These 3 Irish gents definitely have the best podcast about MCU material I’ve listened to. They are upbeat, fun and for a non comic book reader like myself they sprinkle in enough comic book background to increase my enjoyment and understanding of the show(s). Definitely worth a listen and a full 5 stars, or in this case 5 moons🌙!

Defenders TV Podcast of Jessica Jones is the one to listen to. Derek, Chris and John do a deep dive into each episode (now on the 3rd and final season of Jessica Jones) and leave you waiting for the next installment. Go Brits!

It would be better with just Jon and Derek. Gotham channel is the best.

Spot on. I am stumped by podcasters who can’t get the names of the characters correct, get the facts wrong, or just don’t seem to have closely watched or enjoyed watching the show. These three, although they don’t always like each episode, clearly have done the research. They hit all the important points, and do it in an organized, enjoyable manner. Thank you.

Long and entertaining Only problem the shows they cover are so good I can’t go do one episode a week

1) The hosts are very professional 2) The podcast has an active community 3) Very entertaining personalities 4) Won’t bombard you with PC anecdotes, like some Marvel-Netflix podcasts 5) Not just a Netflix podcast: they even cover some of my fav comics currently being released like Doctor Strange!! 😱

I’ve enjoyed listening along with these guys for all the Marvel Netflix shows and their Gotham podcast. They are very insightful and you can tell they’re true fans. It’s nice to hear people who are as excited about these shows as I am, I get tired of people who just have negative things to say.

I tuned in for the first time for the Black Panther review since I am obsessed with the movie. It was the most thoughtful and detailed review I’ve heard out of many. Between all of the hosts the movie was covered superbly. And it was the ONLY review I’ve heard that actually took the time to get the names (characters and actors) right. Thanks for that. Keep up the great work.

The charming fellows (+ lady, sometimes) are a pleasure to listen to. After binging a 2nd season of Daredevil, en route to watching the other Marvel Netflix shows, including The Defenders, I binged the backlog of this podcast. Derek, John and Chris are wonderful regular hosts with deep cut insights to the Daredevil comic history as well as other pop culture references. You can tell they're great friends, and their lovely accents are a thrill to hear for this Yankee!

LOVED the recaps! As someone that wasn’t particularly interested in rewatching all 4 individual series it was great to listen to the recaps which touched on everything important and hit on details that I probably wouldn’t have caught or remembered. I also really enjoy the format which includes details about the writers and directors and a synopsis plus their 5 points. So great!

Stumbled onto this podcast when Jessica Jones came out on Netflix. It has turned into my favorite podcast. I look forward to every new episode. Intelligent and entertaining discussions of good material. This is a must listen.

I have recently discovered this podcast for the Netflix Marvel Universe. It is very well done. They have good comic book backgrounds without being overwhelming. They are well balanced in their analysis. Keep up the good work, guys.

I found this podcast recently after the release of the second season of Daredevil. The podcast is well done with good sound and editing. I enjoy listening to the hosts discuss the characters and the overall look and feel of the shows. I listen while I clean house, and it makes the time fly by. I plan to join the FB group.

When Daredevil first dropped on Netflix, I wanted to find a podcast to go along with it so I could get some different perspectives on what I was seeing. So, I started listening to podcast (not this one) but somehow the feed got messed up and I lost the subscription. Lucky me! In searching for the lost Podcast, I stumbled up Defenders TV Podcast, and have since enjoyed their excellent take on such ventures as Daredevil, Agent Carter and various Marvel movies. If you like all things Marvel, this is a podcast you’ll really enjoy.

As a newbie as far as the Defenders go, this podcast is able to really inform me on the knowledge that I need to be able to really engage other fanatics about it. The hosts are really passionate and I can tell that they get just as excited about Daredevil and the new Jessica Jones shows. I started off just listening to the NYCC review, and then going backwards which was nice. So cool guys. Keep it up!

I've listened to a few podcasts about the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Netflix shows in particular, and this one is definitely my favorite. Entertaining and the hosts have good senses of humor.

These guys are great. Smart, funny and incredibly geeky. They’re deeply steeped in Marvel lore, but that doesn’t get in the way of a casual fan’s enjoyment for a second. Their affection for the show is so infectious it’s made me count the days until their new podcast — even though I saw the episodes in the States months ago! I defend this podcast. 5 Clever Brits out of 5 possible Clever Brits.

These guys know their marvel comics and defenders history. their passion for the subject matters is amazing and contagious. 1 host gets hung up on continuity issues which sometimes goes a little too far but he does openly admit he is picky-a few times spent too much time on it-these things will never be perfect. Lastly, do something about your volume settings. I can only listen to you on headphones on my bluetooth speakers I max out the volume settings on phone and speakers and barely can make out what you are saying. don't have issue with other podcast so guessing you your side. easy to turn down volume settings on device but can not make up more if recorded with limitations. I too enjoy the 5 point format of the show. I've never heard any other show do it that way. The nicknames at the beginning are a bit cheesy, but I get that they are just trying to be fun. Looking forward to the upcoming Marvel/Netflix series coverage.

I love the format - 5 points each. Can't get enough of the podcasts of Daredevil. Two of the gentlemen need to get closer to their microphones, I can barely hear them without turning my speakers up too high. Other than that, the podcast discussion is very good!
