I love Ben and Harry's take on deep learning. Specfically, the difference between Deep Learning, Machine Learning and AI. Interesting how they are all different but they all kind of work together.

A for content, D for audio; how after years of doing a podcast have you guys not fixed your audio?? 🤦‍♂️

Worst part of this show is its theme music. I find myself skipping past Epicenter in my playlist just to avoid it! Hosts: please find something better. Ok, review of content now: I have shared this podcast with friends who just started thinking about “investing” in cryptocurrencies and they have been intimidated/overwhelmed by it. But I like the depth! I certainly don’t follow all of it either, but I just soak it in. The robustness of the hosts’ & guests’ mental models as they discuss economics, or cryptography, or game theory, or whatever other niche—it helps give me a solid starting point as I continue my own exploration. I’m fairly new at a company building a blockchain, and I often feel like one of the dumber ones in the room. But when I keep up with Epicenter, I find myself filling in gaps in my coworkers’ knowledge.

Try to let the builders and thinkers being interviewed expand on their views. To continuous interrupt and discount their points should not be the point of this podcast. A shame, really.

Very insightful and informative show that goes into the technical aspects of crypto which is nice.

Really awesome guests. Interviewers have no clue what they’re doing and the guests end up rambling to make up for it. Frequently find myself saying what are they talking about, what’s the point of what they’re saying. Guest audio is a problem as well sometimes the quality is just poor, have to strain to make out what they’re saying and then with the unfocused rambling it’s a painful experience. The questions they ask these people are so bad. I’m 35 mins into the IPFS episode and still don’t know what ipfs is or how it works or how it interoperates with the broader ecosystem. Like how are these questions not asked off the bat.

I find that most of the episodes keep me very engaged. And being newer to the the crypto space, I learn lots about the space as they cover a variety of topics.

When listening i this podcast, you gain a lot of insight. The guests are amazing, the information that they share is priceless. After listening to each episode, you feel more informed and prepared to accomplish your goals in the crypto industry.

This podcast is great. I have learned so much and even explored some of the projects personally. Thank you so much for introducing me to D centralized finance before this my whole world was about master notes which is still good but this gives me so much more opportunity I think diversity of investments is important and you have truly allowed me to expand my horizons. My one concern is how relevant the old episodes are do you delete episodes about projects that no longer exist? I realize you have bills to pay but please keep the majority of your content accessible to everyone and perhaps include a donation address for tipping. Subscription fees make me depressed but I’d be happy to share a few tokens every now and then. Maybe you could deploy a gateway to accept tokens and coins from the various projects you have shared and then just cash them out for your expenses. It could generate even more activity into some of these projects as well! I got off topic, my bad. To conclude this podcast is useful and informative and I hope for its continued success. Many of the discussions are deeply technical yet incredibly informational for newcomers and technically impaired. No promises that these groups will understand each concept; however, you will certainly be able to grasp that the hosts have been deeply embedded in the cutting edge work, breaking news, and brilliant innovations in crypto for many years. Listeners will benefit intellectually from the hosts experience and connections within the cryptosphere each week and be delightfully entertained by the anecdotes and commentary.

I’ve been a listener since just about day one with Sebastien and Brian - back when Epicenter Bitcoin and LTB were the only quality crypto podcast options available. Now with tons of new podcasts to choose from, these guys remain at the top of the game and have brought on some awesome new hosts to add perspectives. The Epicenter team has built a platform that’s earned a lot of respect in the community and you can see that in their guest list. The hosts are excellent at diving into technical details in an understandable way, and I really love that they aren’t afraid to press a guest when something doesn't make sense or isn’t understood. Of course, everybody loves the projects that they’re financially invested in.. so one of the things I love about Epicenter is that they bring in guests and cover projects that expose me to some incredibly cool ideas. Y’all strike the most informative yet entertaining balance of general vs. technical and have a strong variety of topics to cover & perspectives to offer. If it wasn’t for you guys and the incredible guests you have I’d be 100% lost in crypto.

I really like the show. Great and very insightful guests. I’m tired of crypto shows that all they do is “chart analysis”, the head and shoulders patterns, the Fibonacci cros, the pig in blanket pattern, blah blah blah. This show is not that, it’s actually discussions of projects and new developments on the space. If you’re curious about crypto or have even heard about it, tune in and you’ll be hooked.

I've been listening to the Epicenter podcast for years. Brian & Sebastien conduct very thorough and technical interview of projects so that you can understand them better. Their technical knowledge, help them ask questions to help their listeners better understand the topics discussed. My aptitude to understand all the techincal gibberish that happens in the Crypto space is not that great, but when I listen to Epicenter, I feel like that help me to understand it a bit more. They ask probing questions and get into the weeds. Thanks guys for helping us learn things others are not focused on!

Epicenter is not "investment-centered," which is refreshing in a crypto Podcast. It is about technology. If you really want to get into understanding crypto other than bitcoin, this is an extremely educational Podcast. I highly recommend it for this purpose.

I’ve been listening to the Epicenter series of podcasts for over three years. They consistently have their finger on the pulse of cutting edge topics across the crypto and blockchain landscape. These long form interviews are a great way to gain an understanding of this rapidly changing environment. If you’re just getting interested, this is a great place to start. If you’ve been in the space for a while, you are guaranteed to find many topics of interest Hosts of each show rotate. They each have technical backgrounds but varied, so you get some great perspectives. If you listen to a few episodes, I’m sure you’ll agree that they’ve done their homework on each issue. There’s a good balance between background/intro material and in-depth discussion, and even a non-developer like myself finds the material comprehensible and engaging. Thanks Epicenter! I am new to blockchain and cryptos but I love the concept and how it can solve many real world problems. The investment side and potential there is absolutely intriguing to me. But as a newcomer, all of this can be a bit overwhelming. What I love about this podcast is how Sébastien and team put all of this into real world applications. They do a phenomenal job of lining up the right guests and experts and asking the best questions to help people like me to get educated. Hats off to the Epicenter team. If you’re new to crypto/blockchain and want to explore the projects, people and philosophies of the space this is a great place to start. I am green in this space and have been listening to get up to speed. While I would not call myself knowledgeable yet I am definitely learning and Epicenter is a major part of that. As a newcomer, there is an entirely new lexicon and taxonomy to get familiar with. Epicenter throws you right in and asks great questions of experts from many different points of view in Blockchain. I also appreciate that the Epicenter team are not afraid to respectfully challenge their interviewees as they did in the Yaya episode and the Sia episode. It’s clear the hosts have some philosophical viewpoints of their own and while they do give us a glimpse of these, they never take center stage in front of their guests. Thanks for your great work.

I've been coming back to Epicenter over the last few years. I think they do a great job giving an overview and actually getting into the tech. It can be a bit on the technical side for true new-comers, but gives a good landscape of info to learn. The audio quality isn't the best, but not bad enough to keep me from coming back. The hosts are exceptionally articulate. I like the way they can synthesize their guests' comments into a concise summary that helps aids in the listener's understanding of what was just said. The guests are interesting and varied. This podcast started out strong some years ago and is my favorite for blockchain and distributed technologies. I forgive the hosts when the guests get political, and appreciate the way the hosts avoid such distractions. Contrary to an earlier review, the audio quality is fine. Listen and enjoy.

Brian, Sebastien, and Meher host a very informative podcast discussing various topics with guests regarding blockchain technology. The guests are generally very articulate and knowlegable about the topics, as they all seem to be the movers and shakers that are deep in the trenches of the blockchain world, working to push the envelope to further develop this technology. The topics and technical aspects can sometimes seem dense, but the hosts always seem to be able to hash out the ideas into smaller bites, making a non-technical person like me feel that I can halfway grasp the concepts and not get lost. More importantly, most of the technologies that they discuss are incredibly exciting and potentially groundbreaking in this new world. This show seems to be on the forefront of it. The hosts have a great slate of guests and have very in depth conversations, but the audio is awul. The hosts also need need NEED accent/voice coaching if they want to compete with all of the excellent other podcasts out there. I listened to one episode that because I couldnt find the interviewees anywhere else (which speaks to the hosts’ ability to get great guests) but it was painful to listen to every minute. Fix these factors and I will fix my rating

By far, best blockchain podcast available

While at first you might be taken aback by the informal and unpolished style of this podcast, the content is absolutely top notch. Brian manages to invite top people and always likes to keep a pulse on the latest and greatest. Thumbs up!

What a super informative podcast. Somehow only 56 reviews so far but I’ll bet this catches fire in 2018. Great interview with Chris and Jack. Thank you for putting out awesome and valuable content.

Fantastic hosts, great guests, and most importantly, realistic and thoughtful discussion of interesting new subject matter. Even if your not interested in crypto yet, listen to the Bennet, Merkle, or Buterin episodes. Then binge through the rest like a crack addict seeking their next fix and become a crypto degenerate like the rest of us. :-)

This podcast is depressing. While nerds around the world rejoice at the victorious paths crypto is forging - there’s an unusual amount of negativity here. You get the feeling these guys sold their bitcoin at $300. Lol. I just unsubscribed this podcast when they gave a hour of airtime to Tim Swanson - a guy who proudly admits to owning 0 cryptocurrency. (Can you say bitter? I can!) LOL! He encourages people to instead invest in stocks. Here we are in the throws of the world’s greatest financial revolution and this crypto / blockchain podcast has a complete failure on who trashes cryptocurrency.

Brian, Sébastien, and their guests do a phenomenal job of simplifying complex ideas surrounding cryptocurrency & blockchain in a structured, entertaining way. Highly recommend listening and subscribing to Epicenter if you want the knowledge AND mindsets to level up and better understand future applications of this evolving field!

The blockchain space is relatively new, fast-moving, and quickly expanding. This combination means that there's a massive amount of material to wade through (much of it of low quality) for anyone unfamiliar with the space. Epicenter hopped on the bandwagon before blockchain hit primetime, and is directed by a crew that has a deep understanding of the space. They ask informed and thoughtful questions of their guests, all of whom represent some valuable window into the space. If you want the latest and most relevant news on blockchain while keeping perspective on the larger context, Epicenter is the spot to go.

Awesome podcast that covers the entire cryptocurrency space, like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Zcash, other alt coins, all versions of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies, crypto news, crypto exchanges, wallets, clients, programming, ICOs, crypto hedge funds, legal stuff, and on and on. Great podcast for both novices and cypherpunks.

I began listening to "EB" through the "Let's Talk Bitcoin" podcast, which groups together a number of cryptocurrency focused podcasts. I naturally gravitated towards the EB podcasts (along with one other), as it cuts through the fluff, providing the reader with deep dives into important technological componenets of the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space. The hosts do not waste your time, they get down to business, and they ask a good array of questions to allow the listener to understand the subject matter from a variety of angles.

This is a great show to learn about new projects in the crypto-space. It caters to a fairly technical audience, but is pretty understandable to anyone interested in the topics. The hosts really do their homework and ask very perceptive questions, which I appreciate a lot. If you want to stay current with this space, this show will definitely help you do that.

Hands down this is one of the best shows on crypto currencies to better understand the current and upcoming technologies! I look forward to the shows every Monday! Keep up the great work!

There are so many sources of info about Bitcoin that it's hard to keep up. But these guys at Epicenter Bitcoin do a great job of pulling in the most important voices from around the world and discussing emerging relevant topics. This is one of the top 5 podcasts I listen to on a weekly basis (and there are only 2 Bitcoin podcasts on that list). Subscribe and be happier in your Bitcoin world.

Great guests, and the host is very skilled with good questions which avoid idle chit-chat. Episode 117 is an example of a clear, concise interview in which difficult topics were made understandable.

If you're interested in going deep with some of the best minds in the Bitcoin, blockchain, and decentralization space, this is the podcast for you. Despite the name of the podcast, their tone seems to poo-poo Bitcoin at times, but otherwise it's great content.

If you really want to get into the underpinnings of what is happening in the blockchain/bitcoin related technologies this is probably one of the best shows you can listen to.
