Michael’s podcast is a champion for animals. As an animal lover and vegan this subject is close to my heart. It’s a subject that is timely and important for the conservation of wildlife and the ecosystems in our natural world. I live next door to Yosemite National Park and know how advocacy is an important part of conservation and protecting our wildlife. Thank you, Michael!

While I love interviews, I skip many interview podcasts because the quality seems to suffer. Defender Radio is solid, however -- and Michael Howie is a gracious host. The topics and experts interviewed are varied, but the show always remains focused on its purpose: advocating for wildlife. The balance between serious topics and fun/entertaining topics (and guests) make for a great show!
