Mike and Morf do an incredible job with research and presentation. The cases are compelling, and a lot of respect and compassion for the victims and families comes ahinning through. As a host of a true crime podcast myself. I look to these gentlemen for inspiration.

Mike & Mike, you rule. Oftentimes I’ll scroll through my subscriptions and mark them “played” because of cases that have been covered ad nauseam, or run for 2 hours, but not you two. An example is the recent Ruby Franke and Jodi Hildebrandt case. You provided more depth and compassion than I’d heard before, and somehow, you nail what listeners are thinking at home. Well done, lads.

I’ve listened to all of Criminology, much of The Murder In My Family, all of TCATT, and a few TCATT–Unsolved. Mostly because I don’t like unsolved shows. & I’ve listened to many, many more (100s to be honest.) True Crime podcasts over the last give or take 12+ years. (I’ve been listening for so long I can’t even recall when the phenomenon started.) I didn’t have to play catch-up w/Casefiles or Serial. So that’s me & my Bona Fides, so to speak. This episode, like #305, of Criminology was really great! As in well done! I found it to be very moving with relatively satisfying resolution by the end of the episode given the so called mother, Rubi, & her partner Jodi, I think, were both going to be spending time in prison for their treatment of Rubi’s kids! (At least I hope Jodi was also bound for prison & not merely being struck off for her own treatment of those kids given she was a mandated reporter! Both mother & - - Jodi’s behavior was despicable! We were not given enough information to determine whether Dad Kevin’s behavior was sad or pathological. We can all stand in judgment saying we would have done better & not let out wife treat our kids like that; but none of us were in his shoes. After all Jodi was an educated woman in the mental health field! It can take a lot for an alternatively educated person to essentially say: I know more. The podcast stated CPS was involved! No. I don’t think we can judge him. He & his kids were victims. The only sad thing is these two women could possibly receive the lighter-side of their sentences because we still don’t value children & women and the disabled as much as we do do able able bodied white boys!

Celebrating 300 episodes with three episodes that revealed zero new perspectives or information about Jon Bonet was a display of sheer laziness. Do better.

Currently caught up on TCAT and TCAT Unsolved, natural next steps brought me to Criminology. Love the POD.

So difficult to listen to these guys read their script. Especially one of them in particular. Sounds like a grade schooler learning to read.

I was recommended from the Crime junkie series to listen and I’m hooked I really like this pod cast

Too much time spent taking about themselves and too much of an obsession with unsolved cases. The show should be called " my wife and kids"

I’ve been listening to Criminology starting a few months ago, going from the oldest forward. I’m enjoying your podcast because of your deep dive into the incident. You both do not just read or watch mainstream media and have discussions with family and law enforcement. In addition you do not get political, as most do. I quit many podcasts like Small Town Murder, Seeing Red, and Generation Why, because they are way too political and they only use mainstream content vs also listening or watching independent media like those on Rumble. I’ve always been interested in crime for personal awareness of knowing what to look out for to be safe. Please keep up the detailed work and keep politics out of it. On Mississippi Burning, you spoke little politics but couldn’t avoid it, however, eloquently done. Nice work!

Listen to all Mike(s) podcasts. Just a small correction…Jodi Arias did not return to EUREKA, (your reka) Humboldt County, she returned to her grandparents home in Yreka(why Reka) in Siskiyou County. My kids used to always get these mixed along with ARCATA (Our cata) when they were 3-5 years old. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 & Keep your own time tickin’ 💕

I found them when I started listening to The Zodiac Speaks. Criminology Podcast is such a great podcast to listen to, they highlight high profile cases, along with cases that should be highlighted. Highly recommend, informative & compassionate.

I discovered this podcast in the middle of their season two episodes which was on the golden state killer and I was immediately hooked. Mike and Morf have a really great chemistry with each other. Their attention to detail and how they lead the listener through each case carefully, respectfully and honestly is what makes this podcast the best. I was a fan of the show for years! Not anymore! Absolutely full of misinformation! DEAN RUNKLE was Renners suspect in this case!!! NOT THE PERSON WHO DROVE BY THE CRIME SCENE! Not the boyfriend of the woman who came forward in 2019! That was Bill McClellan!!!!!!! THIS is why law enforcement can’t be trusted!!! This show is an absolute JOKE and not far from click bait!!!

Mike Ferguson makes unusual pauses when he talks. Very hard to listen to.

Mike and Morph do a great job of bringing information in a respectful & victim-centric manner.

Mike and Morf are nice guys with good researchers and commentaries. My main gripe is Morf mispronounces a lot and it’s just nails on the chalkboard stuff. The editing also is weird, like on TCATT. Morf seems like he’s bored. Ferguson does a good job and I prefer listening to him and Gibby.

This is such a great true crime podcast. The hosts are professional and respectful, and the stories are researched and told in a straightforward manner. This is one of my favorite true crime shows. I really like and respect the work they do.

Ugh! Two guys equals twice as boring. Hate this format. Just a way to make a 20 minute story go on for 55 minutes.

Loved the twist for a 9/11 show, thank you. If you do a live show, or skip an episode, for crimecon, I will be back to take at least two stars away.

It is truly criminal how great these guys tell a story. Love the deep diving details and how much work they put into it to bring us one step closer to understanding the minds of these murderers. I know we’ll never fully understand them but this is a great insight!

I love this podcast, from the research to the interviews. My only problems are the obsession with the Golden State Killer, they compare him to Others far too often. Also, their need to explain some things over and over, we’ve heard it 20 times before you don’t need to say it again.

I found this podcast a couple weeks ago and it’s been the one I’ve played every day consistently. I didn’t used to listen to podcasts until I came across Killer Psyche, from there I found this one and I love it!

I have been on the hunt for a new true crime podcast and the search is over! Great at telling the story and reviewing different theories. love this podcast…highly recommend!

Your podcast is one of my favorites! I’ve been listening to you for a long time. I’ve been bad at leaving reviews but it’s about time because I don’t want you guys to go away! I love true crime podcasts because it helps brings awareness to us of the evil in the world…which in turn helps fight crime…so as to lessen human suffering.

I love this podcast. I’m not one that can listen to a podcast or audiobook and pay attention. Criminology is the first podcast to be able to hold my attention. I don’t feel like they’re adding dramatics or under playing anything. They don’t drag anything out and it’s not rushed. I’m so glad I found criminology and have this break from the stressors in my life 😊

A right to the point true crime podcast with interesting stories. A very good listen!

I have been listening to True Crime Podcasts for almost a decade. There are now five that I find to be the best and Criminology is one of them. Mike and Mike are dynamic, accurate, and very smart. Criminology is a must “listen”.

Was much better when it wasn’t just an “unsolved mysteries” show. Was much better doing deep dives of big solved cases.

Reminds me of when you were in school and you had to write a 500 word essay but only had 150 words so you start repeating yourself and adding unnecessary or irrelevant info. The main host’s cadence/the way he emphasizes certain syllables is maddening. It sounds like he’s talking slowly and stating the obvious to drag things out or because he thinks the listeners are stupid. It comes across as condescending and like he’s reading to elementary students. The other host is just there to echo what he says for filler. I gave 2 stars because they cover some less known cases.

Overall I enjoy the podcast. If you like the genre, give it a try. I just think Mike F. is better on his own. I just don’t hear a chemistry between he and Mike M. I just don’t. Mike F speaks off the cuff mostly and is pretty good at that, but Mike M. just reads his script mainly and just isn’t very interesting or good at being a host, sorry. I think Mike F. maybe has more reps from his TCAT/TCATU, but his other host Gibby isn’t that great either. Mike F, if you read this, maybe consider going at it alone. I’ll keep listening, but with some cringe.

Been a listener for some time now. Really like the show, especially last season when they did a number of episodes on new forensics solving old cold cases. So interesting. The one thing that does bother me, and this goes for other TC podcasts as well, is when the hosts start over-speculating, and over-thinking things, such as a killer’s motivations, or scenarios that just have no backup data, or how victims must be feeling. They are projections, opinions... and should always be identified as that. The melodramatic projections got on my nerves so much, in the end, I decided to drop this cast from my list.

Hosts are annoying.
