In this Environmental Policy Frontiers Lecture with Dan Brown, professor in the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan, Brown explores the interactions between individual, household, and institutional decision making and the effects of these interactions on landscape outcomes. Brown uses examples from projects on carbon dynamics in exurban landscapes in the US, forest resource use in India and rural agricultural change in China.
