This is honestly my comfort place. Mitch and Nick never failed to make me cry laugh. They always bring out the best in their guests. I love this show so much.

Truly a goofy show I look forward to every week, so that I can decompress from the monotony of adulthood and laugh with/at my parasocial friends, Wiger and Mitch. So, thanks for helping me laugh more often at all that is absurd in the world (which is a lot), even if that means you guys devouring a cartoonish amount of fast food for our amusement. P.S. I recently just listened to one of the Double episodes in which you tried the peanut-butter-flavored snack, “Bamba,” and I’m absolutely thrilled. I grew up occasionally eating these odd but delightful puffs, and it reminds me of simpler times.

These two, their production team, and their guests are so hilarious, cringe, and endearing simultaneously. You know how you’re supposed to laugh to sort of lift your spirits? Doughboys does the trick and I’m glad I found them in 2023!

The main reason to listen to this show was just removed from the main feed! Around 2019, this show went off the rails and has since devolved into fan service. I’m sad that the early shows have been removed because they were truly funny.

Who is who

I’ve been a listener for years. Truly the best comedy podcast, and the podcast I get most excited to listen to. The chemistry between nick and Mitch is wonderful. They are talented and some of the funniest people ever. What a treat

You guys are weirdos, but that is the reason I love this podcast. You joking about putting cookies on your **** and somehow be adults, but act like preschoolers, makes me love this podcast so much. Doughboys is really good, and the secret to that is: Mitch and Wiger are both skilled interviewers who get interesting, personal, reflective stories out of their guests, often from the starting point of their relationship with food from childhood to the present. For real!

Show has zero cohesion. No flow. Random boring topics or just repeated topics.

Equal parts fun show and nihilistic cult. Mitch makes everything sexual and it’s very uncomfortable.

I seriously love this podcast, and the fact that the lovable & hilarious hosts have found this way to (I hope) put some extra change in their pockets by being their best selves, living their best lives, and making me happier at the end of boring commutes than when I left home.

Love you guys so much but please stop advertising for Better Help! They’re predatory to and awful to both their clients and therapists/employees. There’s a class action lawsuit happening because they sold their clients’ mental health data to advertisers!! Accessible therapy is important but this isn’t it.

They’re in their own LA echo chamber, and if you think differently than they do, or their friends do, you’re a fool and the butt of their “jokes.” Two guys that hate the country they’re thriving so much in, hate capitalists but make 20k+ each a month from recording a podcast together. Always talk about wanting to get out of this country, but they haven’t left? I doubt they care, their core audience loves it, but their dreams of any mainstream success or Netflix shows won’t happen because they appeal to such a small demographic. Nothing makes me laugh more than 2 rich guys talking about how our country has gone to crap, that is truly funny.

I’m a day 1 listener and love this show so much. It’s funny and interesting and sometimes even informative. Please go see the boys live if you ever get the chance!

Discovered this pod during the height of lockdown in nyc march 2020, and so truly glad I did. If you like the best of ucb/cbb humor, you’ll love it too- these two have brought me laugh-out-laughter, comfort, and joy for years now (along with many of their guests). Thank you Mitch and Wiges for being amazing at such a niche thing!! Had a literal recent debate with my dad about sweet green vs cava… just started the ep but so curious for the result! (Team sweetgreen here based on your criteria of achieving what the chain set out to do- cava is erratic and meh)

I don’t understand

Long time listener first time caller…Been away for years, recently came back as I don’t commute to and from work now wanted to see if the old format was still cranking and lo and behold it is!!! Not that that is a bad thing as one of my only complaints over the years was the profanity other than that and the sting of coffee coming out of my nose from laughing unexpectedly you all are still firing on all cylinders. Thanks for you you do.

When I crave terrible food, now I just listen to Doughboys. I feel about the same afterward as if I HAD eaten it, but hey, fewer calories and no heart attack! Love y’all!

I started listening a little while ago and had to go back to the beginning to listen to all the episodes. There are some guests I always get psyched for like Betsy Sodaro, PFT, John Hodgman, but the dynamic of the ‘Boys is what keeps me listening.

I’ve been listening for years but never glanced at the reviews until today. Sorry to all people who can’t handle/comprehend sarcasm/satire/how comics are. This podcast is a beautiful and gleaming gem and I love it.

I forget that fans of doughboys are unfunny people who legit think…you know what? I’m just not gonna go there. 😎 But I do hope someday soon the pivot the premise but I know that’s probably impossible. I just don’t want anybody to die, I’m not a super healthy eater but we can all see that fast food and the global domination of agriculture and resources of the west ultimately lead to these restaurant empires which in turn exploit its workers to the nth degree and make profits unknown previously to mankind. Thats how funny these two are I love them. They could do literally anything and I would listen.

These guys pull in over $100,000 every month through their Patreon, but cannot be bothered to record live together? They have the same 10 guests rotate in and out, and keep reviewing the same fast food chains over and over again.
