Ali you had a great podcast. I do not listen to Live Laugh Lore because episode length is too long and now I am depressed. WHY ALI???!!! [sighs.] Essence of Azeroth is better than finding a already ended podcast that could’ve been the best.

Well, this has been a long time coming. I first fell deep into the blackhole of Warcraft lore podcasts with Gin and Fear on Morally Grey a few months ago, right before all the ABK stuff went down. Needless to say I was selfishly crushed when I got the podcast notification for their last episode right when I was in the middle of binging every single one of them. After hearing you on their show I immediately followed you to remind myself to start listening to your podcast. And as soon as morally Grey ended for me, I picked yours up and listen to on average three a day. I just hit the BlizzCon episode and have so much more to go before I get to start live laugh lore! You’re two podcasts have filled so many gaps in the lore since I started playing Warcraft back at the end of BC. As much as I miss the morally Grey podcast, I love that it’s led me to so much more. And I look forward to hearing all the great things to come from you! What a great show I am writing this review a week after I listens to every show from the beginning. Between her giggles throughout and the way she welcomes everyone by the what she says” hello” puts a smile on my face every time. She a passionate about lore and has a lot of fun with her show. I learn so much about the raids and dungeons, What a great family friendly show.

Ali is an amazing podcast host and master of Warcraft lore. Every episode she goes into the lore behind the Warcraft dungeons and raids. This show is legit one of the best shows in my podcast feed. She’s super engaging with her community and helpful to fellow players and podcasters. <3 Mud

And who else better than Ali to tackle such a project! To do so in a solo-host podcast style is both brave and surprisingly well done! Many podcasters have voiced their disdain for their own experiences with solo episodes/happenstances. Certainly a righteously earned self-pat on the back, Ali! Just started Ep. 1 earlier this morning and was delighted to have Dungeon Fables be exactly as I had imagined after hearing of it by shameless plugs while you were featured in episodes with Rho, Frazley, and Toasty! I fully plan on binging this until I’m fully caught up, in a Netflix-style countdown. This will fit right into my weekly playlist beside WoW Killer, All Things Azeroth, Rolling Restart, Live Laugh Lore, etc.

What can I say about Ali & the Fables??? So much! Ali is very informed about the instances and the lore & if she doesn’t know she finds out. For us old players, she is able to bring back the nostalgia of our time playing during content. For new players, listen to this before you go and her knowledge will help you enjoy it more.

I have heard of this podcast but never really thought lore would be my thing so I listened and It was awesome, I recommend it to anyone that loves wow

Came across this pod after Ali helped fear pass his tests in MGP. Being caught up on MGP I needed some lore to help fill the void in my drive to work. Pulled up dungeon fables and loved it right off the bat. Just finishing up the classic section now and am very excited to head into BC (where I started) and then Wrath (best expansion don’t @ me) A nice bonus to dungeon fables is that it is safe for work, so I have something to listen to when I’m doing office work for the restaurant. I’ve got plenty of 1hr+ podcasts to listen to, so the format of this one is great for my trips in the car to work. I’m only a few episodes in but I like the light lore and it’s something normally passed up by other podcasts. If you end up running out of dungeons you could always do raids and when you run out of raids you could touch on some specific dungeon/raid characters that may have some pretty deep lore. Keep it up! Great work!

I came across your podcast after listening to Morally Grey and I love it. I came back to WoW after a hiatus for Classic and it has been so nice to have a way to go back to the roots. I have been playing since right after BC came out and have way more toons than I care to admit and have always loved the lore. Alli does a great job bringing all the nostalgia and giving more life to the dungeons than the grind for gear and xp. I just finished thru Onyxia and I’m looking forward to listening to the rest! (Also, I’m sorry... but I got the mount back in Lich :0 Hell of a grind... don’t give up!!!) I highly recommend for us old school players! Keep it up!

Ali somehow manages to put together a fun and informative podcast every week helping explain everything about dungeons. This was my gateway drug to Warcraft lore. What started as an innocent look at the dungeons I was spamming dungeon queue for has turned into now listening to 3 lore podcasts (This, Morally Grey, Tauren and the Goblin) and just ordered my first Warcraft book. Thank you Ali for getting me hooked on all the story in this world.

I love all things lore about Warcraft. While listening to an episode of Morally Grey , I heard about Ali and Dungeon Fables. Ali is great at teaching all about the reason we are fighting in the dungeon and has even given some lore to the bosses . I love this show and can't say enough good things about Ali and Dungeon Fables. Keep up the amazing work.

Have you ever been in a dungeon and wondered why you’re fighting a spinning turtle in an underground cavern? Or why there’s a complex network of gemstone filled tunnels housing a secret dragon cult? I really enjoy the care that Ali puts into every episode and find myself learning things I never would have known about dungeons I’ve run time after time. Great show!

This podcast is amazing and I love the care put in to each episode. Ali does an amazing job of putting you in to the lore of each dungeon as she immersed us in why we are there. I love that the episodes are 30-40min... unless you are in Outlands lol. Half the fun of WoW is the lore. I’ve been playing since Vanilla. It’s so fun to listen to this podcast and reminisce on these dungeons/raids. I’ve also learned a lot of lore. Such a great podcast!

I just recently started on podcasts and was lucky enough to find this gem. I love listening on my drive to and from work and learn about all those old dungeons. I’m currently on Stratholm and am looking forward to BWL and especially AQ. AliandrasK makes it feel more like a conversation rather than someone just giving you information. She is fun and easy to understand. I really appreciate her time and effort to make my drive more bearable.

This podcast is amazing short and simple describing the lore behind each dungeon and raid in World of Warcraft. The host is always positive and fun you can tell she really enjoys doing it. Always a joy when a new episode pops into my feed.

Well, I just sorta listened to every episode in 4 days while working. Been playing WoW since vanilla beta. It is absolutely wonderful to hear all this lore again and even learned a few things I didn’t know. Ali does a wonderful job of giving the dungeons some character rather than what most people see, which is typically mobs to squish and loot to grab. Thank you for helping bring back some of the RPG back to this MMORPG. Keep up the good work!

I’m a long time WoW player and always wondered why there was a variety of baddies in a dungeon and how they were all related. After listening to Dungeon Fables, my questions have been answered. Ali is so down to Earth and funny. She made these short dungeon journeys enjoyable. I’ve binged 15 episodes in three trips to work. BRD now makes sense and I forgot how much I loved Zul Farrak and Uldaman, since I have not done this dungeons since pre-Cataclysm. I’m awaiting The Culling of Stratholm and Sunken Temple episodes which are my favorite WoW dungeons. Keep up the good work, because you’re podcasts have entertained me so much. No pressure but impatiently waiting on Scholomance; I can’t wait to hear the history behind that one!

BTW...(in reference to a previous review) I also ran a paladin in Vanilla and I was the second person on the server to get Baron Rivendare's mount ;) Didn't get my 'rainbow pants' until much later (had full T2 before I got them).
