up the good work Clyde!

While Clyde can have an entertaining show now and then he plays awful fast and loose with facts. He’s the King of Hyperbole and overstatement, wallowing more in fear porn that truth.

Clyde is the master. If you don’t rethink everything after listening to just his intro each night, you may lack some critical thinking skills. Do yourself a favor, and listen.

It’s a great show! Clyde Lewis does a really good job of tackling the deeper issues going on in the world right now. Keep doing what you’re doing and God bless.

I like the show just sad now we have to pay and I can’t afford it

Man I used to listen to Clyde all the time until he started being political. I know he spoke about governmental stuff and that’s awesome. But it’s over the top the last couple years every time I pop in that’s what he’s talking about Not saying he’s taking sides but man Who are you speaking to when your talk like that:::: Its your show you do what you want. But it’s Lame when you talk about political politician’eal crap. Boreen I might as well turn on Fox News or CNN or some crap…..

I love Ground Zero, it’s the best thing going since Art Bell left the airwaves. For those of you whining about having to pay, it’s $5, give me a break. Entitled babies. Do you work for free? If not, don’t expect Clyde and his staff to. They deserve to be rewarded for the fruits of their labor. It’s called capitalism, and I love it.

I have been a listener for over 8 years and I mainly use an iPhone. Recently the shows have been cut to 12 min. I the. Went to aftermath because I couldn’t miss the show and now there is a fee. I paid the fee because I love the show but the app and any of the live listening options are janky and hard to use. I prob will be cancelling my subscription. I should not lose the ability to use an iPhone podcast app. The current aftermath app doesn’t even play in the background like the regular podcast. Please figure this out it your show was to good and I miss how I used to listen gl it.

I have listened to this podcast for years, I’ve been a loyal listener and supporter of the program. That’s changed since there is a 12 minute podcast that is released. Definitely not worth subscribing to or taking time to even listen to.

Been listening for several years on FM 101 Recently Ground Zero quit broadcasting from this station in Portland.. I LOVE THIS SHOW .. But can’t see myself paying for something that’s Available for free ... sorry ..

Pretty much before this pay to play move his shows started just one big commercial for his sponsors. This was the only way I could listen to the radio show but I guess Clyde needs money Radio must not pay that well. Been nice knowing you I am getting tired of everyone now wanting subscription fees radio is getting bad as cable tv. Didn’t someone say Greed is the root of all evil?

I love this program, but I only get to listen to it once in awhile I’m really bummed that it’s not free anymore. I would pay the $5 but like I said I only get to B listen occasionally. Not worth it. Sorry.

Thanks to BeerFlu2020 my industry is shut down. However before this I would listen to Ground Zero as I would drive long haul. I am very saddened that Clyde Lewis has taken this to pay only, I will miss him greatly. He was the only person talking about BeerFlu in January of 2020. He told his listeners what was going to happen, and it did! Hope he realizes that he is not the only one that lost income in the Scamdemic, and...never mind, just know the show was great and like a fat girl, they need love too, but they gotta pay...now you pay...thanks for nothing. I was telling everyone about Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis, how he was my co-pilot eleven hours at a time, but now, Lewis, you have kicked all of us in the teeth during the most trying time in history. I shall always wish you well, but I have been out of work since 9 March 2020, thank you for monetizing information!

I used to like the show... but I totally hated the montages. I’m not going to pay to listen. I’ll just listen to somebody else.

Loved this show for years, especially when I work late in the summer. I’m a $4.99 subscriber now, can listen anytime. The biggest obstacle I had to subbing was the laziness of not wanting another username and password and entering another payment method etc etc. Don’t be like me. Don’t be lazy. Sub up and listen. Support the show!

Nothing more than just samples of the show; not worth downloading.

I started listening to Clyde in the Fall of 2015 while on 3rd shift. He has a great variety of shows. Some I love and some I’m not too interested in. Usually I agree with him, sometimes I don’t. But that’s just me. The show is great with a lot of different guests and POVs. A lot of people complain about the Aftermath site and the $9.99 a month ($5 if you just want the podcast). I gladly pay it. This man does at least FIVE long format shows for us every week. I’d pay double. Keep up the good work! I’d like to add this after reading some of these reviews, it might sound like I’m jock-riding, but I don’t give a f—. One of the things I like about Clyde is he’s a man with a family, and this is his JOB. Just like I gotta hear about people say “It’s hard times, I can’t afford $5 a month...”. Then you should understand he also needs to supplement his income. He’s an approachable person around town from what I hear. He’s not a George Noory or some other hosts that are more like celebrities. I see Clyde as a guy that is very intelligent and gets on the air and speaks his mind. If you disagree with him (like I sometimes do), and you can’t handle it, then go on somewhere. If you’re too weak minded to put someone else’s opinion up against yours, that’s your problem. Just because you’re so down trodden you can’t afford $5, that doesn’t mean the CONTENT of the show should get a one star review or a few nasty sentences. People like you are the definition of snowflake, as overused as it is. If you haven’t heard this show, give it a chance. He puts a lot of time and effort into it and there aren’t many out there as sincere.

I love GZ and have listened to it for years and even called in once or twice but I have to say I hate the idea of entirely locking the show behind a paywall. I could understand early access and also understand a man has to get paid. I just think there are better ways to go about it like maybe streaming the show on a site like Dlive, Twitch or even YouTube and allowing people to donate throughout the show. Maybe even have a segment at the end where you read out the donations. Just a thought but it is sad to miss one of my favorite shows out there.

Bring back the full episodes, please!!! We miss you.

Update: as expected, instead of working to get sponsors, he berates his listeners and goes behind a paywall. Becoming irrelevant. Constantly begs for money. Inconsistent garbage. Yells at callers for differences of opinion. Hours of feeling sorry for himself. I feel worse about the world every time I listen to him.

Really Clyde!

Realized I have barely heard Clyde in the last few weeks because the episodes are just snippets now.

Before the pay-wall went up Clyde had a show that was interesting, and it kept me listening everyday. There are Alternatives to Ground Zero that seem to focus more on the good stuff and not on the political grandstanding. Mysterious Universe is just one of those podcasts. That show has an hour and a half long show then an extended edition for subscribers. Great format and great content. Thanks to Clyde Lewis for driving me to other shows.

I looked forward to every podcast until Clyde his behind a paywall. You could have added some commercials in the podcast. I’m not paying for content but I did buy from your advertisers.

Loved the format and content, but I have to admit the recent turn in social media content has ruined the fun. It seems to be catering to a right-wing base instead of the “everyone is a lizard” view. I understand it’s Clyde’s show and he can talk about what he wants. If this is the route, we’re growing apart.

I have listened to GZ and other podcasts faithfully. I am extremely disappointed GZ has become so commercialized and now expects faithful listeners to pay for the right to listen. Clyde and ground zero are American treasures. I wish I could get more than a preview, but then again everyone (even Clyde) needs money to survive. I’m left to choose- Spotify account or ground zero... sorry Clyde, I’m a slave to the metal.

Loved this show and listened to this podcast every day! Until someone made a horrible decision and decided we only needed a blurb of the show and if you wanted to hear the whole podcast then you need to pay $5 a month. Not all of us have the $5 a month to spare...just so disappointed that money means more than his faithful listeners😢

I’m selective about show topics so buying a subscription isn’t worth it to me. Ever since Clyde decided to make listeners pay for content I don’t listen anymore. I’m on the east coast and I don’t get to listen when it’s live. Downloading shows I was interested in was perfect.

I love the podcast as many fans do, but charging money loses my interest quick. Many methods to make money instead of alienating the fan base. It was a 5 star podcast...No more. Coast 2 Coast AM did this years ago and it was the death nail for them too imo as well. Get the $ somewhere else.
