Long Time Listener
I've been listening to Nathan and Alex for years. They have some great conversations and their interviews are excellent as well. This is one of the few podcasts I've found focusing on game mechanics instead of news, and it does a good job. It makes me think about my own gaming groups and my process for eventually developing my own tabletop content.

Nerdy, Likeable, and In Depth
Alex and Nathan are such great hosts and they really know their stuff. I love the fact that they bring on game designers and talk about the trials and tribulations of game design. Highly recommend.

I'm not a game guy, but....
I listened to this despite it not being 'my kind of thing' because.. well I'm a fellow podcaster and I think its important to show each other support and offer constructive advice. I'll tell ya what, I REALLY legit liked listenng to this. I listened to a lot of 'I know you know' episode.. I LOVE the intro, the sound quality is good, the voices are smooth sounding and as important as anythign else, the sound quality is really, really good. Much continued success--this is one of the better sounding pods I've listened to in a while.

Pat's Own Review
A great series of guests!
The recent trend of having guests onto the show, usually to talk about a game or games of the guests' creation, is a great one. Always entertaining, and you learn about a lot of cool stuff in the process.

Solid Production Values
Good times if you’re into RPG design, game mechanics, etc. Niche, but nicely done!

Great chemistry
These guys crack me up in every episode. One guy doesn't know tabletop games, and his friend explains them in highly knowledgable fashion. You will laugh til you cry, and you'll learn a lot about game design and development choices.

Great Start!
The inaugural episode focuses on what the hosts are attempting - and that is fairly ambitious. They want to look at how games are put together mechanically, and use that to figure out what the game is all about. The catch is that Nathan has limited non-video game experience, so he has a unique perspective, asking some pretty solid questions. This was a solid first episode, and I look forward to many more.
