This podcast has breathed life into my soul for the last 6 years now. I am so thankful for Christy’s desire to cling to truth in a culture where so many are falling captive to lies. I have listened to this podcast on the dusty roads of Tanzania as my family and I served there, in the wooded paths of NC during a confusing time of quarantine, at the break of sunlight in MO during a season of healing and waiting, and now in the heat of Papua New Guinea where I am learning to trust Jesus in new ways. In each place where God has placed me, the encouragement of this podcast has met me and my heart has been drawn near to the Father. Although I’ve never met Christy, I consider her a mentor and friend.

I’ve been listening since 2018 and am ALWAYS so grateful when an episode drops as the Lord consistently uses in my life to remind me of all that is true about Himself and His relationship to His beloved. Words truly cannot express the impact it’s had in various seasons of life. I am DEEPLY grateful for Christy’s voice having followed her and her ministry for the past 20+ years — being first introduced to her music at the age of 12 during a Point of Grace concert 🥰

After 12 years of music ministry at the same church , my husband and I were asked to step down due to the church deciding to go in a “different direction.” As my husband and I grieved deeply this change in our lives, I was searching for truth and encouragement so that we could honor the Lord in our suffering. I turned on Christys podcast “Come Magnify” where she introduced her new song and within minutes of listening, found myself weeping in my kitchen. Her words weren’t her own, but her Father’s… and my Father’s. And in one breath of Truth, she was able to preach to her own heart and mine. I know that when I turn on this podcast, I will hear the Father’s voice.. although in the moment, may sound more like a sweet southern accent :) thank you Christy for your faithfulness in the little things. I can’t tell you how many times my heart has found encouragement through your words!

Long time fan of the music, started listening to the podcast during the Psalm 119 deep dive, 2022 has me with way too much on my plate, that I’ve been letting any podcast longer than 20 minutes expire. As you might imagine in the world that we are living in…I am managing a lot of emotions and fears and anxiety both from my faith base community and non-faith based community. For me this podcast has been a calm from the storm and I plug-in to find rest and rejuvenation, your voice is so soothing and calm and peaceful and reminds me of where I need to put my own mind and emotions and praise. I have been listening to Christy’s amazing podcast for several years. I can so relate to her and the ups and downs of life along with the opportunities for growth. Christy is real, authentic and transparent which I appreciate so much. I enjoy how she shares her heart openly and models how to speak to God and invite the Holy Spirit in. My absolute favorite things is Christy’s comforting tone of voice. She is so sweet and kind. When my day is crazy and I feel out of sorts, the mere sound of Christy’s voice brings great peace. Christy’s music has marked so many of my life moments. I was saved in college and fell in love with a water mark song “captivate us”. In our wedding, the party walked down the aisle to “by our love”. When my second son was born and very uncomfortable with reflux I used the lullaby album to comfort and calm him. Then, I saw her on her Christmas tour in cumming, GA and discovered this podcast and literally listened to every episode from that moment forward. I began to connect even deeper with her content. I feel that we share similar experiences with our kids and walk with Jesus. As the podcast grew and time passed, I loved the content even more. I love what she presents because you know she has studied and wants to help us grow deeper in relationship with god, our father. All that to say, I am a huge fan and I am thankful for the time she puts in to bring us a good work.

Christy’s podcast was the only sound that quieted my fussy baby as an infant & 6 years later her Lullaby album calms him like none other. Christy’s voice - both speaking & singing- is warm and comforting like a cup of tea with a friend, a good cry & a big hug. Her words are thoughtful, spirit filled & kind. I cannot tell you the number of times I have listened to this podcast and wept. Christy has the gift of beautiful vulnerability that makes you feel less alone and known. She has a relationship with the Lord that makes you want Him more, too. I am so grateful for the generous way that she pours out to us!

I was so affected by the “Summer’s end” episode. You had me weeping by the end. We recently had to move out of our home for months while it got renovated from mold. Being away from home and the cultivation and beauty and rhythm it embodies has been incredibly hard. And to have to let go of many possessions in the process. Thank you for reading that book to us, for mothering me and making my life feel seen. I love when the squirrels are told to leave and never come back, reminding me of close encounters with the demonic over the past few years. They do not have the last say, either in our temporal homes or our eternal one. And the reminder that cultivating our homes and using them to nurture others is a “kingdom come” work. It is where heaven often meets earth for me.

This is one of my favorite podcasts. I return to it anytime I need encouragement or some peace/calm in my day. I love Christy’s gentleness, candor, wit, and depth of love for Christ and how it comes through each episode, not to mention her music, of course!

I loved Watermark in the early 2000’s. Fast forward 20 years through two children who are now young adults and a divorce. I was reminded how much I love her during IF: Gathering 2021. I bought her audio book and I can’t turn the podcast off! I’m so glad to have so many seasons to catch up on! The sheer genuine approach to life, backed by scripture, based on finding the glorious in the mundane... such an inspired and intentional approach to life. Which does, often, feel mundane. I am going to listen to it all. And then again. And maybe again, until finding the glorious isn’t an effort or a to-do, but becomes part of who I am. A mom, a wife, a sister, a friend, and most importantly, a child of God. Thank you, Christy!! Your willingness to share your journey will help so many.

I had a trip by myself today. As I went thru my podcast list I landed onto Christy’s podcast. I was instantly moved.... no less on the rest note as God had deposited a rest to run word for this year. But what captivated me was the way Christy hit the heart and soul issues. After just a few minutes listening, I felt she was in the truck with me. I hurt deeply with her news about her mom...(praying now for sure) and felt that space deep to the desire to belong and be known, not by what we do but for who we are! I’m glad I was told about this podcast series by a friend. It’s nourishment for my soul...and has seen me through some really hard days! I resonate with this podcast on so many levels and Christy is like a soul sister as she shares from her heart of worship. I’ve said this before. This sweet soul brings me closer to Jesus every. time. I am so grateful for her heart and how she communicates God. Interestingly, the two absolute fave podcasts are with Lauren Tomlin and Rebekah Lyons - RICH, RICH truth and challenge that I have listened to and shared more than once! The Come Magnify the Lord with Me series is the fave series—So many nuggets! I find myself going back and back and still tearing up after the first listen.
