Started on the zak bagans episodes and i must say this podcast reminds me of my own except more “segments” which isnt a bad thing. The host and cohosts are funny and relatable dont go to off topic and honestly i feel like im listening to my friends podcast if my friends did podcasting….thats sad….but i love the podcast and the people are responsive on twitter. I just listened to the Scary of 61st episode and… wow. I thought Bryan was pretty good but Kelly has no business reviewing movies??? Just constant projections and critiques based on nothing but her perceived bad vibes of the director? Like just true contempt for art. I haven’t been that annoyed with a commentator ever. Has she seen a movie before? If you have to label every character or moment or film as good or bad please just go watch scooby doo.

Simply the best horror podcast out there the show is simply a good blend of byrons cool calm and collected personality mixed with Kelly’s blunt sassy and informative lingo simply love the show love you Byron and Kelly stay awesome

Like most listeners, I have quite a few shows I listen to every week. Out of all those shows, I look forward to frightday the most.

The female host at one point decided to talk about religion and her children and she went into this diatribe that literally sounded ironically like she was reciting some rote religious text. She sounds like an indoctrinated crazy person it would be awesome if they could speak about the topics without drenching everything with a thick layer of establishment condescension.

Why dies byron feel The need to interrupt with horrific jokes ? Does he always need all the attention ? Why does byron feel the need to interrupt and be the center of attention ?? He seems very jealous Kelly you should start your own show - great work

This is one of my favorite podcasts. The banter and chemistry between Byron and Kelly is great. It’s kind of opened my eyes to a new genre that I don’t have much experience with. Keep up the great work

Listened to the Saint Maud episode..... or should I say a meandering conversation with tons of advertisements and a meager 30 min conversation about the movie which was impossible to find and at the end.

I’m normally FREAKED OUT by scary movies but this podcast engages in the genre in a light and informed way. They know the science behind all the paranormal and also have great banter! I’m hooked!

The only spooky podcast I can pay attention to for more than a few episodes!

I ran across Frightday about 6 months ago since then I have listened to their whole catalog including their Patreon podcasts. Byron, Kelly, and Sam have the best banter and the most interesting topics around. I can’t recommend this podcast and these hosts enough!

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far… But listen… If you’re anything like me and voyaging beyond the black seas of infinity in to the void of insanity sounds like a holiday, then why not do it with Frightday! Or better yet, join the Frightday Society! In all seriousness, though I can’t say that Frightday is for everyone, I will say that not everyone loves awesome things (haters n potaters). Frightday is awesome. I do love horror yes, but there is something here that is special. It isn’t about the content so much as it is about it’s host and something about how they make the listener feel like they’re talking directly to them. In a way, Frightday has always felt mumblecorish to me in nature. What I mean is, while it is certainly produced, it never sounds over produced and often feels real. In addition, the genuineness that gushes from B, Captain K and Sam make for a strangely intimate and unique podcast. This is definitely something you gotta listen to (and probably listen to a few episodes) to get a feel for what the magic sauce. Again, if you’re not into awesome things or are not an awesome person well then probably not for you. P.S. I’m sure some might grown but… Now that we’re in September can we please get the Kelly Ghost sound at least once an episode until Halloween. Reminds me of the song Halloween Spooks and gets the halloween spirit going for me. By the way, I don’t even use Apple Podcast. This is how good Frightday is. I bought a MacBook and signed in to Apple Podcast just to rate this show…

First time I listen to this podcast and she starts off by bashing Trump. Just get to the topic and keep your liberal bs to yourself.

The production is stellar from start to finish. From the Canibal Holocaust theme song to the vintage segues, Byron Kelly and (sometimes) Sam deliver insightful film reviews, riveting conspiracy theories, and endearing antics between. The timing is quickly paced but nothing feels rushed. At this point these guys feel like old friends and I look forward to hearing from them every week. It's obvious that they've done their homework, but their loveable nature makes them approachable for anyone with any degree of horror interest. Refined yet approachable...mmmm...yes...wine ref for Capitain Kelly!

Hi guys my name is Joe I love the show and have listened to you for years. I listen to all kinds of podcasts and this is the first review I’ve ever written. I am a Republican try not to hold it against me, you may not know this but people on the right listen to you also. I know you guys try to keep the right hate down to a minimum but in this episode you kinda dropped the ball. Not everyone on the right is an ignorant, racist, bigot that does pay attention to the news or science. I didn’t even know about this YouTube video until you guys brought it up. I’m not saying you guys are wrong about the video but you seem to imply that everyone on the right who watched it agreed with or didn’t look into it any further. I still like the show and will still listen to you guys. I’m not a cancel everyone that doesn’t agree with me kind of guy. I love your movie reviews and have watched a lot of movies because of them. I also love Kelly’s Cryptids and Conspiracies. Just wrote in to let you know you guys know you reach all different types of people not just on the left. I gave you a low grade because of the episode not because of the show as a whole. I’ll give you a 5 star review next time to even it out. Thanks for the entertainment over the years and I will continue to listen in the future.

An absolute must listen if you are into anything horror related. If it is horror movies reviews you long for or into cryptid and and conspiracies talk, it’s right here. Byron, Kelly and Sam deliver a fantastic podcast every episode. You will be entertained from the opening minutes of the program and will be longing for more at the end. Started listening over a month ago and now working my way through all 200+ episodes. You can hear the roots of Coast to Coast, but listening to their banter and enthusiasm is contagious. I feel like a friend they don’t know they have. Im even on the lookout for Bigfoot! They sometimes leave me a little spooked, but always smiling.

Have I really not rated this show? Four years I’ve been listening. Four! Every week. It’s great, you’ll love it.

I love horror movies, but there are sooo many to choose from. Scrolling through VOD platforms is overwhelming. Now, I have three awesome guides to help me navigate the murky waters of ‘must see’ vs ‘avoid like a zombie plague’. The fun banter and insights from these guys is utterly delightful. AND, just when it seems like it couldn’t get any better, they throw in the weekly feature, ‘CAPTAIN Kelly’s Cryptids and Conspiracies’. So fun! I love it!!

Really like the stories but just having a hard time listening to Kelly. She sounds like an annoying over-excited tween who just has to speak to be heard!! Without her, the podcast would be a solid 5 stars!! Will wait to see if they drop her and then start listening again if they do.

Frightday is absolutely the beat podcast I have ever heard. It’s more then just a horror podcast or paranormal show. It’s a wild and wonderful mix of horror, serial killer and cryptozoology, blended with three distinct and amazing hosts, that bring you into the show not only with their amazing research and knowledge but also with the ability to riff easily off one another that’s as equally entertaining as it is informative. Take a chance and I guarantee you will become lost in the show and going back to listen to all 200+ episodes.

If their is a podcast award for individual outstanding episodes for disputation-based scientific theory, your episode with Jeff Meldrum, would be the one! Congratulations Kelly, on possibly the most knowledgeable Bigfoot conversation to date.

I love this podcast. The horror movie reviews are spot on and between the three hosts, you always get a broad range of opinions and perspectives. Captain Kelly is a shining beam of enthusiasm and knowledge and her Cryptids & Conspiracies segments are a pure delight. I hope they never stop making this show.

This show keeps me awake and alive during my commute. It’s like a road trip with three or four fun friends talking about horror flicks and cryptids. CAPTAIN Kelly is the best researcher bar none, Sam is usually dead on with his film reviews, and Byron is a kind of creepy dude who is way too into serial killers (is he getting pointers???). Keep on keeping on. On a serious note, when I open iTunes and see there is a new episode, it kinda feels like Christmas and I always feel my workday is going to be much more bearable.

I searched for another podcast covering Shawn Michael Grate. I was shocked and disgusted by how the hosts talked about the survivor in this case. I’m done

I will say that Frightday is a beautiful creature. When observed at a even moderate range; it resembles a perfect organism. Beware! Before you know it this podcast will capture you and drag your bewildered carcass to its lair. From that point on its always there with you. Through the seasons it blearily greets you with the dawn. It chatters supportively with you as you eat. Grunts supportively between your obnoxious interactions with those of your own species. Shields you lovingly from the rain, snow and truly dark nights. It licks your wounds when you’ve been injured and reminds you of the powerful creature you are in moments of weakness. Above all things, without fail it sings you to sleep whether you ask for it or not. Call it Stockholm syndrome but somehow before you know it this monstrous 3 voiced creature will become one of the closest things you’ve known to be family.. Also it bellows about coffee A LOT

Hello all. Welcome to my review of the apple podcast Frightday. To keep it simple, this show is great. The hosts are loveable, hilarious and passionate people. They love what they do and I love it too. Keep it scary and keep it alive boils and ghouls!!

Because that’s what I’m thinking when I see a new episode in my feed. Byron, Kelly and Sam have great chemistry. The sound design/editing adds that little extra bit to their hilarious, interesting, and insightful conversations. I still haven’t ordered any Spring-Heel’d Jack coffee, but each time I here Byron sip on some during the add my resolve weakens bit by bit. Keep it up y’all!
