Too bad

Not going to Spotify. Your most recent episode was trash. A lot of the episodes aren’t very good. How can you say someone is being gaslit and emotionally abused doesn’t have any reason to kill her partner? I’m not saying it’s ok, but she had a reason.

After listening to a couple shows on cases I had never heard about, I was willing to give the show a B- Then I listened to 2 cases of which I knew quite well. I started laughing because her explanation was ludicrous! I couldn’t stop shaking my head. Lanie was twisting the forensic, as well as other, facts of the case. I’m assuming to fit a “new” narrative for the murderer. This has shown me this podcast is very liberal with the facts of the cases it discusses. Bottom line, don’t take their narrative as the “truth.” Find another podcast, or search the case online, and you can get the actual details of the case.

I will not be following any longer. As silly as it might seem I think most social media and other platforms don’t really care much about their listeners/followers. Some of us don’t want to have to download and maintain another app/platform. It’s too much.

I thoroughly enjoy how detailed each episode is and that it doesn’t just touch on the surface of each crime. I enjoy how the narrator lays out each episode, but I just wish there were more episodes based on “recent” time crimes of passion 😔

I love this podcast. While some of the subject matter isn’t new, many of them are less known and all of the cases are well detailed. I really like the details into the psychology of the cases. The only thing that I dislike is the Crime Bites segments. Because each case is broken up into two, I like to wait until both are available. Crime Bites is included in between the two parts of each case. I don’t find Crime Bites all that interesting and the narrator has a monotonous voice, so I have to stop the podcast and find the next one, which really interrupts the flow. I’d love to see these go by the wayside.

I have been enjoying this potcast and Lanie has been doing a great job. But unfortunately since it is moving to Spotify I will not be following. I’ll be missing you Lanie :(

Love the show, part 2 still after a week later will not play. Every other episode does. New episode plays just fine. Surprised parcast has not yet addressed this on here??? Would appreciate an update or something after a week. Edit: Day 6535678899 and still no update, no new pt 2 release, nothing. :(

I love the narration, clear and to the point; it’s like listening to a macabre bedtime story. I just found the podcast this week and have been listening while I work nonstop.

...because it’s been almost a month and you still haven’t fixed Billy Woodward pt. 2.

I love how so many fans have notified this podcast of the Billy Woodward part 2 error, yet no response or action has been taken to fix the issue. Too busy cranking out new shows? This is a good podcast though.

I’ve always loved Lanie’s voice and this podcast but the 2nd part of Billy Woodward not playing is annoying and seeing in the reviews that people are telling you about this and reporting it and still nothing is being done to fix it is ridiculous. Listen to your fan base and give them what they want - not a new case but the ending of the case they got left on a cliffhanger what feels like weeks ago! I’ll change my 1 star review to more stars if you ever decided to pay attention to your listeners...

Can someone fix episode 2 of Billy Woodward? It still isn’t working. I’ve unsubscribed and redownloaded it and it still doesn’t work.

So I’m a fan of the podcast and like so many other reviewers have previously stated, I’m wanting to hear Part 2 of the Billy Woodward story. Why would you upload the first part of a new story instead of giving the audience what they have been requesting for the past week or so?? One star from me until this is rectified. smh

I have been a longtime listener of this show, and I have been thinking this for a while, but now that I’ve finished Part 2 of the Gerald

The host does a great job at telling the stories of these murderers! I love podcasts with just one host instead of two giving silly “surprised” reactions. I could do without the assuming what the disgusting murders are thinking, almost gives the killer too much power and not enough about the victims.

This is one of the best True Crime Podcasts I’ve heard. I love the details in the stories and the Hosts voice. Excellent!

I do like this podcast...for the most part. The last two parter on Pamela Smart, however, is way too one sided. Instead of the writer objectively and equally telling the case from both sides (that being the three boys acted alone and Pam getting the three boys to do it), the writer just basically portrays Pam Smart as completely innocent. Every time something could explain or show that she was the guilty one of planning the whole thing, the writer quickly uses words and reasoning to explain why she’s innocent. The writer hardly ever portrays Pam Smart as guilty. That is very poor writing and journalism. That is very biased. The writer actually is guilty of the same bias that they themselves say in the podcast that the media and the public were guilty of! How disappointing and very sad. Next time, stick to the facts and report and tell things in a more balanced way and stop having a political agenda...it’s becoming more apparent not only in this podcast but other Parcast podcasts. Seriously Mr Cutler, please just stop!
