I’ve been out of the wrestling game for years. I’ve been looking for away back in, a friend recommended this podcast and it’s just what I needed. Bonus points for Robbie being a giant nerd like me.

Now the the new cream of the crop in tag teams are Robbie “Octagon Bob” Fox and Jarred “Carabis” Carrabis aka the reigning, defending, undisputed pro wrestling podcast champions of the world. From Robbie’s knowledge of indies wrestling, to Jarred’s love for the Modern Day Maharaja, you never know what you’re going to get each Wednesday afternoon when the podcast pops up on your phone. Every Wednesday i look forward to PMT on my morning commute, and FTTR to get me through the rest of the day. I regularly say “this is the best episode” every week because it just gets better. Jared being an adamant WWE guy despite swearing he’s open to everything is honestly great. Along with his undying campaign to make sure Jinder is never hindered again, he makes the pod that much more entertaining. Followed up by Robbie’s much more realistic and thought out takes, the duo is the best. As someone who has listened to countless wrestling podcasts over the last few years trying to find the right fit, this is the one. Keep doing what you do. Always take us stoolies to the top.

You guys rock! I love tuning in each week as an off/on wrestling viewer to hear all sorts of info and takes that I wouldn’t hear elsewhere. Big fan of Robbie before I started listening to this, now I’m way in. For god’s sake though, clear Jared’s nose and throat, my man’s been sick for weeks now.

You guys along with PMT make Wednesday’s easier to get through. Been a lifelong wrestling fan and long time stoolie and have been reading Robbie’s blogs since he started covering WWE at barstool and the 1st podcast . Awesome podcast. Agree more with Carrabis’ takes except Jinder, but let that slide. Going to rumble with 3 other stoolies and if you guys make the trip to Philly, you have a place to crash and do the wrap up podcast if I have the equipment.

A young kid who still can’t buy booze and had to listen to explicit records on low volume in his room so his parents didn’t here him listening to Eminem and a baseball guy who thinks a mayor is still scary after 20 years. Either way, not that bad of a show. It’s not colt cabana, but it’s still better than that stupid idiot Jericho.

Robbie Fox and Jared Portnoy did their best Ric Flair strut down the podcast trail screaming “Bang Bang!!” FTTR is putting the rest of the wrestling Podcasts on the side of milk cartons asking “Have you seen me?” with big guests and takes so hot they’ll have ya screaming “Owwww Have Mercy!” This is a Podcast that’d get 6 stars from Uncle Meltzer even if it didn’t take place in Japan. So “HAVE A NICE DAY!!”

Robbie does his best not to name drop a different one of his wrestling friends every week while Jared daydreams about the Red Sox anytime Robbie starts talking about non-WWE wrestling. These two keep producing some of the most enjoyable content on the barstool network. Keep up the good work brothers - HH

I love everything about this podcast but here are my top 3 reasons: 1. Love the dynamic between OB and Jared. The hardcore wrestling fan vs the hardcore WWE fan. 2. I get my wrestling education each week. Not only am I reminded of awesome wrestling moments in the past but also moments either before my time or before watching. They know everything!! 3. Thanks to Robbie’s love of all wrestling, I discovered NJPW. Yeah, you hear/see it discussed online, but hearing OB discuss the G1 climax intrigued me. After watching Omega vs Ocada my husband and I are now fans and subscribers to NJPW. I love Omega!! It’s totally worth the listen and it’s hilarious! Just listen to the episode where Jared loses his mind regarding the shield! It’s everything we were all thinking but hilarious to hear him literally lose his mind! Keep it up boys!!

Or maybe you’d like to listen to a jabroni that marks out for a giant kayfabe monster who is a libertarian monster in real life that knows 3 moves. If so and you don’t want them to know any wrestling history before 1997 then you’re in luck! This is the podcast for you brother. Somehow they get great interviews despite probably not even knowing the original lineup of the Fabulous Freebirds or ever having seen a Night of the Skywalkers match.

The coming together of from the top rope reminds me a lot of when the new day began , two talented guys in their own realms bob fox and Carrabis come together like kofi and big E from completely different pasts and then to take the group to the next leaves you have charismatic third member Xavier woods or in this case the from the top social media guru comes into the mix as well.
