I almost passed out when I saw this show came back, thank god. It was one of the first podcasts I ever listened to.

Awesome
Just found this podcast and am loving reliving all the episodes with different perspectives. I feel like I’m talking so to friends when I listen to these on my commute to and from work.

Happy to see a new ep

!
I let out a “Zack and Kelly chastely kissed” audience WOOOOOO when I saw a new episode in my feed! I’ve stayed subscribed since I found this in 2015. Still a staple listen. April for Homecoming Queen - we know she doesn’t drink and drive !!! Anyway, love it, feel free to redo them all (not that they need redoing, I just love listening to you talk SBTB)!

I love Saved By The Bell
What a great podcast! Unfortunately, I found it several years after the last episode, but I am on my second time through! Love April Richardson!!

It’s Allllright!!!
Episode by episode breakdown of one of the 90’s all time coolest shows!! I love every episode, but episode 078 is BY FAR my favorite. So many comics come on the pod and kind of hate on the show and April always puts up a stellar defense, but when two of them who absolutely love the show have a blast reminiscing and reviewing, the nostalgia is a total blast! Thank you, April and every single guest star you had on for this incredible recap of my whole childhood!!

Time out!
Holy crap, this is the most amazing podcast ever! Reliving the best show of my youth while picking apart every cringeworthy moment of it. The episodes with Paul F. Tompkins cannot be beat. But truthfully they are all gold. Way to go!! Go Bayside!

So fun and enjoyable!
I listened to this podcast when it originally came out and recently did a relisten. It’s even better than I remembered! So fun to reminisce! I will probably relisten more in the future. It would be awesome if April came back to do more episodes by doing the College Years or the New Class, but if she doesn’t then I’ll at least have these to continue to relisten to.

Wish there was more!!
Would love to see April come back and do college years or something— I would love it!

April Richardson is hilarious
By far the best podcast! I listen to these over and over and cannot stop laughing. I was literally crying during the Zach and Kelly wedding with Paul F Tompkins….Jimmy Pardo’s episodes are hilarious too.

Another liberal podcast (rolls eyes)
The social justice warriors strike again. In trying to point out racial insensitivity‘s, all these hosts do is drive the divide further and further between us. Especially during these times, this is about the last thing you want to hear when you turn on a podcast about a 90s comedy sitcom. Pointing out the obvious and what was not as sensitive an issue, doesn’t make you some progressive witty commentator. Somehow with all her guests only libs make their way onto the show. Constantly talking about brown people and how coded everything was. Really not an enjoyable listen... PS I hate dems and republicans... you’re both messed up in the head.

Awful!!!!!!
She doesn’t even understand the storyline of the show. Comments are ridiculous. Not a real fan as she hasn’t even watched the college years but feels she can comment on the wedding in Las Vegas. If you watched the college years you’d understand the Vegas wedding. Waste of my time!!!

Love it so much that I re-listen
I love Saved By The Bell and it’s very clear that April Richardson loves the show too. It’s a very funny podcast that has absolutely no problem critiquing this ridiculous show from the 90s while still showing appreciation for it. I listened to every episode and have gone back to re-listen! I have to mention that the Paul F Tompkins episodes are my favorite and I have listened to each of them close to 10 times.

I have never seen an episode of Saved by the Bell and now I don’t have to. This podcast is so much fun. I love it!

Gimme Gimme
Oh man... after going through a podcast about 90210 series, I knew Saved By the Bell was next. First off, April Richardson is hilarious and I love her laugh, which boggles my mind that some people find it annoying. I love how real she is and that she doesn’t try to pretend like she knows everything. I wish I would’ve listened when it was fresh, but during COVID, this has given me more laughs than anything else. Jimmy Pardo and Moshe Kasher have me laughing hysterically through their episodes. Sure, there are times when the guests are super racist and sexist, but I get that it’s comedy. Stand up comedy has never been my thing, but this show has made me want to get into comedy and explore April and the guests’ podcasts and shows. Well done.

Still hilarious.
This podcast has been over for over a year and yet I still find myself wanting to listen to it because April and her guests have SO much fun. I keep “Class Rings” around for when I need an extra boost during workouts.

If you like SBTB on any level, this is perfect
The premise of the show to analyze every episode of Saved By The Bell very very closely. The execution of that is amazing -- absurd plots, what were the writers thinking, the inconsistency of who's dating who, where did Tori come from, what's the business model of The Max? April is the best podcaster -- so funny, keeps to the loose format of the show well, and consistently gets really funny guests. And the tangents she and the guests get into are hysterical. I listened to the whole podcast in two months, laughed so hard, and laughed again re-watching the episodes after listening. So so funny.

If you are reading this, you have a gem of a pod on your hands
One of my favorite podcasts of all time. It’s light, and packed with laughter wire to wire.

Yep!
A great walk down memory lane for any child of the 90's. I thoroughly enjoy it. You won't need to rewatch the episodes, every ignorant scene will be retrieved from the septic tank of your brain as they walk through them...its pretty great.

Laugh Out Loud!
Some people rewatch tv shows for background, I re-listen to April and all the great episodes of my youth. Thanks for hours and hours and hours of entertainment.. it never gets old!

Years late but hooked
I listen to this podcast just like I watch saved by the bell... over and over... especially my favorite episodes. I finally have someone to judge saved by the bell with while also enjoying the show!

Goes downhill
I started off loving this and laughing so hard. By season 2 of the actual show, it just becomes a slam fest. I feel like she stops understanding the show and takes it a bit too seriously. Some episodes are complete slams on the show, I thought you were a fan???

Great stuff
Love Saved By The Bell, love April, love the pod.

The best
I love Go Bayside. April is hilarious and smart. If she didn't hate academia so much I'd say she should write an American Studies Masters thesis on SBTB. I've listened to every episode at least twice. April has awesome guests and the discussions have led me to a much deeper critique of SBTB than I performed while watching reruns in junior high.

Great job April.
This podcast legit helped me during a time anxiety and depression. It’s companion during the day while I’m unemployed. Lifts my spirits. April Richardson is fantastic and I have greatly enjoyed her work on this podcast. She's seems super cool and I like hearing antidotes. Don't mind her repeating herself either. if you enjoyed SBTB you will most likely enjoy. Listen!

Go Bayside is super rad!
I watched SBTB religiously as a kid. I share April’s experience, I also spent 2 hours with the gang every afternoon. I listened to one episode of this podcast and was hooked. I started from the beginning and in a week listened to the whole series. It is absolutely HILARIOUS. She has one of those laughs that makes you laugh. It is so infectious! Listening to this show makes me feel like I’m hanging out with an old friend. Even if you haven’t really seen the show, this podcast is essential listening for comedy fans.

A Little Less Red Bull Would Help
I was very excited to listen to this podcast, being such a huge Saved By The Bell fan. I do appreciate the concept, the fact that there even is a SBTB podcast, and the effort put into this. That being said... I tried to listen to several episodes, and I could barely make it through 30 minutes. Everyone is so overly hyper, the convo is all over the place, and it's actually very irritating that it seems like there is no structure whatsoever. The host just laughs and giggles random crap more than actually talking about the show, and she obviously is very confused. It doesn't do the series justice, and I'm pretty sure I don't need to listen anymore to guess that they are all this way. Hopefully if this is ever rebooted, maybe doing a complete redo could give this podcast a chance to redeem itself.

It's all right. We've all been saved...
Nostalgia is big business right now and I have to say, I'm usually pretty skeptical of product that seeks to exploit it. Fortunately April Richardson is a totally rad host and, has a lot more to offer than simply, "Hey, remember this?" What I love about Go Bayside! is that there's not an ounce of irony in the whole affair. The host is an unapologetic uberfan who, while always acknowledging the flaws of Saved By the Bell, revels in them as well. Her enthusiasm is infectious, intact even in the face of the most vehement denigrators. I'm sad the podcast has run its course and severely hope Richardson returns with another--in my dreams, it'll be one co-hosted by Paul F. Tompkins, with whom she has a brilliant rapport.

Yeah, Bayside
I don't want to admit that Saved By the Bell is one of my favorite shows, so I don't want to admit that Go Bayside! is one of my favorite podcasts. But both of those are true. If you dig the former, then you will love the latter. It's a fantastic mix of innocent ethusiasm in a bloody collision with jaded sarcasm. And it still blows my mind that Tony Visconti was a guest - he and April are fantastic, yet Bowie never comes up, and Bolan doesn't until the last few minutes. There is some rarified gold for you.

Great host, great guests!
I'm still in season one but I love this podcast. I can't wait to hear what April will deliver next.

Love it!
This podcast makes me so happy. I struggle with bipolar depression and this podcast lifts me up when I'm feeling down. I'm 27 and grew up watching re-runs religiously. This show and Batman The Animated series inspired me growing up. SBTB has a very special place in my heart as whacky as it is. It's a great podcast by a true lover of the series and makes me happy when I'm blue. I can't recommend it enough.

Dying Laughing While Listening
Awesome podcast. I often times end up crying from laughter right alongside April and her guests.

Awesome!
If you watched Saved By The Bell a ton as I did in my youth you will love this podcast! Easily one of my favorite podcasts ever! April is fantastic and the guests she have are great as they recap this ridiculous, fun, goofy, super early 90's nostalgic show!

A great joy to listen to
I've enjoyed every episode of this podcast. It's a great walk down memory lane (for an avid fan of SBTB). I can remember every reference and every moment April and her guests describe because this series is forever burned in my memory from repeat viewings as a teenager. I probably should have been studying to become a doctor instead, but no, I spent the time committing every episode of this and Full House to the recesses of my brain.

Best podcast ever
Once you've listened to each episode once, you can start back at the beginning because it's not time specific and the joke density is thick!

Late to the Party
But none the less thrilled! After getting plugs on My Favorite Murder (and desperately needing more smart female driven comedy), I finally remembered to download, and became instantly obsessed. I'm blowing through them on my hour long commute and already feel sad (years later) to know it ends. I'm going to start a kickstarter/petition for an April Richardson and Karen Kilgariff podcast as soon as I stop laughing hysterically.

Made my life complete
I'm a tax accountant and discovered this at the beginning of tax season. It is pretty much the only reason I haven't run out into traffic or set the office on fire at this point. Absolutely hilarious, and I love all of her guests! I'm almost done with the series and I am devastated. What am I going to do now???

Great grains
Great, and not ironically
I started watching saved by the bell when I was about seven years old. I loved to think that was how high school and was going to be. I never thought any of it was ridiculous or silly or impractical. I feel like it's a children's show written for children about high schoolers the way the children think high school is. Of course now looking back and re-watching it of course it's silly and unrealistic but it's not written for teenagers and adults. I love April and her guests and there commentary about the show I find it hilarious.

I love this podcast SO MUCH and am only sad that I’ve discovered it now that it’s officially OVER. However, that also means that I can binge on it to my heart’s content and don’t have to wait for new episodes to air. Everything about April is totally awesome and hilarious. Don’t change!
