Without much data. I mean if we are just going by SB wins you’re going to have to look long and hard for a great QBs in the NFL. Enjoy the show thanks for the content.

The Audible is like a TV channel with multiple shows. They recently decided to hire a bunch of young marketing people who know more about appealing to the lowest common denominator than football. Most of the OGs have moved on, and the ones that have stayed treat it as either a personal diary - it's not a broncos show, it's the Cecil Lammey show. The inflated sense of self importance Lammey has is striking and very off-putting. You'd think his friends/coworkers would pull him aside since he lacks the requisite self awareness...Or in Sigmund Bloom's case, an excuse to get drunk on the latest NFL happenings "brandon Staley is refreshing/a good coach" "Lamar can only operate with Greg Roman" "Greg Roman was holding Lamar back." The contradictions, of course, are never mentioned.

Please layout the benefits of using the FABB system over the 24 year old last place for the week priority system we still use. The guy in last place gets all the good free agents every week and the managers atop the standings get squat. I don’t even want to mention that we’ve only had about 8 trades in 24 years…

Sigmund Bloom is unlistenable. A complete gasbag that will always use 10,000 words when five would do. It would be halfway palatable if he actually provided any useful insight.

Great information to help make good decisions in your league. More than just getting solid info on moves to make, you’ll also get information about strategy and philosophy that will make you a better manager. The only thing that really annoys me is all the conversation about how podcasts generate their money. Way too big of a deal is made about the lack of a super chat while also going on and on about YouTube monetization and censoring. I listen to shows that have nothing to do with fantasy that use a super chat that I get to enjoy uncensored (and don’t really notice the difference between other shows that read and respond to live listener comments). I listen to shows without a super chat that cover fantasy sports and are uncensored (without congratulating themselves for it constantly). This feed: no super chat (which you’ll hear about constantly), but also censorship because they don’t want to upset their overlords (which you’ll hear about constantly). “Sorry Joe” is easily the most irritating part of listening each week. So much so that I’m using the bulk of my review to address it. If you’re going to mind your language… just do it! There’s no need talk about it all the time. Yet, listen I do because the information is too good to pass up. It’s an essential part of my fantasy football experience.

Fun podcast. It’s like listening to 2 Simpsons characters on acid discuss fantasy football. They mostly get it right, but are liable to spin off on tangents like positive vibrations or the fabric of the universe. In any case: an insightful, refreshing take on FF.

The dynamic between Sigmund & Cecil is excellent. A blend of fun commentary and super useful information. A weekly listen for me to feel comfortable before setting lineups and talking football.

Starting listening around week 6 last season. Amazing advice and just all around righteous dudes. Recommend for sure.

Let me start by saying that Sigmund Bloom is the greatest entertainer across the fantasy football landscape. He’s also a gem of a human being. I love any show he’s on but especially the IDP episodes. I’d love to see more of them!

I enjoy the podcast for the most part. The quality feels very amateur and I find myself never excited to listen to the episodes but I do find it informative. Also did you know that Cecil Lammey badly wants to share info on the air but he just can’t so he’ll tell Bloom off the air? At least once a month he goes through the routine where he pretends to start saying it, he stops, and then announces that he’ll just have to share this highly classified information with Bloom off the air. I’m always disappointed that I’ll never know this top secret fantasy info that I imagine would forever change how I look at the sport of football. It’s times like that where I wonder why Bloom doesn’t just say after the podcast ‘dude you can stop pretending to have super secret NFL info, you’re actually embarrassing yourself’.

Fields had a bad week 16 game because of the weather? No, the Buffalo defense shut him down and held him to 11 yards rushing. Josh Allen had no problem with the weather running all over the field and scoring 35 points. Come on guys.

Even if he didn’t know what he was talking about (he does), I would still listen. Love the charisma, delivery, and banter in a fantasy football landscape that often lacks some.

Sig is an enjoyable personality with a lot of interesting insight and unique perspective. The problem is you have to listen to Cecil at the same time.

Cecil, please stop with the I want to say it bloom, I’ll tell you more off air. Either say it, or don’t bring it up at all, my god. I’ve been a religious listener for the last 3-4 years. Today I’m done because I’m so tired of cecil saying “I’ll tell you more off air bloom.” We get it dude you’re a beat writer with info.. either say it on the show or just tell him off air. Stop telling us you’re gonna tell him. My god dude.

We get it already. Blum, fix your internet and mic…actually neither of you sound that great like other podcasts. Find myself having to volume up and down constantly to listen. Enjoy content but fix the audio issues.

Cecil’s whining and complaining EVERY show is getting hard to take. We get it, you hate social media, you hate Youtube, you hate certain beat writers, you hate certain coaches, you hate certain players…every single show.

Where are the ‘on the couch’ episodes?

This is the best fantasy football show available. The host Cecil Lammey and the entire cast of football guys are so knowledgeable about football and how it relates to fantasy football. This is a serious show that delves deep - not the superficial stuff I listened to when I first started. I can’t even stomach some of those other shows that tell me what I already know. I am in a few very serious redraft and dynasty leagues - so I am looking for the breakthrough player weeks before it happens. Other shows tell you to pick up guys that are already owned. No kidding - I should pick up that player. I don’t need stupid jokes and artificial quips. I need serious dialogue that gives me information before it becomes obvious. These guys are the best and I’ve learned a ton about football as well as fantasy logic. If you are looking for a show that is serious and still fun to listen to - this is the show for you.

Good football advice until Cecil opens his mouth and gushes over the unrealized dynasty of Denver Donkeys

Love the show. These guys are so good and insightful, I listen to every show every week plus their draft special each year. But lately the dynasty show episodes with Chad and Jordan are gone. All erased from podcast app feeds. Hopefully this is a simple fix.

Excellent content

The fantasy football information is excellent but who cares? Cecil and Sigmund grew up with Looney Tunes, Dr Demento and Mad magazine. These are my people and I’d listen to them if they were podcasting about specialized permeable media for phosphorus removal. Thank God the shows about football.

These guys have provided a superior level of content and analysis for well over a decade. Cecil Lammey and Sigmud Bloom have the kind of chemistry that rivals Tony Kornheiser and Mike Wilbon on ESPN’s PTI. They value their audience and are grounded and humbled by their successes over the years. From matchup analysis to Dr. Jene Bramel’s injury rounds, to roster acquisition recommendations, to personal connections you feel with the hosts- this is the best show around. Thanks for your great product and connection with your audience for the past 16 years I’ve followed you - I appreciate your dedication and excellence.

Been listening to The Audible Thursday Night show

I prefer the original personalities as well. I try not to hold that against the new folks since those are tough acts to follow. Some do not offer much more than I would get talking to one of my buddies though and they don’t give reasons often for their opinions, just that they “feel” such and such. That’s fine but not what we tune in here for. The girl that mentions her wife every episode was hired solely for her deep insights I’m sure they tell themselves. Are they not doing the IDP episodes anymore? That was quality analysis. FBG is my all time favorite though so I owe them 5 stars. If you’ve never listened to them I highly recommend. Waldman was calling Mahomes the next great QB before the Chiefs! There’s a family vibe to the show because the guys are actually friends and they think of the audience as extended family as well. They try not to let their leftist politics slip in too much and I’m sure they think they never do. But if they were great at that how would I know? Regardless that’s probably the correct demographic for this youngish audience anyway. They’re interesting, funny, good dudes that you’d want to hang out and laugh with. Sometimes I think I listen for that more than the insights.

I like most of the shows, especially ones with Matt Waldman and Sigmund Bloom. But some of the shows would be better if this Cecil guy just shut up. Nobody needs to hear him repeat the same conspiracy theories every show.

Love the podcast....for the most part. How did Lauren carpenter get on here? All her takes are piggy backs off of the cohost and her own takes, are so outlandish they hold no weight Victoria Geary has 0 football knowledge . Just agrees with everything. Good podcast for beginners. Host is the only one with some in depth knowledge. The other guests have minimal knowledge. Unsubscribed.

They used to be the gold standard. Now I barely listen. What happened to a once great product?

Any show with sig, Cecil, Matt, and Dr. Gene are amazing and haven’t lost quality. The dynasty show is great as well. The others need some work. We’re getting a lot of redundant information with the mail bag and 2 point stance shows. The shows with lauren have been rough to say the least. Please bring back IDP round table with John Norton as well. Love you guys 🙌🏿
