This run of live play D&D is outstanding. Well edited, solid sound design, and good role play. I’m hoping the cast will get together again for another run. But in the meantime, you can listen to this again and again

This was one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. I’ve probably listened to all episodes about 7-8 times. Too bad it was ruined with the whole ProJared/Commander Holly stuff. Game Grumps, make another one of these with another DM. I bet Jesse Cox would make a great DM...just a thought! ;)

Great show favorite podcast but when is season 2 coming?

It’s a fun fantastic series, but since of the recent events, it would be better if Pro Jared and Commander Holly’s parts are silent. It would make it better to watch. Thanks grumps ^^

I’m a big fan of Game Grumps, ProJared and DnD so this was overall a lovely experience. The sound design added a nice layer of engagement and ProJared’s DMing was detailed and fun. Everyone found their own unique way to tell a funny engaging story that I’d love to hear continued. Hoping for a revival next DnDecember if you find the time.

I am a fan of the grumps and I owe this series a lot, for it ignited the DND flame inside me but it is very understandable why some people dislike it.

Uninteresting plot, poor narration, boring characters. Check out Not Another D&D Podcast. I loved the podcast and I hope they make more episodes. I really enjoyed it and would watch it again, which I have, over half a dozen times.

This is pretty much what you would expect it to be. A short dnd campaign with the game grumps. Nothing too special, quite a bit of arguing over stupid stuff much of the time, but it has its golden moments worth listening for. A lot can be forgiven since it was some of their first times playing.

A good listen regardless of familiarity with the players.

It can be funny at times, but there is too much “can/do I roll for that?” I wish the players would take it a little bit more serious. Combat really drags because new players. That’s completely understandable, but at the same time, it’s not very interesting to listen to people fumbling over their character sheets or game mechanics.

I could not stop laughing the whole time! Not even by the end of the first ten minutes, I fell off of my bed because of how much I was laughing! If only they had some sort of transition so you could tell when one joke ends and another begins, but still, this compilation will go down in the history books of comedy.

I loved hearing the amazing adventures of these merry adventures. The windmills attack is best attack! Love your work I hope you guys could make an other game/season of this wonderful game!! Love you Game Grumps and friends!

ProJared is a great dm and I love seeing the people involved with game grumps playing the game. Idk if Danny played dnd in his past but either way I would love to see him in season 2. So again please make another season.

It was great to listen to while playing Monster Hunter, and writing out my own campaign as a DM. Not your typical podcast, but for those into D&D or anything medieval definitely a great podcast. Started off a bit slow in the first episode but the other 7 were phenomenal.

I hear all these people talking about, “too much dice rolling” or “too much combat” but that’s what D&D is all about, but despite all this I really liked dragons in places

Some people were saying that they wished the die rolling would “die down after a while” although that is an amazing accidental pun. I don’t think said person understands what D&D is. I don’t know who did all the well timed and hilarious sound effects, but I love them. Would love to see this podcast continue or whoever produced it to produce another D&D podcast. I felt bad in the first few episodes. The guy who played Femur was struggling with all the different multipliers and what he was supposed to add to what. If it’s any consolation your character was one of my favorites the only one I could picture perfectly in my mind. Keep it up dude you’ll get the hang of it. Love it guys!!!

I don’t know how to describe the feeling but when I listen to this podcast it just feels like absolutely no effort was put into creating it. Like they just sat down and recorded the game sessions and then later were like “oh hey what if we made that a podcast?”. Every Character manages to feel like they are somehow simultaneously trying too hard to be different and not trying hard enough to be interesting. I can only recommend this show if you just absolutely love the people in it. Even if you don't like just one person in this I’m gonna have to say skip it. If you want a comedy D&D podcast I’m sure you can find them very easily.

i really appreciate all the sfx in this like wow. I’m not super experienced with d&d adventures but I had a good time with this one especially as a fan of game grumps. it’s a pretty fun romp around and I hope they bring on a season 2!

I follow the game grumps on YouTube and I absolutely fell in love with this series with the very first episode. I find the story fun and exciting. The players while still learning (so am I) are having fun with it in their own way. It’s entertaining and addictive. I hope this continues and I get to learn more about this group’s adventures!

Funny, with plenty of adventure and the DM did a great job of guiding a mix of new and experienced players. Heard about it on the Dungeon Delve podcast and proceeded to binge. Was not disappointed.

If you love the wit and creativity of Dice, Camera... Action, I think you will be disappointed by this show. The humor is gross out, potty, or utterly juvenile. Character development is completely missing besides Holly who is great, but totally wasting her time here, unfortunately. I like Jared as well and wish he had put together a more interesting group. Bummer.

I wanted to wait until hearing the entirety of the first season before writing anything- and I am so glad I did! I for one was fine with the first episode going straight into combat, though others may have not. The dynamic between everyone is so fun and hilarious, and I love all the characters. And the story woven for this first season was just right! It ended in a way that has me begging for more!! I look forward to more of this show!!

I thought this would be funnier but the focus is mostly on combat, not story. That’s fine for the people playing, but as a listener, it’s just not interesting. I had expected more from the grumps crew. Maybe season 2 will be better.

I've been a Lovely since the beginning and love all the Grumps. I've always enjoyed watching friends play DnD and so when I heard the Grumps were doing this I knew it was going to be amazing. It makes my day at a desk job so much better, and it actually makes me want to try playing myself instead of just watching. You guys are so friggin hilarious, I love you all! Looking forward to more episodes! tl,dr; It's really frickin funny give it a listen! Definitely recommend.

Same problem I have with game grumps but made worse, why do I need to listen to you eat AND someone literally making a sucking sound the WHOLE time. It’s an audio show, focus on not making your audio nauseating and I’ll grant a full five in a heartbeat.

I find this perfect to listen to while doing stuff after you finish the G club several times. Thanks gruimps keep up the funny work

Being consciously obstructive & stupid does not a good campaign make. Only listening for Holly & Jared because if their fantastic work on Dice, Camera, Action.

This is some really high quality production on this podcast. Long time fan of Game Grumps and happy to see them branching into table top. Honestly, the banter reminds me of my table and I love these guys.

I’ve listened to a few other Dnd podcasts and this one doesn’t rank very highly. The entirety of the first episode is the majority of the group fighting faceless bandits. I think that this series desperately needed and episode zero to actually introduce the characters. Arin tries to yell out some of his characters back story but most of the rest of the cast is limited to generic cookie cutter characters (Druid who loves flowers, undead who drools, short guy who can’t hit high). I want to have some hope for this, but can’t really get behind it as it is now.

I will say one thing about myself and that's that I have a very short attention span, but I have to say that this has me sitting there while doing my homework, playing a game, or just staring at a wall, and being captivated. The atmosphere is amazing and it also feels like we are there with everyone at that table, like it's almost interactive. All the people there just bring it to life especially the dungeon keeper and it's always interesting. The sounds as well whole not needed somehow just pulls everything together. Thank you so much for making this, I love it a lot, and keep doing what you're doing!

The Good: Jared seems to be a really good DM. Really enjoying listening to him leading this group through a campaign. Holly is a delight to listen to, and the rest of the players seem like a lot of fun as well. Also, for those who care, audio quality of this podcast is top notch. The Less Good: I'm three episodes in, and most of the players still don't know how to play. In a more roleplay-intensive, character driven campaign that's not a problem, and can be funny, but this game has a decent amount of combat and skill checks(not a complaint, btw), and hearing players make the same mistake that they made literally the round before can get a little frustrating. Hopefully this will improve over time, but I wish that they'd edit these moments out in the meantime.

While I’m mostly unfamiliar with DnD, I find this to be an enjoyable listen. The ridiculousness and sometimes disregard for how the game “should be” played is the same charm that makes game grumps one of my favorite YouTube channels. Listening as the DM forces Barry to roll to show off for the king and having Barry roll a twenty is exactly the kind of moment that will keep me listening.

Love the commentary and story, so entertaining. Balance of “behind the scenes” moments and off-kilter comedy tangents gives the whole podcast a very immersive and realistic experience, very much in the style of the Game Grumps. Please take your time and keep going at whatever pace you feel, I’ll love it regardless. Keep up the good work!

It's funny. The story is pretty good so far. 1st DnD pod that I got into!

As a fan of GG, Commander Holly, Projared and Mort3mer I am so excited this is a thing. All the characters are really great and Jared is a really great DM. The story is just starting and most of the cast are still getting the hang of things but I am already so excited for more.
