Simple and actionable
I love this podcast. I have listened over the last couple of years. It has been my go-to for long walks in the park during quarantine. Robyn offers methods and steps that are tangible and actionable. I don’t think I have found that with most other “wellness” platforms. My favorite episodes are with her alone, not with external guests. Appreciate that her advice is backed up by research! I hope she brings new episodes back in the future.

Super inspiring.
I fell upon Robyn’s instagram and checked out her podcast and was immediately inspired. She’s super intelligent, positive, and creative. I listen to the podcast on my lunch break (I have a little one at home so it’s a good time and uninterrupted) and am filled with ideas on how to add little things to my daily routine to help me feel good. Robyn is inspiring and also is just “real” - she knows we all have good and bad days, but there are many ways to brighten them up.

This is one of my top three favorite podcasts! I’ve been listening for over a year now after a fellow health coach friend recommended it. Wow, what a difference it has made in my life and in the lives of my clients. Robyn is real and down to earth. She offers practical tips for how to make real, lasting change. I’ve been listening to this podcast for years now and I love it so much! I feel so lucky to have found it! This is one of the rare wellness spaces I’ve found that takes into account our humanity and chaos and has actually spurred some big changes for me! Also, I just caught your most recent episode on having an only child and I can’t tell you how much I needed to hear it! I have an 8 yr old son and we are very happy in our choice to remain a family of 3! I waffled for a long time but I have recently come to the realization that this is best for us. It’s always affirming to hear from parents that have made the same choice! Not because it’s the “right” choice but because it was right for them! Focus more on content than your business
I really wanted to like this podcast and listen to it but the host just kept promoting her business or products throughout. It kept distracting from the topic and took a long time to get to the point.

Helpful but too much complaining
The information is good and practical and I think practical. Unfortunately I just listened to three episodes in a row and the complaining that it is free and doesn’t get enough interaction on Instagram gets old. Yes it is free content but it’s the nature of sharing podcasts. Please ease up on those who are looking for good info and can’t buy every book someone writes. Good reviews do NOT come from high pressure to “interact” or “give 5 stars” they come from enjoying the content.

My Comfort Podcast
I started listening to podcasts 5 years ago, and the Feel Good Effect is the ONLY podcast I still listen to consistently. I have gone through many seasons of taking care of myself—the good and the bad, and Robyn’s insight is the only voice that can bring me back to my best self. I fall victim to “all or nothing” thinking often, but Robyn has taught me so much on how to combat this! Her approach is the most realistic when it comes to maintaining FEELING GOOD! If you haven't listened to this podcast and you are interested in wellness, true self-care and habits...this is the podcast for you. Robyn and her work are amazing. This week's episode was so timely. I refer back to your episode with Kelly McGonigal often - and I needed this right now because I just finished an extra busy couple months where I could rarely find time to include movement in my day. Can't wait to hear the next installment. I really appreciate this deep dive into movement and habit and good reasons to do it...that are not weight loss. I so love listening to the Feel Good Effect! I have only been listening for a few months but I am a huge fan of the themes, concepts, approach and attitude around how to feel good every day. And the ideas are really simple making the follow thru easy and fun. I have almost finished Robyn’s book with the same name and I am amazed at how relatable and foundational the principles are to shifting my mindset - gentle is the new perfect for sure!! My approach to not only wellness and health but my relationships and career have all benefited from these podcasts and book. I listen in my car, back and forth to work and running errands. I can’t wait for the next episode each week and really missed it for that time in August and September when there was a pause! The capsule meal plans, capsule wardrobe, the 1 minute meal prep recent episode and many others on easy steps to take to make less decisions or improve mindset or lessen stress are my favorites! Working my way backwards thru them all!!

Cook Once- mind blowing!
Just found your podcast this morning as I was doing a little dinner prep. Didn’t realize the method of cooking once had a name to it. I’ve done it before and the joy of having enough of some thing to make into another meal later in the week is real. I was cooking some chicken in my Insta pot for dinner and realized that this method of cooking extra protein once and then having two meals is something I can utilize more often to simplify. Could’ve just done it this morning. But I’ve learned and I’m going to do it next time. Thank you for your wonderful guest speaker. I’ll definitely be listening again.

I’m not kidding! Robyn brings so much value in each episode. Her science-backed mental health information is profoundly helpful if you take the time to apply it. Many of the guests are leading cognitive and behavioral researchers who want to help us all understand the why and how our brains do what they do. I’ve read several of the books the show recommends and they do not disappoint. Dr. Elizabeth Stanley’s episode and book are game-changers if you suffer from anxiety. I love that everything Robyn discusses is scientifically proven and research-based. Plus, she does a wonderful job of making all of it accessible to the average person who isn’t a clinical psychologist. I am forever grateful that I found this podcast and subsequently Robyn’s book of the same name — which I also highly recommend! Her soothing voice and gentle approach make listening to each episode a joy.

Love this podcast - boundaries issue was soo good
Taking a few minutes to share another 5 star review. The boundaries episode with Nedra was excellent! Her definition of crisis brought tears to my eyes as I was brought back to the feelings of when I was in crisis years ago, BUT it also resonated with my strong sense of self today and a knowing that while I may be stressed today, I am NOT in crisis, and thankfully, neither are the stressed people around me. We’re just stressed, and we’ve all got skills and tools to help each other with that. What a gift this morning with my coffee - thank you! I also loved Robyn’s personal family story about receiving news texts during the day. Had the exact same experience yesterday, and now I’ve got new ideas on how I can set up a boundary, and how my husband and I can connect more deeply... after the work day. Thank you! Oh, and the fake zoom story with the kids was hilarious, and Nedra’s comments about gaming and being ok with losing was refreshing. Amen to not winning at everything. Just bought Nedra’s book on audio and am going to re-read Robyn’s book and do the exercises in a few weeks. Both are gonna help me get through my upcoming, post-breast cancer reconstruction surgery, and HEAL, and focus on moving forward and Feeling Good. Thank you, Robyn and Nedra. Namaste.
