Great podcast, I definitely miss it. I revisit it and relisten. I would love to have some new episodes periodically!

Started listening because I LOVE Denzel as an actor, and truly felt he was the greatest - and I couldn't believe that other people shared this opinion enough to make a podcast. That hooked me, but what keeps me coming back is the smart commentary that often goes beyond Denzel - and has expanded with really great guests with perspectives on the craft, race and the entertainment business that elevated the podcast to a must listen status.

This podcast is All People Homework. There have been too many times that you made me look like the crazy laughing guy on my daily transit commute. This show is definitely a...uh...I give it a "6".

I never know if an episode is going to be a funny convo about Denzel films, or an academic level dissection of black cinema. Always awesome.

I was just rating another of the podcasts I listen to and noticed I hadn’t rated this one. It’s excellent, one of the best, I’m glad I listened to a good deal of it when it was new and current.

I already loved this podcast, and then the Vincent D'Nofrio ep pushed it over the top. Keep 'em coming!

I like a lot of the banter but sometimes it seems like it is inside joke stuff...How would listeners have any idea what you're talking about?

I know y'all are close to the end of the show, but man... this is one of my favorite podcasts. I'm going to miss it when it's gone! Hope to hear you both doing other stuff in the future.

I love this podcast for the chemistry btw Baby Kev & Questlove, the amazing guests and of course because Denzel is gawd but mainly for the glazed look on people's faces when i try and convincing them they need to be listening.

I've hardly seen any of the movies they're talking about and I still love it. So happy I came across it.

Worse execution. First of all, Denzel is fine-but hardly great. Secondly, these guys do an awful job reviewing his films.

You better believe I'm a Denzealot after discovering this podcast. W. Kamau Bell and Kevin Avery have such a deep reverence for the ouvre of the greatest actor of all time that they convinced me even more of that fact. Listen for the phenomenal guests and the great reviews that make you want to make your own top five and marathon them immediately.

This is my go to podcast for a good laugh and information about Denzel movies.

Denzel is one of my favorite actors, and this podcast is funny and insightful.

Love love love this show - I was never a huge Denzel Fan of course he was a good actor but I would say Jeffrey Wright when asked however listening to This podcast talk about the importance of Denzel his work and really analyzed it . Like an old episode said " Spike Lee spoke of the need to canonized Black artists and that doesn't happen. And this show brings the need 2 the forefront. I tell all my friends check it out Thanks guys I look forward to Denzel coming on one day

I've followed Kamau and Kevin since the days of the Siskel & Negro podcast, and have enjoyed the continued evolution of their approach to topics equally entertaining, silly, epic, and even socially conscious. Yes this podcast is the ultimate love letter to one of cinema's heavyweights, but it's also on a deeper level a celebration of black talent throughout the entertainment industry. The guests are superb, and the sibling-esque bromance between the hosts only adds to the podcast's appeal.

Kevin you are awesome! You are the main reason I listen. I really loved the episodes you did on your own without Kamau. Especially the one with Phoebe Robinson. You guys had so much good chemistry. Love how secure and fun you are! Keep up the great work!

Emmy-nominees (yassss!) Kevin & Kamau are waaaaay hilarious -- especially when they drift off topic. Everything is up for grabs; no subject us too far afield. It's like hanging out with a couple of good, and opinionated, friends every week.

Absolutely one of the best podcasts out here period. It's super funny, insightfully and they have great taste in film. I'm a fan for life so I guess Kevin does have everything.

For real, one of the best podcasts ever! You don't have to be a fan of Denzel's to enjoy the banter and fun teasing that goes on between W. Kamau Bell and Kevin Avery. I've been a fan since Totally Biased and thanks to podcasting I still get to enjoy these two. So happy!

I stopped listening because I enjoyed the reviews and I thought the social commentary was kind of neat at times but way too preachy, then it became the entire show; even worse they just kept reviewing some of the same movies. I had fun with the rating system and how Kevin Avery and W. Kamau Bell would interpret what they got out of each Denzel movie and I was rooting for them to get through the filmography. I know this is free entertainment but I’m too bummed out to just unsubscribe from this podcast without saying anything. I wish the guys well, but the show turned into something that I didn’t sign up for. Why couldn’t they just accomplish their original mission statement? As a black guy I was proud that we had a fan/movie analysis show up there with James Bonding, The Star Wars Minute and Alphabeaticle.

Great discussions every week about both pop culture and black culture. Kevin and W Kamau are hilarious and genuinely interesting. Keep It up! Love all the Grey's Anatomy lately too.

What a wonderful and geeky idea for a podcast! Kevin and Kamau have excellent chemistry together, and their guests often bring that extra something that makes each episode of DWITGAOATP a real treat. This is what they do! ;-)

There's hasn't been a new podcast in a few weeks and I'm so bummed. I always enjoy hearing their POV about black film and of course Denzel's filmography. The show books great guest and I'm hooked even though W. Kamal can be so passive aggressive toward Kevin. Always entertaining!

Finally caught up on all the episodes. These guys are a great duo that keep you entertained at all times.

I didn't know I loved Denzel this much until this podcast. However, I knew I was a big fan of W. Kamau and now Kevin Avery, who had everything including a dope podcast.

Two very funny, smart and engaging voices. And all through the lens of Denzel. Enough said. Except it is about so much more. The multitude of cultural sub-genre talk. This is the bam bam.

Love this podcast. The co-hosts have a great chemistry and aren't afraid to go off on an ocassional tangent. But they always bring it back to Denzel--the greatest actor of all time! Glad I discovered this one.

I absolutely love this podcast!! Kamu and Kevin have amazing chemistry so they are hilarious! I actually learn things when I listen to these guys!

But I have to take a star off my rating for the incessant obnoxious nose clearing by one of the hosts. It is disgusting and while I LOVE the content and their chemistry, it is such a turn off I have a hard time listening to the episodes. Please take a Claritin or lean to clear OFF MIKE!!

Seriously, it's the weirdest concept for a podcast I think I've ever encountered, but because, as a child, I thought my dad and Denzel were the same person (I will never watch Glory AGAIN EVER), I've been on board from day one and have yet to be disappointed. But also it's just funny as hell. So if you just get yourself some beer, sit back, and relax, it's like being in a weekly book club, but with movies that have Denzel in them. Win/win, y'all.

Great show by great hosts about the greatest actor of all time, period.
