This is by far one of the best if not my favorite podcast. I am so thankful to have found this pod cast through searching YouTube episodes from Jon Tyson Intentional Father book and found one that Famous at Home was interviewing Jon. I have been listen and trying to catch up with all the shows. They all have so much truth and honesty from the show. The transparency they bring to the podcast and pointing everything back to Christ and Gospel centered. I am hoping to one day be able to go to the leader cohort and meet Josh and Christi. Fireman income with four kids and a wife that gets to stay at home is tough to put out $3500 at one time but I am wanting to start saving to be able to go. Because famous at home is what it’s about.

Christi, it has been no surprise to me after being a student in one of Josh’s classes that I would also be blessed by the work that the two of you do together. Thanks so much for allowing yourself to be vulnerable in the recent Motherhood episodes. The calmness you speak of resonated with me a great deal and I couldn’t agree more that “less is more.” Less of the things that will fade away and more of the eternal is what we all need. I have struggled in seasons keeping such calmness in our home and the intentionality that’s required like getting up before the kids to have time with the Lord as you mention has been essential for me over the years. We homeschooled when our kids were little, so I remember what’s that like to be always “on” and yet you still make time to share your experiences with others…you’re a rockstar! Josh, I always appreciate your focus on the practical applications! I’m glad you pulled out of Christi what obtaining the calm looks like. And worshipping while cooking…this is the best. Not to make this too long, but one other area that spoke to me recently in the episode where you guys talked about your stay with friends was around the idea of hospitality and not feeling obligated to always be in entertaining or catering mode. I have tended towards such spastic habits in the past and it was helpful to hear someone point out the fact that hosting people doesn’t have to be that way. I could go on and on. I’ve learned so much from this show and from reading Safe House!! Thank you for all you authentically share! I’m a nurse so when you dive into the neuro and the root explanation of emotions, it’s right up my alley. I will say, Christi is soft spoken and often sounds like she’s so far from the mic and then Josh is louder and sounds right next to the mic 😂 sometimes it’s hard to regulate the volume which listening- I’m always turning up and turning down throughout the episodes. Wondered if I should even share that but figured I would in case it’s helpful. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Thanks again for all you do!

After having my first daughter in 2020 in the throes of isolation and fear on mass, I heard the episode, “Grieving what you imagined”. It unlocked the healing process I didn’t know God wanted to take me on. You guys are honest, refreshing, & I know God brought this podcast into my life in his perfect timing and is blessing so many thru you!

I have been on board since I was fortunate enough to hear Josh speak at a D6 conference years ago. Since then I have gifted the book, “Safe House” at every baby shower I have attended. I have given my own children all of your books as resources for their growing families. Your ministry is amazing and touches everything I do from parenting and grand parenting to teaching children at school and at church. Thank you for your work and dedication in providing all of us the tools to be “Famous at Home”!

They are great and have a lot of good information! I find myself excited about the information presented but Christi constantly interrupting hen Josh is speaking to bring up new topics or just to interject something or “open a new loop” is making it hard to continue to listen to these podcasts without frustration. I really hope this can improve so I can continue to enjoy to listen and learn.

I rarely comment on a podcast but I had to on this one. You both are so refreshing and honest and transparent and my husband and I both are listening and sharing what we’ve learned and we are learning to be transparent with each other. We’ve been married for 23 years and we are in ministry so we Turk on auto pilot too much in our marriage. So I am so glad we came upon this podcast and we are so grateful to you both for sharing your stories and wisdom with all of us!

I’m sitting in the most beautiful spot in Kauai surrounded by mountains and ocean watching my five kids splash in the pool while listening to this podcast (lots of long flights, lots of togetherness, lots of opportunities for sin to show up in myself and the little sinners God blessed me with) we were given this trip by a friend, we have never done anything like this and are feeling so so so blessed.. but not much can really be salve to how hard the journey that parenting truly is. But as I’m listening to josh and Christi humbly and honestly communicate the stories, ins and out of fostering a relationship with Jesus, one another and others- that ultimately trickles down to set them up to fight for their children, I am Inspired.(to say the least) I’m reminded that the same power that is in them is Christ and it’s in me too. Whether it’s to apologize to my spouse, explain feelings to my kids (and be reminded myself) or talk through some of the hard crap going on in the world (or things they see on the beach 🙈) I’m just incredibly grateful for the sacrifice of time they are making to share what the Spirit has taught and is teaching them. I believe regardless of where you are on your journey with Christ.. you can hear his still small voice through their effort to share him and ultimately his love. I cried a bit as I was reminded of how blessed I am and how important my job is as I’m stewarding little warriors.

I found this podcast just two weeks ago and it has been so essential to me in this season in my life! I know God had me stumble on it for this exact reason, I’m so thankful for this couple and their wisdom and willingness to share it so well!

One of my top two favorite podcasts. I’ve gathered great parenting advice, as well has significantly helpful marriage/relationship knowledge and awareness. Our three-year-old loves your “What Am I Feeling” book, and our family has been truly blessed by your Advent family experience book for two Christmases now. Your engagement with Holy Spirit is truly apparent in the good, authentic word you deliver. You’ve counseled me for hours as I do the mom hustle all over Williamson county. If you ever see a woman in a maroon minivan smiling and crying, it might be me listening in. so grateful for your work and obedience to His calling.

I only wish I had found this podcast sooner. It is not easy to find a parenting resource that contains both sound biblical teaching and up to date psychology. My husband and I have both been very encouraged by this podcast, it has led to really productive discussions and changes in our home. Highly recommend!

The content Josh and Christi project is applicable to anyone. I have listened to a dozen of their episodes and have taken away something useful in each. The seasons change and their content stays current and applicable. As a single mother having this resource is very helpful as we are on the go balancing life I take time on my drive to/from work to listen to an episode and apply the content in my week ahead. I love the idea of striving to be famous at home instead of seeking that validation externally. This podcast is packed full of amazing advice and authentic conversation. We all need a little help sometimes in our family relationships and this is a great resource to turn to!

My sister told me about this podcast and now I’m totally hooked! As a wife and mom to a one-year-old, I’ve gleaned so much wisdom and practical tips that I can apply to both my marriage and my parenting. Such a breath of fresh air!

I first learned of this podcast through the Bible for kids podcast. I have listened to one episode and so far I am enjoying it. God bless you all as you continue to serve him.

I am guilty of listening to the podcast and then instantly thinking of someone to send it to, BUT that is typically my husband! Such a great listen for married couples and parents. I know my husband and I have enjoyed listening and then debriefing afterwards! Josh and Christi (as a first time mama) have helped me put words to my feelings and truly have opened up conversations for my husband and I to strengthen our marriage which then strengthens us as parents.

“Famous at Home” is in my top 3 podcasts overall, but my very top for parenting and marriage topics. Dr. Josh and Christi are very relatable and authentic. You feel like they could be your real-life friends. They cover a good range of topics, from basic to difficult. They are biblically sound, yet still (I feel) approachable for non-Christian listeners. The recent addition of the FAH in 5 (5-minute podcasts) are also neatly packed with great tips that I often find myself thinking back on throughout the day. If you’re looking for a podcast with some great advice or encouragement for your most important familial relationships, don’t hesitate to give “Famous at Home” a listen!!

They do it in a loving, way with empathy & never shame. They are open & honest, giving Biblical truth and real life examples from their own lives. Their hearts are filled up with Christ and they shine His light in a beautiful & loving way. I have subscribed to other Christian podcasts, but this one is my favorite, hands down. Josh & Christi inspire me to dig deeper as a wife to my husband and lean into my children in a deeper way. They open up my eyes and heart to the Lord in a way that I havent done before.
